If the cost of brt fares is permanently cut down to half of what it is now will Lagos go bankrupt? I'd rather he focuses on the above and leave the wage at 70k. He's just being sensational.

It depends on how you perceive each regime.

Ambode was into infrastructures like Sanwo. He sacked the exploitative VIO and curbed the excesses of Lastma to the joy of Lagos motorists. Sanwo brought back VIO and has been lax with Lastma. Hence, the return of their recklessness on the road.

He partnered Kebbi to come up with Lake rice that was cheap, unlike Sanwo, who spent billions to build a rice mill that hasn't produced any accessible rice since it was commissioned.

To me Ambode is far more interested in people's welfare than Sanwo who has been busy playing politics with 25% discount on his ineffective Ounje Eko, Brt and Rail.

He refused to effect the minimum wage but he callously jerked up the school fees of Model Schools from 35k to 100k. Ambode would have been of better help to Lagosian than he is in this critical period.
