all I'm saying is its time they allowed a true test for employment. Let them stop politicising the whole tin all times.why is every fed job like dat now.is it supposed to be so.y isn't merit any longer in the criteria.why can't the ordinary man that worked hard to achieve distinction and be able to prove himself true to the cert not be given a chance.it was not so b4.thats y the north adopted northernisation policy in post colonial times as their preference to indigenisation.they had no people wit merits so they allowed expatriates to keep manning the post rather than a non northern nigerian.look wia it had brought us today.wats de use of goin to school and suffering ur heads out if it's washing cars and kissing Ass of godfathers that will give u a job.its hateful. Once in a while the fg shud at least do a recruitment dat will be open only to ordinary citizens able to defend themselves by true tests.

problem is its not the senate but national assembly. That's three senators and 6 house of Representative in some states.even of they were to give by only senatorial zone and use only the upper house, there is stil de state DG and de governors.or will dey stand down? Unless it's an APC governor.

They can politicise the detective cadre but make the cadets merit.i submit that that is de best way to improve our security apparatus.

u aren't right about NIA.it is very different from sss or DIA.NIA is like American CIA and sss like their NSA.NIA is like Israeli MOSSAD and sss their shin bet.NIA is like British SIS otherwise known as M16 and sss like their M15.their duties doesn't overlapp nor interlope.one is foreign and the other internal.and for ur info Jack bauer in an interview after season 8 said he wishes to be killed in the movie though that he loves wat he does.in that he was even tired of his undying fictitious role.as for u saying chloe wasn't in operations,every security service has departments.in the defunct USSR KGB their was wet affairs dept which was de operations and there was de intelligence dept.field work is operations and it doesn't include data analyses but data gathering.likewise there is de torture of criminals area.not everyone fits into that.but yes I mean u shud relate to nigeria context but also exclude fictitious excapades.007 has his gadget,including a non human driven car that talks and even changes into boat in seas.my dear why waste time wit such.ud be so disappointed If u join sss wit such notions.ul find de owl rather than the Cockerell waking u up to hard reality.

I.T is international training, you will be sent abroad to learn how to interact with agents like Jack Bauer, James bond and James Bourne. These agents were heroes in the late 19 century. Google and study them to know more... and prepare for your I.t

Muhammed marwa maititsine, Ustaz yussuf,the shortcomings of N.S.O,the defunct research department,special branch,etc and such movies pertaining real security histories in naija and learn from them on the nigeria context.watching Sci fi movies and how to dodge machine gun bullets without odeshi isn't goin to be of any use.u will not even be allowed to be running around like an actor in sss cos in sss there is no actor rather team players,u will be put down and dismissed if u try to endanger the life of a team member while trying to be a hero.rather u can also read James Hadley chase and such novels only with a view to learning how to solve mysteries not how to shoot people up.besides sss is different from N.I.A so u won't be in espionage or spy biz.thats for them.soon sss people might even start wearing uniform at the rate they are converting from suits to black jean and cap and polo.and carrying big guns.the imi tavor tar 21.and de Fn f2000 rifles as if they are special forces.forget jack bauer.have u watched him in pompeii.u will end ur fantasy of him if u watch the movie.he was a big villain there.as for Idolizing 007. If u emulate his character of sleeping with an agent lady in every mission,ul be thrown out of the job so fast ur head will be turning.so get off those fantasies and get real.

[color=#990000][/color]bearing in mind dat federal character and quota systems always pervade any federal employment and as such having it as common knowledge that the ten wanted out of each state can never be strictly from merit and dat a large percentage will go to I.M and dat it will never be 50%.I then hereby say that this info is for those that made 1st to 3rd position in the exam and their runner up in their senatorial zone.if u are in that category u can email me for a private chat or just easier start playing safe or zipping up and also go for general test now to have ur test cert ready aforehand.And also disregard those telling u ur slot is up for sale and dat DSS doesn't have regard for merit.But bear in mind dat the only person competing wit u now is ur runner up and his runner up and only medicals can disqualify u and create chance for him.suffice it to say u shud stay away from that ur runner up as he may have no good thoughts for u.I drop my biro.now for those that this info isn't for,kindly disregard dis message and don't trow any invectives at me and keep ur fingers of ur key pad If it's to quote me in this thread.

I see DSS agents theses days and I keep asking myself one question huh

.y is it they so much like to wear the outfit of assorted black costumes.some wear face cap and some papas. Even some wear title black cap.I ask myself the question.are they actually indirectly desiring a uniform like the police and other para military..If they do y not tell the govt.this is the same costume that SARS police people used to wear that made the I.G then say they dress like armed robbers.just my thoughts though
