He is not nightmare of Afonja or anybody.
Most of the pro-Biafran should do a reality check.
1) Biafra is too dependent on the Zoo!
2) Biafra will depend on the Zoo for its electricity. Egbin ,Papalanto and Omotosho thermal Stations produce about 50% of the electricity generation presently while Kanji and Shiroro hydroelectric Stations in Niger State generate about 25%.
Which thermal or hydroelectric power stations is on Biafran soil?
3) Biafra will have to be buying electricity at international rates (where will they get Forex?) and the Zoo can decide not to 'export' electricity
4) Biafra may be in darkness until they are able to build coal fired power stations which will not be feasible overnight.
5) Biafra CANNOT refine or export crude oil within it's border.
It will take sometimes to build refineries, so expect unprecedented fuel scarcity.
6)Biafra will need Meat, leather, pepper, onions, groundnuts and other agricultural produce from the North.
7) Biafra will need sea ports either in the south south or s/west.
cool...In short,Biafra will still depend on its neighbours either as Nigeria or Niger-delta or Oduduwa Republics so grow up bro and stop insulting other Nigerians, we are more interdependent or even interrelated than you, Nnamdi KANU or IPOB think or acknowledge.
You make me laugh

While those who liked your post are bunch of clowns

Biafra will never import through Lagos.

I think you are missing the point. Most Asian countries have been way ahead during the reign of Emperors and these countries were advanced before the wars. They didn't just start after the war.

Denmark prides herself in milk and pastry production and is one of the largest food force in the world. France boasts of her wineries and cuisines and remains the dream of food lovers all over the world. Science and technology is one aspect of the human life and does not necessarily account for the all-in-all development of man. It's like saying countries without oil would struggle as there would be no easy trade. The emboldened is crassly wrong. The same Japan you drool over is present experiencing stagnation and there are reports that her economy is shrinking. This is a country with great feats in the technology world. So what then is happening? Every facet of human growth and development has its strengths just as its weaknesses.
Japan's economy is declining because the population of old people is increasing while that of young people is decreasing. in other words, Japan's population is aging

Did u just say IGR don't determine the wealth of a state, okay what economic indices will you use to judge the wealth of a state? because I do know that the stats of states GDP are not well documented in Nigeria.

If ebonyi state generates more IGR than anambra it means for that year it did better than anambra not that its richer. Its the state reserves that tell how much power the state has in its purse, GDP figure would also tell us a lot but since we don't have that states we make use of these two readily available ones.

Anambra didn't ask for bail out fund and u think its because the state is wealthy in natural resources or because most of their indigenes are enterprenuers? Do u even read news stall or u just login to argue?

Peter obi the ex governor left enough funds in the states treasury, saved up enough that help obiano start on a good foot. it was the savings built up that help obiano survive the trying times, same reason APC keep castigating Pdps lack of willpower to save.

Dude most Nigerian state cannot survive without FGs presence, without stable electricity or good roads and security or even higher taxation, it will take yeaaaaarss for most states to generate revenue that will make them self sufficient
IGR - Expenses = Revenue

Look at these 2 scenarios

1). IGR(#1000) - Expenses(#990)= Revenue (#10)

2) IGR(#100) - Expenses(#10)= Revenue (#90)

scenario 1 is Ogun state

scenario 2 is Anambra state

Where is Anambra IGR? What happened to it? Obiano don carry am shackup, right? cheesy At least Ebonyi still generated small and has been sincere enough to admit it can't survive without Federation allocation. Anambra is even WORSE off because it didn't even generate Nada! Even the state that collected bailout can at least pay back over time coz they are generating money internally but Anambra didn't even generate N1 last year!!!. Not even N1, and you still get mouth to talk?? Devil punish you.
Anambra state is not owing salaries unlike some states that has high IGR and can't pay salaries

That tells you that she can sustain herself

people just come here to talk about generating more revenue and I ask how? do you tax people that are downtrodden? states like Lagos and Ogun are increasing their IGR because they could. how do you tax people in Ebonyin, Ekiti and the likes? I have been in govt and I know all these things are not easy. its easier from the outside. when you take a look at party politics, who to appoint, the structure of the cabinet and all, it takes a large chunk of your revenue and you are left with nothing else to take care of infrastructure and investment.

Then others talk about technology. The truth is we are not a technically oriented people and we should stop comparing ourselves with japan and China. its not just going to change with Biafra. you dont become japan immediately you get biafra or O'dua republic. you still remain nigerians with different nationality this time around. your corruption, crime and orientation still remains the same. secession is good, but do not expect much from it.

The problem of Nigeria is inbred in our culture and nothing can save us, not restructuring or secession.
If you want idea on how to build a technological education in 8years, just ask for it instead of saying we aren't technically gifted.

No states receive allocations as high as the "so-called" Biafra Region

And sadly there is nothing to show for it.

Which brings me to my question; After Restructuring, will there be any difference?
Check the Local government allocation to understand how the North loots the South

I stared at your post for about thirty seconds as I couldn't believe someone would be so dull to bring Japan into the discourse. Japan is a country driven by technology. Besides that, it is a country with a staggering literacy rate of 99% as published by Knoema. Compare this to the South East whereby most males struggle to round off there secondary school education before boarding the next Peace Mass Transit bus to Lagos in search of a greener pasture.

Other than Dangote and Eleganza, no Nigerian manufacturing country has managed to think outside the box.

Please indulge me, mention one state in the South East wherein Technology Education is taught. Compare and contrast the literacy rate of Japan to the entire South East then consciously bring up the the total IGR of the South East and see how stùpid you sound. My dear, it is not by blowing hot.
You are talking to one who knows how to erect Technological Education in 8years.

It is just making up one's mind not to steal money but channel it into providing technological education

My friend, calm down and use your brain. The popularity of Nnamdi Kanu is irrelevant in how reality plays out. Buhari was once popular, now he's being cursed across the length and breadth of Nigeria. All it will take to call for Nnamdi Kanu's head is massive hunger in the land should Biafra be established.

A sitting governor is expressing reality on ground and you're talking about popularity as if you're arguing about Davido and Wizkid.

When Ebonyi people get hungrier under Biafra as they surely would, Nnamdi Kanu demystification would be swifting than the fall of the naira the past two years.
You are as dull as the governor

Thought as much. So you'd expect me to wield a magic wand and expect that development happens out of the blue?

The transformation and growth of a state largely depends on the number of foreign investors attracted to the state and not in commissioning bridges and flyovers! What is wrong with you people? What measures are on ground to assure investors that there would be a short term ROIs?

I hear this Africa leaders, science and technology bullshit from you guys yet we struggle as a country to produce pencils! Pencils!!! Our toothpicks are still being imported and last I checked, there is no single toothpick producing company in the South East and you are day dreaming science and technology and harnessing the power of the cosmos.

The entire South East contribution is only 6%, beating the NE by just 2%. Where would the bulk of the state's government come from in a state as Enugu where civil servants constitute almost 85%? How then do you transform Ebonyi in eight years without accruing debts while maintaining the balance?

I used to think I suck at Economics but the bulk of you on here are just crass dull.
See your words below

" .......The transformation and growth of a state largely depends on the number of foreign investors attracted to the state....." Sanchez

Let me ask you one question

Do you think Japan became a great nation by depending on foreign investors.?

Do you think Germany was rebuilt by depending on foreign investors.?

When you give your people quality technological education and create a platform for local people to invest into their innovations and inventions, industrial wealth will be created.

I repeat

You and the governor have similar brain, mind and reasoning.
