It is demonic people like you that are trying so hard to distract us but unfortunately for you the airport project is ongoing already. All those airports surrounding Anambra are even getting some form of traffic because of Anambra users. Anambra airport is going to be Nigeria's busiest airport after Abuja and Lagos, now kill yourself over this FACT.

1) Those states (or in many cases, the Federal goverment) built airports because there was a strategic need and there were no adequate nearby facilities. Anambra's case is the most foolish because the state is surrounded by states with airports - including a Federal airport.

2) Nothing remotely indicates Anambra would have the sort of air traffic which would make the project viable and profitable in the long run. Delta, a cosmopolitan state with a bigger economy than Anambra, have very little traffic in their state airport at Asaba.

3) The most ridiculous comment was to claim Anambra already has the best road network. By whose statistics? How many communities in Anambra have been crying out over being sacked by erosion? Have you finished tackling that? If houses in your village, including your own, were about to capitulate to erosion, would your priority be a white elephant project that serves little benefit to most people in the state?

1. The project is an Aerotropolis, an Integrated Modern City comprising an International Airport with 2 Runways, Malls, Industrial and Business Parks and Airport Hotels.
