duni04: You're part of a tribe of scoundrels, thieves, kidnappers, drug-pushers and fraudsters. Nigerians are vilified in India, China, Vietnam, South Africa, Thailand, Kenya, Indonesia, Zambia, Spain, Portugal and all over Eastern Europe, because of the criminal antics of the Igbo race. You people are born criminals! You're born with so much evil in your hearts, exemplified by this Nnamdi Kanu fellow. A man who smuggled illegal materials into the country like almost all igbo men do. A man who we all saw on camera, soliciting for weapons to shed innocent blood. A man who abandoned his 8 month pregnant wife in the UK to consort with prostitutes in Festac Lagos where he was caught. It is no surprise at all that this same man has become the hero of a tribe of criminals, thieves and kidnappers. There is a popular saying that a pack of thieves can never appoint a priest as its head, they will appoint a thief like themselves to head them. The Igbo tribe of South Eastern Nigeria has appointed Nnamdi Kanu as the head of the tribe. Its no surprise at all. If truly they are evil people, why don't you want them to have their Biafra At least, they won't soil the name of Nigeria again |

Austin4lif: Being very fluent in hausa language, sometimes in 20 13, i meet a fulani man at uwani enugu state. I asked him were are you from? He said he is frm enugu state. Why? Because his parents settled in Enugu for donkey years. I begin to imagine the millions of fulanis we have as indigenes in Enugu and am very sure most igbos dnt kn any this development. Fulani people fight for dominance wish the have achieved in southern kaduna. in 50 years time there will be an emirate in igboland because the already have their sarki' in various parts of igbos. OP is very wrong for you to state or attempt saying that hausa/fulanis are part of southern kaduna. The jamaa emirate is illegal. the Hausa/fulanis in southern kaduna are settlers. It will be also interested to tell you that the fulani herdsmen dnt attack the Hausa Fulani settlement in southern kaduna and most at times the use it as an escape route. it is very unbiase to state that the Hausa/fulanis are following the foot step of the first terrorist in Nigeria (othman dan fodio). In 5000 years, we will never accept any indigene status of Fulani in Igboland. Take it to the bank that my words are right |

OmaniPadmeHum: Nice and welcome. As a county we need to invest more in Science and Tech, and Education/Research. But the little we have discovered, what have we done with it.
What have we done with all the Research institutes before now? How have they benefited the common Nigerian? In Nigeria we have companies that can produce APCs for the Police and the Army. If we wanted, we could fabricate guns and even design our own specialized Rifles and Machine Guns. We would rather import an inflate contracts and prices.
How have we been able to engineer products and services that will satisfy the Nigerian and West African Market to start with? Do we have good comparative advantage?
Anyway, time covers but also establishes many things. Let us not complain much. BrokenTV: Abeg make we produce car finish before venturing into Aircraft. BUT This approach by government is a very wrong approach Government shouldn't invest public funds into Research and Development = A study done by US government in the early 1900s Government should rather partner with the private sector to commercialize and industrialize any indigenous technology that is as good as any international similar technology and grant those industries tax incentives and preferential treatment over foreign products. Innoson car manufacturing plant should be tax exempted or pay half its normal tax in order to help it produce cheaper cars compare to imported cars |
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Join Aircraft Producing Nations: Minister Of Aviation by ScotsReferendum: 5:04pm On Jan 08, 2017 |
Wrong direction
The government should rather challenge private citizens , organizations, universities, companies, etc to develop an indigenous aeroplane with an agreement to finance through public private partnership the mass production of their innovations once it meets international standard
Government job is not to sponsor research with its personal money but to recognize & reward research works and connect them to public private investments
Government sponsored research works end up in private pockets unlike private research works. |

bettercreature: If you were able to give this sugestion, you should be able to explain the corruption at the state level You need to give me one example of developed country in africa You don't know anything, you can not fight corruption in africa,it will fight back The whole system is corrupt and nothing can be done about it Another way to phase out corruption in africa is through authocratic rule, which mean you must come through coup, sack all politician with immediate effect, choose your team and create new laws Size of Government is different from level of Government Size of Government means a situation where government does everything. When government reduces its unnecessary engagements , less taxes are collected. When less taxes are collected, government becomes less attractive to corruption due to less money Now to your question Do States in Nigeria have big government.? To me, it is yes. Rochas Okorocha introduced free education increasing the size of government. Remember Europe and US used to have corrupt governments Remember French revolution , Lenin revolution , Spanish civil war etc Government basic responsibilities are to give directions/targets and rewards those who move towards that directions/targets. Government duty is not to do everything as if it is God. |
