After deliberately stepping on the back of Alozie during the World Cup, Lauren James does it again. Maybe we'll stop talking about youthful mistakes and admit that she has a shit mentality. Talent isn't everything.

Lauren James Is Absolutely a rancid player. There's only so many times people can defend her or say it's because of her age. She shows her true colours every time things aren't going her way.

Might be a Great Player but with a very poor attitude💯

Some Promising Falconets names from years ago that we wished were balling on the grand stage by now

Soo Adewagh
Courtney Dike
Esther Sunday
Loveth Ayila
Ihezuo
Helen Ukaonu
Igbinovia
Whyte

Add yours.

Of the above named players Whyte isn't supposed to be there cause she was never a superb goalie just an average one Coach Edwin Okon was forcing on Nigeria throat..

Soo Adekwagh is married, based in Finland with three kids now. A girl and twin boys. She didn't really play her into the Superfalcon but was very good at the age grade teams.

Helen Ukaonu and Osas Igbinovia are married and both are also mothers.. Ukaonu gave birth to her first daughter in 2015 if I'm not mistaking.

From what I see, this is a stronger version of Esther Okoronkwo. I hope she carries this form to her club

Esther Okoronkwo that I spoke to in 2020 and made Yanga at first that she wasn’t going to Play for Nigeria but the US. Anyway sha good for her. I remember I told Sam about it.

I remember clearly how after the 2010 U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup when IDS Indiana State University women's soccer team offered Ebere Orji a Scholarship to come Play for them but she turn it down, she rather stayed back here in Nigeria for few years before she got her first Professional contract Abroad to go Play for Ferencvaros FC, in Hungary then where she won trophies and the League Golden boot before moving to Sweden where she has been for over 6years now.

Ebere Orji would have been one of Nigeria top Star by now but her National team Career didn’t go as expected. A player who finished top3 alongside Perpetual Nkwocha and Stella Mbachu for the Africa Best Award then in 2010. Some one who lost the Golden Ball award to Alexander Popp then in the U20 WC final.
She was one of the Players Coach Uche Ngozi Eucharia love so much then that made her Drop Cynthia Uwak/the Sexuality Saga. I just wish our U20 players will follow the US College Soccer Path.

We need young goalkeeper

Onyinye Okeke have lost it, She came in before Nnadozie and was tagged the replacement for Precious Dede after excellent performance from the U17 & U20 level..

There was a time it was a Competition between her and Nnadozie from Friendly Game against France during WAFU and All AFRICAN GAMES tournament but she ended up becoming a Back Up. She's still Young though and can return when the time comes..

As for Linda Jiwuaku and Faith Omilana it's would be a great opportunity for any of them to use this U20 Level to prove a point that they're the next to Nnadozie cause Mgechi Anderline haven't impressed me at all both Club and U20... If she improve fine..

There's also Rita Akarekor based in Morocco

🟢🔵Colombia 2024: Danjuma invites Omilana, Kalu, Adoo, 27 others for Tanzania

Head Coach, Christopher Musa Danjuma has called up goalkeepers Faith Omilana and Linda Jiwuaku, defenders Jumoke Alani and Tumininu Adeshina, midfielders Taiwo Afolabi, Chinyere Kalu and Chidera Okenwa, and forwards Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, Yina Adoo and Opeyemi Ajakaye among a roster of 30 Falconets for next month’s 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against the U20 girls of Tanzania.

Following the withdrawal of Mauritius from the second-round attrition with Nigeria, the 2022 World Cup quarter-finalists drew a bye to the third round, where Tanzania await, with the first leg away in Dar es Salaam on a date within 10th – 12th November and the return leg in Abuja on a date within 17th – 19th November.

Danjuma has picked a few of his World Cup quarter-finalists from Costa Rica last year, and an impressive number from the Flamingos squad that won the bronze medals at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in India a year ago.

The invited players have been told to report at the Chida Hotel in Utako, Abuja on Sunday, 22nd October.

Why is Yewande not tried?

Yewande Balogun is already 34..

I ThinK the Point here is having a Young Goalie that is capable enough to back up Nnadozie, Incase she won't be available for any reason the other one can be reliable, Just like Tochukwu Oluehi who's a reliable Back up but she's past 36years already..

Once Demehin pick up, Plumptre will finally get her CB role to be pair alongside. Plumptre confidence for going forward is sweet. Ebi for now na just squad player. The intensity I've seen, I don't think she can match it.

Onome Ebi na retirement stage already, CB's we have now are Osinachi Ohale to play the role of Onome once she sign out finally.., Ashleigh Plumptre, Blessing Demehin, Akudo Ogbonna. Onyi Zogg can also play CB and FB.

"I haven't seen the statistics, but I assume we had a fair few shots. If some of those go in, maybe it's a different story, but they (Nigeria) were great on the counter, and they finished their chances." Australia captain, Steph Catley speaking after the game.

Did you guys notice when Game was 1-1, the Brisbane crowd were roaring & cheering the Maltidas, enters Asisat Oshoala! The whole stadium went quiet. Oshoala forced a corner...Nigeria scores; she then nets one herself. The Australian fans really knew what was coming.

Bro if Ireland thrash us and Australia win narrowly nko? You can't rule out anything with mathematics but I believe we'll qualify. Let's just be cautious in the meantime.

Is not Possible at all, You seems to forget that Randy Waldrum gets better with the team in every friendly or tournament they play.. They get better from Game to Game. I'm very certain that they would beat Ireland..

"Nigeria Internationals" 😂😂😭😭 Why not wait to see if they could secure moves to places like Scandinavian or Balkan countries... I understand that they maybe the breadwinners for their families, but aint no way they get paid more than $1,500/month in those countries and clubs they're rushing to.

Yeah between $1000 plus a month plus some little incentives like bonus..

This Balkan countries ain't that strong too but at least the little earning is quite important for them right now..Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania are far behind in the Womens game in Europe. The only thing moving them there is the little pay and life playing in Europe.

MacLean started from Belarus, down to Poland and now Russia..

Nigerian midfielder 🇳🇬Amanda Mbadi joined newly promoted French side 🇫🇷Saint Etienne from
Grand Genève FC in France.

She joins Regina Otu and goalkeeper Yewanda Balogun at the club.

Wetin Saint Etienne see for African Players😂🤣😂

By the way Regina Out, Amanda Mbadi are quite Similar. Who do the Coach Play them overall cause Otu was their Defensive Midfielder through out last season, maybe they will push her to a more Central role or Box-2-Box midfield then Mbadi slot in as the DM or a regular Sub off the Bench..

Don't forget this Ivorian tall lady can also play DM and CB..

Nope, Amanda is 5'10.

But yeah, I agree with you, we gotta be aggressive attacking set pieces. we usually have good delivery from Toni, but poor set piece coordination. Other than Ashleigh, no one even attempts attacking set pieces. Oshoala usually hangs out in the back post just watching play unfold while doing nothing. Demehin just stands in the middle ball watching, Ohale tussles, but doesn't jump for the ball, Onumonu tries but doesn't jump either.

Kanu, Oparanozie are deadly in the Air especially Kanu right now. Tony Payne deliveries have been okay and I think would get better as it goes.

Ohale do jump and almost all her goals she has scored for her Club are from header..

As for Oshoala she isn't that good with her head but do get goals with her head too. Can't write her off.

From another angle again is Imuran at Left Back, Demehin and Imuran seems to have this Chemistry right from Rivers Angels, U20 days down to Stade de Reims..

Imuran like to burst forward with pace which Demehin on the other stands firm defensively, but Ashleigh Plumptre is more of a Ball Playing Center Back who likes to drive forward with the ball too...

U are just throwing words out at this point. Leadership and communication is crazy. How do u even measure that All I know is Tosin walked into the starting lineup for a club in probably the best league in world and she took to it like a fish in water. She has done well for us in the lead up to this tournament so I don't even see wat the debate is about. She was given a chance and she took it, the end.

I have made my point With the options listed, Ashleigh Plumptre is way ahead but the Coaches are in best position to decide who's best to play for the team at the Moment..

Again you're talking as if Ashleigh Plumptre Plays in Div2 in England or even a weaker league like the Norwegian, Belgium and Finnish league.

Agreed. Experience is also another highpoint she has over Demehin. Save the u20 world cup, Demehin has played just one season of top professional football, while Ash played years in the D1 college games, 2 seasons at Notts County and four seasons at Leicester.

I'm been fair with my Points.. I can't Lie to you Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre were my first pick at Center Back, with Demehin and Onome coming in as alternative.

Right now The Coaches knows best too,

How is Plumptre a usual suspect over Demehin that has been playing since WAFCON finished?

The only Advantage Demehin is having over Plumptre is Pace, Physicality..

I don't see Demehin better than Plumptre in Positioning, Leadership and Communication, anticipation (Read game), Aerial Ability and Ball Playing/Distribution..

In terms of Tackling I will give it a 50/50
