Today, I stand to lose all that I have worked for! Not that it's worth it but for the fact that it took me time, it happens to be a thing of joy, regrets and uncertainties! Do you know why? It is because those knew I was into the deal are expecting a great testimony from me but here I am wishing I could turn back the hands of the clock to say that I am sorry for even starting in the first place but now, I believe there is hope.

I don't think that Nigerians are ready to hear any more motivational speech nor are there people out there who are willing to give one because it seems the atrocities of the cabals have been exposed. As expected, nobody is talking about it. So, let's wallow in our own created mirage and hopelessness knowing that in 2027, a lot of people will still be voting what put us into what we are now because it seems we have mastered self-pity.

So, if you are out there wondering what Nigeria is turning into, I want to tell you that it's not a new thing! We live in a country where people belittle their neighbours, talk to people anyhow and make assumptions about people based on colour, language or religious infiltration all in a bid to appear better but deep down, they blame politicians for everything.

Politicians are not the worst people on Earth but they deserve what they are getting because all eyes is on them! That said, I want to say that I am sorry for not being able to tell you whether it's gonna rain today or not but in the meanwhile, I can vividly tell you that if you can let peace reign, you won't regret it on the long run.

Ladies and gentlemen, things have turned upside down and people sure know how to laugh while doing the wrong thing! We won't say we don't know the way, we simply don't want to follow it. Do you know why? It's because there are intelligent brains in Nigeria and if we want to fix it we can but in a situation whereby everybody has equal rights and access to opportunities, the rich will not be respected any longer! So, they know what they are doing.

However you want to take this message do but remember it's not a poem. So, while you are critically thinking, remember there are positions up there for Engineers, Marketers, Cleaners, Pastors, Imans, Businessmen and Businesswomen, Lawyers etc and not just for Politicians! So, do your best and leave the rest for God.

One of the books my uncle wrote can leave you scared for the rest of your life! Honestly, people say don't judge a book by its cover but if you see this book, you will start running.

On the day that I mistakenly opened it, I vomited three times but he didn't care! He said I was even lucky that the copy I had was meant for children. That I needed to be upto 49 years before I could read the one meant for adults. I wanted to run for my dear life but he said that I didn't need to worry because everything he wrote in the book happened in another world.

Of all the crazy things that ever happened to me in life, trying to explain to my mother that her brother was diabolic comes top of them! Do you know why? It's because she loved him so much that she wouldn't take any negative comment about him.

Now, I was in my First year when I discovered that things were not moving well for me. So, I wondered if my uncle had used me to shine in his spirit world but I had no concrete evidence with which to nail him. So I kept quiet.

Some of my friends bought things and sold in the hostel and always received phone calls from home but I was just there, hoping for a better tomorrow without knowing that APC had no room for mercy should they come on board! Soon, they came and the rest became a story for another day.

Every day, I wake up from the wrong side of the bed hoping that I would receive a piece of good news but I never did. At a point, I turned to God for answers but I simply couldn't understand the Bible because it condemned us from day one saying that we carried the sin of Adam! The painful part was that my uncle rarely went to church yet he was flourishing.

There was a time I fell sick and I was hoping that a lot of people would call me on phone to wish me a speedy recovery but some did while some didn't! In fact, when my uncle stopped seeing my incoming calls in his phone, he was so overjoyed that he went to the church for thanksgiving! During the whole thing, he told them that God had taken away his burdens and they were clapping for him.

When I later went back to his house after I was healed, I found out that he was using me as an example to teach people around his neighbourhood! Honestly, I was perplexed.

A man who never saw me as someone that he could help, found places in his texts to cite me as an example. In one of those books, he wrote,

"... When the harvest becomes meagre, people like Imiano would go to any length to prove their worth by practicing mixed cultivation technique."

When I asked him, Uncle why are you doing this to me?

He said, I am trying to take your name far so that it could help you in the future.

"Please, don't take my name far. Just help me presently. " I told him but he ignored me.

When his wife came into the sitting room to know what was happening, he told her that he had concluded plans to allow me inherit his mini sowing machine whenever I wanted.

Honestly, I thought it was a joke but in my very before, my uncle's wife gave him a peck for being so kind-hearted!

When I was growing up, my mother told me that she carried me in her womb for 13 months and when I asked her why, she said that some evil people in the land wouldn't want me to be born. Unfortunately for her, she never knew that her younger brother was one of them.

Yes, he looked harmless and peaceful but whenever he walked, you would perceive a deadly wolf in him if you had a spiritual eye. At a point, my mom took me and two of my siblings to his house for holidays while she returned to face her business but I can assure you that those 2 months I spent in his house were the worst moments of my life.

I really don't know how he managed to explain this to people but he said his two kids are not ordinary! One was magnetic while the other was waterproof and they kept winning awards at different competitions. The good thing is, the mother was not always available.

At a point, I felt like a failure because I had never won any award in my life! So, I wished I could just fly in order to outshine them. It is said that God creates but my uncle manufactures! I don't know the name of the Chinese or Indian factories that produced those babies for him but he sure knew how to operate them.

Few days after returning from my uncle's house since the holidays were over, I started having nightmares and when my mom asked us, I hope you enjoyed your holidays?

We kindly told her, Please, change that your brother. She was shocked but we maintained our stance.

Change him or else, he will change us! We yelled in unison.

I plan to start this, then run away without finishing it as a sign of protest against the Nigerian government but seeing that protests hardly yield results, I will limit how I talk.

Of course, it happened in Nigeria! When children were sleeping and the women wondered if their husbands are still sensitive to human plights, my uncle arose in his old regalia to torment me. Being a man of many means, he had bribed a lot of people to support him in his wickedness against me.

This was the same man that wanted me to be a good role model to his children but I refused! Do you know why? It's because I manage to feed! Yes, a hungry man is an angry man.

There was a day he brought a camera and he told me to smile so that he could take a photograph of me, I now asked him, What for? He said they would be using it to attract more donors to their social endeavors! Something like that.

I later found out that he took money from wealthy individuals and promised to better the lives of people in the streets but seeing there were no results, he decided to use my picture as a proof. Uncle Kpomiri, na you do this one.

To rubbish another man's work is to first rubbish one's judgemental stance because if the senses are normal, the tenses will be accurate. There is no tomorrow when we are talking about whether there will be war or not.

What matters is now and how we can get the victory we seek. Those who live to tell the story are either those who ran to hide or those who fought effortlessly. Whichever way, when there are casualties on both sides, the primary aim of the duel is laid to rest.
