For this post, we would be choosing a host and then installing Joomla on it in an easy way. I won’t be forcing any host service provider on any body. You can do your research and use the wants that fit you best. I personally use my own web hosting company for all my web developments need. Am comfortable with my services and am in partnership with a renowned host company in the USA where my servers are being taken care of.
Before you choose a web host for your bulk SMS website, I would like you to consider the following features.

After getting your domain name, the next logical thing to do is to get the hosting for your website unless, you intend to design your site offline and later transfer it to your host using FTP or any other means. But I will advise you do the design of your website online on the host at once to prevent complications when installing your bulk SMS component.

They are lots of domain name registrars you could use to purchase your domain name, but for this tutorial, I will be using goddady and varonhost. If you are not comfortable with these ones, just google “domain name registration” and you will see lots of registrars to choose from.
When I started I was advised by my mentors in web development then to make use of godaddy so I used them and never had any issues with them. I finally got my own domain and hosting service (www.varonhost.com) running so I now use it instead of godaddy.

If you’re using godaddy, you will need to make payment with either a visa card, master card, paypal etc because it’s not a Nigerian base company. The price for their .com domain is about 14 USD.
With varonhost, you can make payment with your credit cards or pay into the bank details on the site. Their prices are in Naira and not dollar which make it comfortable for some people.
N/B I am the owner of www.varonhost.com add you are not bound by any obligation to obtain your domain name from the. Chose a domain registrar that you are comfortable with. Google will help you.

Steps in registering a domain name with godaddy.
1) Go to www.godaddy.com
2) Type the name you want in the search box and click on search domain
3) It will show if the name is available or not. If its not available, it will show you some suggested name based on your search. If you don’t like any of those names you can search again using another name.
4) If the name is available, you can then click on submit and proceed to cart where you can then add your payment details

N/B Godaddy tries to make you pay for other extensions by giving some discounts. Decide what you want and go for it. Don’t be swayed by their discounts, you might never use those additional domains

Registering with VaronHost is almost the same with godaddy above
1) Go to www.varonhost.com
2) Type the domain name in the search box and click on search
3) It will show you if the domain name is available or not and you can proceed to check out.

I would discuss the ills of using all this cracked SPC3 component on your websites later but the most important one is that you wont be getting updates if new updates are released. That makes your website vulnerable to some security risk. Software developers here will know the ills of using outdated softwares.
