Is Obiano from Imo state? Why are you discussing a performer alongside a failed b.astard? Focus on this thread and discuss what this thread was meant for- which is imo state and it's people. Be guided.. defashan: Obiano has everything to do with it. Both men love to advertise their names. Rochas will post his name at every inch of space in owerri with pictures including billboard of him with Obama. Obiano's tailors will sew and patch up his jumpers with his posters. He wears his face with pride. |

What has Obiano or Anambra got to do with this poo? Well if your intention is to mess this already messed up thread be my guest. defashan: What is it with south east governors and posters?
Talking of posters, you guys should leave Rochas alone, at least he doesn't sew and wear his posters like Anambra governor Obiano who also hang his billboards round his neck. I heard the wife boasted that the man does not drink alcohol instead that he enjoys champagne regularly.

I don't comment on your ordinary imo state unless you call for it. Stop calling me out unless you want me to be your guest here and on the imo state thread. Be guided.. I think that one is Oba end. I am happy with the type of houses they are raising there- low densities either duplexes but Government needs to provide more infrastructures in those areas as it will in future form part of the greater Onitsha. Ng, the roads are wide for an inner street. The roads are being worked on already as you can see from the last pic and machines are moving to and fro the streets for grading and asphalt. InyinyaAgbaOku: My dear, OP is very correct. Tell your self the truth. We have to get rid of unplanned and poorly executed settlements in Nigeria. Look at the width of the street roads up there and tell me it makes sense to you. Can you even construct a road there? How will the machines move? Op is not In anyway telling you all estates are unplanned in Nigeria . What of those middle class settlements that are not really 'estates' per say but come out haphazard? This is a public health emergency and we can't just wish it away like that. Tomorrow, when they want to build roads, some will start crying foul all over the place |

The Governor said however that despite the downturn in the economy, Anambra remains one of the four states in the country still paying regular salaries to workers and carrying out meaningful projects, attributing it to prudent management of resources.

Anambra has the largest gas reserve in Nigeria. Use your google.. loffyloffy: where will they get the gas from...when the existing power plants are suffering from lack of gas.
it is true Nigeria have a very huge gas reserve..but there is very little investment to tap into this, particularly for the local market.. because in most cases the returns on such investments are not encouraging.
add to that a very difficult operating retain viz a viz community issues, militancy, vandalism and ineffective governance.
the end result is that most of gasplants we have in Nigeria today are only producing about 40% of the time.(60% downtime)..and are not ussualy of the right quality(due to lack of investment in processing) to power our gas plants
building new gas plants is just like expanding this challenges. |
