Christistruth03:That is not true. AD existed for many years after Tinubu formed AC. In fact, it was his exit as the only remaining governor that rendered the party weak. |
LegendHero:You are not totally correct. It's like saying nothing would have happened if APC had lost Lagos. The intimidation witnessed in Lagos then was a prelude to what would have happened if APC lost. The mild drama that followed the ruling of the Court of Appeal in Kano portended what would have happened if NNPP lost the case. Judges are humans with feelings too. Sometimes, they study the political temperature before giving their verdict. For instance, they confirmed the flaws in the election that brought Yaradua in 2007 yet they didn't remove him. Courts can only exist when the society exists. |
garfield1:It is only a political neophyte that will wish the only opposition party in the country dead because of an unreasonable love for the ruling party. Even in the business world competition favours the consumer while monopoly exposes him to exploitation. |
descartes400:The administrative sagacity of a politician is the major asset or resource needed for good governance. He handled Nigeria well during the 100-day absence of Buhari. It is just that Nigerians are too myopic to know that they should be the ones forming the needed structure without any prejudice. |
The man's statement is a metaphor for level of hardship an average Nigerian is undergoing. What you see him display is called frustration. The lots of criminals you see today are nothing but a victim of circumstance. |
Goodnewsforlife:Name one regime since 1999 that is not culpable of looting. If there is none, then the regime that looted but rid Nigeria of debt and left a yet-to-beaten size of foreign reserve is still the best so far. |
Marvieduke:During Obasanjo regime 1999_2007, Nigeria achieved a zero debt status. I don't see any president achieving that feat again in but I pray that I'm proved wrong. |
Goodnewsforlife:Obasanjo left a debt-free Nigeria and a robust foreign reserve. |
LordBEGGINSTEIN:The Man is an investigative journalist. He had already graduated and served years back. He only did this to help us expose the extent of rot in the Nigerian system. |
[Don't be a killjoy. Learn how to celebrate success. Hollywood did not get to where it is in one day. Nollywood is improving. You have just chosen not to see it.quote author=UncleKoboko post=127708149]Guys and men that goes to the cinema to see Nollywood movies, HOW DO YOU GUYS DO IT? Nollywood movies that mostly lacks quality and action. With their poor storyline and mostly predictable. They just usually sit in the living room or bedroom to TALK in most of their movies ![]() Siddon talk film [/quote] |
The heading was framed as if it was a court verdict. However I'll love to see these lawmakers lose their seats as stipulated by our constitution. An average Nigerian politician needs a deterrent to discard his toga of habitual impunity. |
A misunderstanding between husband and wife is always a delicate issue that can result in a mess if not discreetly handled. Women are naturally emotional and they're adept at using this quality to either escalate a little issue or win any family member to their side, especially their under-aged children or full-grown but psychologically immature children. A Woman is so emotionally powerful that she can manipulate her husband against his own family members or his childhood friend or even tested and trusted business associate. This child is fully grown but he's obviously not mature enough to handle the skirmish between his parents. Hence he became a victim of this parental feud. Cases such as this abound in today's society without us knowing. We only know this because Emeka is a celebrity and he also brought it to a public domain. It is only married people that can relate. My prayers are with the Emeka Ikes. |
mu2sa2:Just imagine a football match without a referee and his assistants. |
Melagros:How is this so? Please explain. |
This is hypocrisy at the highest level. Jonathan didn't pass the buck of subsidy removal according to you. He actually removed it at the beginning of year 2012 but the duo of Tinubu and Tunde Bakare forced him to reverse the decision using the Occupy Nigeria Protest. If he was allowed then the stability you mentioned would have been long achieved before now. Secondly, I am shocked to hear you talk about Buhari PATCHING things up during his regime. Why didn't you voice this out then? All of you in the ANC sect of APC kept mute then because of Tinubu's ambition. This is really painful and it makes me take the PATIENCE you are rallying for this government detestable as it might be another ruse. |
Reading some of the sarcastic comments here is forcing me to ask who stripped most of us our empathetic nature. It's inhumane to jest with another person's predicament. When a fool keeps silent he'll be mistaken for a wise person. You don't have to display yourself as an indiscreet talker everywhere. OP you might need to see a physiotherapist before considering a surgery. |
Emefiele spent his tenure serving in the same APC government you are speaking for right now. Ironically your government pushed the issue of corruption in our faces then as a cancer that must not spread. How then was it not possible to detect all these 'Emefiele's fraudulent practices'. The APC spent more than its first 5 years in office blaming the PDP for the Nigerian woes. Unfortunately, the current APC government is wickedly and hypocritically treating Emefiele's case in isolation. I'll love to see the Buhari government dragged by this government before I can believe this is not a case of persecution against the one who is believed to have worked against the emergence of the current President. |
