Lyon and PSG are not strong this season i don't see either of the teams stopping Barcelona

Injury is affecting most of Lyon regulars, and Chelsea is the only team i see that can come close to battling Barcelona.. But Barcelona better use this to their advantage and get another Champions league trophy...

19years old Melchie Dumornay, also known as Corventina, is a Haitian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Stade de Reims and the Haiti women's national team could become the most expensive player in the history of the NWSL in the United States with a juicy $1.5 million contract for 4 years! The biggest contract offered by a team in the league.

If the Haitian signs, she will earn $375,000 thousand per year. Record.

Chinaza Uchendu on target as Gyeongju maintain unbeaten run

Nigeria international Chinaza Uchendu was part of the goal scorers as her South Korean WK League Women side, Gyeongju secured a 0-2 away win against Changnyeong on Thursday.
The former Linkopings midfielder last scored for her side on June 13, 2022, and ended her five-match run of not finding the back of the net.
In the additional minutes of the first half, the 2019 Women’s World Cup participant for Nigeria gave her side the lead.
Another goal from Japanese midfielder, Tanaka Asuna in the additional minutes of the second half handed Gyeongju a 2-0 win.
Uchendu had scored four goals for Gyeongju in the league this season since she joined the South Korean side from the Swedish Allsvenskan side, Linkopings FC.
The win extended Gyeongju’s unbeaten run to three games, a streak that started with a 1- draw against Boeun Sangmu on August 25, 2022.
The team defeated Sejong Sportstoto 2-1 in its previous league encounter before the latest 0-2 victory over Changnyeong.
Gyeongju currently occupy the second position on the log as far as the South Korean WK League Women is concerned with 46 points after 20 games, three points behind leaders, Incheon Hyundai Steel.
Uchendu and her side will next face Seoul in their next domestic topflight encounter on October 27, 2022.

The excuse all around have been Griedge Mbock, Ellie Carpenter, Vanessa Gilles, Sara Dabritz, Dzenifer Marozsan, Amel Majri, Catarina Macario, Ada Hegerberg, Delphine Cascarino : 9 of their key players are all out injured that's why Arsenal defeated them.

She no dey pass ball joor. Ordega was far better. The best winger Falcons never had was Vera Okolo, followed by Ordega. Esther is like Ikedia or udeze, too much dribble.

No Body said a player shouldn't dribble but the case is it should be fruitful, The final balls is what matters, On and off the ball movements, your defensive aspect of the game as a Forward or Winger, Esther Sunday didn't utilize her skills to full potential because i believe her Coaches at various levels must have been talking to her on that... As you have said, Vera Okolo is the best Superfalcons winger but Stella MBACHU should come in before Fransisca Ordega or you forget so soon that Stella was once one of Superfalcon best and dependable player..

Stella MBACHU is an expert in Corner kicks, Free Kicks and Penalties back then... #7

Tony Payne comes in whenever i remember Stella #7

How did she perform?

Amandine Miquel praises Tosin Demehin’s impressive Stade de Reims debut
Amandine Miquel has praised summer signing Tosin Demehin after an impressive Stade de Reims debut for the former Rivers Angels star.

After getting unveiled on Thursday following her arrival in France and first training on Wednesday, Demehin started and played the full 90 minutes of the Red and Whites’ 2-2 draw with Paris on Friday.

The Nigerian is still working her way to full fitness, having only arrived and trained with her new club in less than two days after helping Nigeria reach the U20 Women’s World Cup quaterfinal in August.

She made a number of blocks to contain the pouring attacks of the highflying Parisians and her new manager was left impressed by everything she saw from the young and solid defensive star.

“It was her first game for the club and she did her best,”

“Although there is a lot of to improve upon but having arrived just two days before the game it was a good first game performance. I am very impressed.”

Demehin moved to Reims on a free transfer this summer, having seen her last two-year stay at Rivers Angels to an end with a botched domestic title bid at the NWFL Super Six in Benin City. Before joining Rivers Angels, the Lagos-born defender also enjoyed stint at Sunshine Queens in the Nigerian topflight.

On Demehin’s acquisition, Miquel had last Thursday said: “Tosin is a young player who will continue to progress and learn with us. She already has many qualities such as her combativeness, her quality of passing and her intensity in duels, so many important assets for the team this season.”

Winning one Nigerian league title with Rivers Angels, with Miquel hoping that Demehin’s youthfulness, strong mentality and pedigree proves a major asset to her younger and solid Reims squad.

Having already forced a crucial away point at Paris FC, the Red and Whites are next set to pull off an upset against unbeaten Paris Saint Germain in the club’s sixth game of the French D1 Arkema campaign.

2016 was 6 years ago. If she is still coaching a the same level she was in 2016, without any upward mobility, then something is definitely wrong with her being the best choice for Nigeria. Pep Guardiola was an integral part of the Barca set up for many years, so there was no loss in step when he took the reigns.

Look, football has significantly evolved since 2016. Its become more competitive and more scientific. I was struck by the rampant use of technology at the recent U20 WWC, where laptops were being used on the bench of teams. Contrasting that with hearing Danjuma yell and scream instructions at his players during the course of the games, while his counterparts were more focused on the use of their laptops for deeper analysis and strategic planning during the games.

This is not personal, you can clamor all you want for whoever you want - you are well within your rights to do so. I am more focused on reality of the lack of personal growth and upward mobility. The sad truth is Omagbemi or Akide are probably more ill-equipped for the job now, as opposed to 2016. This fact should not be discountenanced or lost on us - there is hardly any Nigerian coach out there equipped for this job, considering the very limited capacity building growth they have undergone on the international stage and how far they have been left behind.

Little wonder why the Nigerian options out there have made little progress since 2016..

I don't think this is right to say Considering their Capabilities as Coaches abroad.. If they're not good enough they won't even be given the opportunity to work... If the offer doesn't come they will tend to keep the job they have doing.
Mercy didn't just became the head Coach of Regent University, Virginia. She worked her way there from the age grade level..

But one thing we all should also know is that almost all the Superfalcons players the ones of interacted with if not all likes Omagbemi and want her back.. If you're good, you're good. By the way there's no way all of them will be speaking good of her if she's not good enough...!

You missed my fore-leading point that the Federation is dirt broke.
Be it whatever currency, the coffers are completely dry.
So, its going to be dejavu with Omagbemi, regarding the reason she was initially let go - inability of the federation to pay remunerations, which led to the protest which she allegedly 'supported'.

And besides, going through what she went before, it would be odd to expect that she wouldn't want to have a contract signed in terms of lenght and remunerations, this time around. Something the federation will likely struggle to agree with.

Omagbemi was asked to work under Randy Waldrum as his Assistant but she refused, citing that she's better than been an Assistant to Randy and also didn't agree to leave her Coaching Job abroad..

At this juncture, and based on her performance at the U20 and her cameos against the World Champions US, I would place Imuran ahead of her.

Won't buy into this idea for now until Patricia George proves herself on the pitch first..

Anyway Mr Sam spoke highly of Imuran prior to the U20 World Cup and I'm beginning to see it.

'Big players', as in Okobi, Oparanozie and perhaps Chikwelu and Onome?
Well, good riddance, as they have overstayed their welcome.
They should please not let the door hit them on their way out.

Your assumption though, the players you mentioned are still big part of the team whether playing or not... By the way until any of them retires from the team, they're still a member of the Superfalcon team

Talking about bringing in the Foreign Born Players to play for the Superfalcons many of you will think Randy is the one convincing them whereas he isn't..

I personally did help with bringing in 4 of them, Discuss with them for long on how they can come in, even on how they were able to get their Nigerian Passports...

Randy Waldrum hands in all this is just 5 percent which is giving them the Call up....

I wish i can share receipt for you all to see, but i will respect every party involved...

As for those of you still Supporting Randy to continue, Goodluck is all I can say..

With 9months or more to the World Cup, We better get a new coach now and give he or her the room to succeed..

How can every body be talking bad about you, That isn't good ..

Many of us have withdrawn from Randy since the WAFCON failure. He had enough time to get a strong Squad for over a year and half, Quality friendlies, Players and all that he still couldn't deliver. He's not the Man for the Job.

Imagine Randy Waldrum Coaching the most decorated National Team in Africa on Part time basis...

Anyway he's only there because of one person who's holding things... By the end of September after the election if Randy doesn't go then there's more trouble to come...

We can't just continue attacking Randy Waldrum without attacking the head that employed him..

Again he doesn't listen to the rest Assistant only Lauren Gregg, He travel immediately after the games.
But why would Randy always refused to talk to the Superfalcons Media, imagine Randy doesn't like addressing the press pre game and after game...
