Oh... You are one of those "I am Yoruba but". No wonder you failed to see the monster called Osinbajo for what he truly is.

I am a northerner and a Muslim, so we don't have any thing in common
Of course, we don't, and we never can. The last thing I will do on any medium is to insult anyone whose view does not align with mine. Life is interesting because human beings express divergent views. Imagine how vapid and jejune life will be if we all sleep with the same posture and facing the same direction.

stuffs2002:
Your hypocrisy stinks.

Osinbajo was probably the biggest bigot to have ever been in the presidency.

Osinbajo was not efficient in anyway. He was only a very anti Islamic person who used his position as acting president to attack and remove Muslims holding sensitive positions and replaced them with RCCG pastors. Go back and look at all the people Osinbajo appointed were all pastors at RCCG even to the extent of traditional ruler that he influenced their appointments were all RCCG pastors.

Osinbajo said it on national TV that he will ensure Christianity is spread all over the country.

You keep lying to yourself that you don't care about religion but still goes ahead to defend religious bigotry. Your claim that Christianity dominates in Igboland which is why there are no Muslim deputy governors but is Islam not also the dominant religion in the north? Yet you are crying that there are no Christian deputy governors in the north. This is not even true because there are governors and deputy governors in the north who are Christians

You can't take a fraction of what you want to dish out

The Hausa man that pasted posters for councillor in the south east was thoroughly insulted for daring to paste poster in the south east yet Igbos want to be governor in Lagos state
Going through your diction shows that you are educated but you, unfortunately, lack the moral ethics to engage in an argument without insulting the personality involved. In your two rejoinders, you used the word "hypocrisy" and "lie" in the second one. Check out my two posts and point out where I used any insulting word. You don't even know how old I am. You can pass your message without being insulting.

Check my first comment to see where I mentioned Taraba and Plateau as states practising Christian-Christian system. Aren't they in the North?

Learn not to be too emotional when discussing the Nigerian politicians and their politicking. They are not worth dying for. For your information, if I ever want to vote, I'll go for Sowore because of what he says about how governance should be or Babangana Zulum (if he declares interest) because of what he has done in Borno despite the place being the headquarters to terrorists. Yet, I am a Christian Yoruba.

stuffs2002:
Just look at your hypocrisy.

You attack Tinubu for doing Muslim - Muslim tickets but don't see anything wrong with south east 100% Christian - Christian tickets
I don't think there's any south-east states where the Christian population is less than 95%. So, it's a matter of which religion is predominant in each state. In Nigeria as a whole is the Muslim population predominant like that? Emphatic no! That's why his choice is being criticised.
As I said in my earlier post, this choice is a political strategy! No more, no less. We all witnessed the competence of Oshinbajo when Buhari was sick. I remember one PDP stalwart saying on the television that Buhari should stay where he was while Oshinbajo should continue. In which capacity has Shettima demonstrated competence?

Mind you, l'm not a fan of religion first in everything. I choose capacity. This Tinubu's move is a political strategy at this time when his popularity in the North is waning. A Christian Vice will draw the anger of the North against him.

stuffs2002:
How many South east states have Muslims even as deputy governor?

There is Christian - Christian tickets in all the 5 Igbo states
This is a wrong analogy. The states in the north-east and north-west also operate Muslim-Muslim tickets. It is a matter of religious predominance. I think Taraba and Plateau also operate same faith tickets.

However, this should be different at the national level, to give a sense of socio-political balance. By the way, I'm not a fan of religion over competence, but this Tinubu's move is a political strategy rather than competency.

Anyone saying Nigeria should take over MTN and nationalise it or force the sale of the company to a Nigerian should not forget that we have a purely Nigerian company in the Telecoms sector as well. A company that prefers spending money on celebrities than improving its quality of service. That company is Glo. Can we confidently say Glo can be as reliable as MTN?

Aside from the valid point you raised, we also need to ask ourselves what happened to Etisalat shortly after Nigerians took over the ownership and changed the name to 9mobile. Nationalisation my foot!

Everybody should no be vigilant about security of their immediate environment. If you see something, say something

All these fake imported religions have destroyed the normal mental processes of a lot of our people.

If you are following any of the two religion, you should know for fact that:

There is no heaven, there is no hell, there is no God (or god), there is no Allah, there are no angels, there are no demons, there are no spirits, there is no life after death, juju don't work, there is no eternal judgment, there is no karma, there was no historical Jesus. All those are figment of human imaginations and tools use by a very few some to control the very many others. The earlier you understand and accept these facts as facts, the happier and merrier your life and existence will be.

The religion you're currently claiming is the religion of your parents, if you were born into a different family of another religion (say Hinduism), that is the exact religion you will practice.

You were born without a religion in you, your factory reset has no religion in it. If you were to be a phone and they do factory reset on you today being a phone, there will not be anything found related to religion in your settings, files and file systems anymore; you learn religion only after your birth growing up.

Islam is idolatry and paganism, Christianity aswell is idolatry - All the world religion is idolatry, including all the Abrahamic religion. Holy communion is idolatory, bowing for a stone call Kaaba of the Bedouin tribes is also idolatory, killing of rams is idolatory, kissing or licking of a stone at mecca is idolatory, throwing of stone at pilgrimage is idolatory too.

Infact, Illah is what the Arabic call God and not Allah. Allah was one of the diety been worshiped before the invention of Islam. That is why muslims will say something like "la ilah ila huwa" meaning Allah is one Illah (God). Have you ask yourself why Prophet Mohammed's father who was an idol worshiper and who lived before the invention of islam has Allah in is name Abdullai== Abdu Allah? It is because Allah has been an idol worshiped by paganists before the Prophet received his revelations.

Nakedly circumambulations of the Kaaba, annual prigrimage to mecca, kissing of black stone, bowing towards the stone (stone worship) are all preislamic pagan practises by the nomadic Bedouin tribe and the same is what they still practice today.

All Abrahamic religion are idolatory, they only package them well and condemn your heritage as evil, whereas, Nigeria was better in terms of morality, honesty and integrity before they brought the foreign religions.

In peace loving, emotional intelligence, love for neighbors, respect for sanctity of life, we are even better than those who brought those religion with primitive leaders and prophets whose morality and characters are highly questionable.

Release yourself today from the shackles of religion. Stop wasting away your life and existence!

If you like, allow one illiterate alfa, imam or pastor to be telling you "you will go to hell". When you die, your dead experience will be like the same experience you had before your conception (pregnancy) ie. There is nothing like afterlife. Or where were you before your mother gave birth to you?
I'm struggling so hard to find a correlation between the subject matter of this post and your submission.

That is not true. Jonathan's era seemed worse because of the virulent opposition played then by the APC.
Fortunately for the APC, the current opposition is scattered, dumb and laid back. If not so, the current situation of the country security wise and economically, is more than enough for a virile opposition to put Nigeria on a standstill worse than Occupy Nigeria in 2012.

If the opposition cannot get to work and up their game, then it’s a solo run for His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) in 2027.

The opposition does not even exist and only baselessly attacking the president is the ONLY thing that gets them into the headlines.

2027 will be the fairest and freest election in the history of the world as the opposition technically and practically do not exist.
The death of opposition in any democracy is a breeding ground for totalitarianism and absolute power. An absolute power in the custody of any democrat will naturally turn him into a dictator. Opposition is the livewire of democracy because it provides the possibility of having a choice for the PEOPLE.

When a ruling party sees a virile opposition, they know that the people have an option. It is only in Nigeria that opposition parties are classified as enemies of the government rather than a means of sustaining democracy.

The best means to weigh intentions is through the words spoken. Words are so important a means of identification that a fool who always keeps quiet will be mistaken for a wise person. There is no justification for speaking recklessly. Woke goofed.

I don't know how old you are but let me clarify that all the Nigerian media practitioners including Bayo Onanuga, PBAT's current spokesman, were in-apolitical during the terrific reign of Abacha. A brilliant journalist must be able to backup his summary speech after any interview with a thought-provoking statement that will set everyone concerned thinking. That was what Seun did.

Even if this regime is able to please over ninety percent of Nigerians it will still be dangerous to put every opposition group or party to death. If we the southerners keep quiet now because Tinubu is our own then we must also keep mum after 2031 when the north will be taking over and they do the same or even worse. What goes around comes around.

If you are not productive, whatever any effects in the price of goods and services, be ready for it to have much toll on you and if you like continue blaming the government, so as how you will blame till old age except you do something early which is now
The tone of your comment is too harsh. Every Nigerian can never have the opportunity of being a producer. The facilities needed for the possibility of thriving in the industrial sector, small or large scale, such as stable and affordable power, loans and accessibility to raw materials are not there, even for those who are interested in the sector.
How then can you now warn everyone to go productive if they don't want to risk a bleak future. Both service and productive sectors are important in any balanced and well-governed nation.
Besides, the current curriculum of education is more theoretical than being practical. Why has the government failed to launch another one that will support productive skills in the Nigerian students being churned out for the meaningless NYSC scheme year after year?

Finally, that you are probably lucky with a productive business doesn't mean everyone will find it that easy. If the government wipes out insecurity, provides good roads and finds a way of reducing the cost of fuel, food inflation will reduce drastically.
PoliticsRe: If Obi Can’t Guarantee Bank Transfers, Why Demand INEC Real-Time Results? - Reno by Scholarforlife: 5:32am On Feb 11
There's nothing glorifying in what Reno said. Is it a bad thing if the biggest black nation on the Earth pioneers electronic and real time transfer of election results in Africa?
This method is the only guarantee for a free, fair and credible election in a Nigeria where all the current politicians including the current President are ready to sacrifice any member of their families in order to protect their political status.
We the south-westerners are in support of this electoral stagnation because the odds are in favour Bola Tinubu without the electronic transfer.
In years to come after Tinubu might have gone, if the political permutations are against the South, especially the south westerners, most of us will be doing what Obi is doing now including the all-knowing Reno. Then, the struggle for what should have been done and dusted now will become renewed. This is exactly why Nigeria is still stagnant in many areas. Our struggle for any attempt at national development is always myopic and tribalistic. No nation moves forward with these optics.
