The problem is how many of the political holders got their positions through the right means and most especially, by their personal efforts? I think none. Our INEC is not functioning well and even if INEC is working, we Nigerians are not ready to make the right things to occur in this country. We all have ulterior motives to serve and to protect. What am saying is that, most people up there got there via a tortuous means which involved many people's sacrifices and largesse and this always has a price: scratch my back and I will scratch yours. So when they assume such juicy positions, they try settling their cronies. Moreso, many of these civil servants working currently, considering how strenuous it was for them to get their jobs, would want their relatives not to pass through such and as such would infiltrate any genuine efforts in making recruitment free and fair. Or come to think of it, if you were to conduct the same recruitment and your child who left school for 3 years past and is at home doing actually nothing, would you not quickly insert his or her name? The issue is that the system of Nigeria is bad. There is massive unempolyment and as such, every job vacancy is an hot cake, a free-for-all fight, a survival for the fittest and a jungle where man is a wolf to man. This cruel fact is met with a bad leadership of the country. Come to think of it, can anything good come from something bad? I don't think so. My bro., the only thing that you can do to salvage the situation is to engage in the fight and try to use every object within your reach to win the fight. That is, try using every means you can to get the FG JOB and after getting it, work to the zenith of your career, the stage you can conduct a massive recruitment, it is only that time you can bring to light this desire of yours. But am afraid if you can succeed conducting a free and fair recruitment with the pressure of 160 million Nigerians breathing down your neck. Thanks

Omo see gwobe.wat in my write up indicates I hate the north. . That I said the north practiced northernisation policy wen nigeria opted for indigenisation after independence is common knowledge. I was just pointing out the obvious.indigenisation was adopted to make nigerians take over the civil service and other sectors of the nation.however,the criteria for such takeover was merit.the south, west and east had a plethora of graduates but the north didn't. The policy was a by product of Gowon.but just like he adviced northerners not to kill igbos or seize their properties after the war and they complied partially but niger deltans didnt,the northerners refused to allow a non northerner take over anytin in the north and asked that wia a northerner wit merit is not available, the expatriates should continue till a norther replacement comes.that was called northernisation policy .how does pointing out this or using it as a reference mean being tribalistic and indicating that I hate the north.pls don't judge me wrongly

if I hear u mention retired directors and judges and Justices.make I hear word.u for mention ex governors, noble laureates,top musicians and bishops of Canterbury .make I hear word.justices and ex directors my foot.there is a law about fed govt recruitment in Nigeria.a pervert law but one necessary to prevent minority domination.and enhance equitable distribution of resources. It's called federal character.it makes use of quotas. Just like in university admission process in fed govt universities called catchment quotas.there is even a federal character commission saddled with the responsibility of ensuring this happens. Theyv done enough already cos dey have been putting people in civil defence,ministry of nddc,aviation,police, detective dss,refugees commission, population commission etc without doin any advert.the commission saddled wit this does it at times without even the public knowing.they liase with the national assembly not the the executive or judiciary and share the slots according to senatorial zones.and it's the national assembly that submits names of people from the zones the represent not the justice and judiciary or rtd directors. Ministers only have chances since dey can influence the Nat assembly to include their candidate. Or influence the fed character commission. If all the ministers and judges and rtd directors have slots then my friend we shud all go start sleeping at the gate of our state members of the arms of government and have them put our names in their lists so we cannot go to work straight from their gates wen our names come out
