Peter Obi should continue being President on Twitter. Major General Muhammadu Buhari us the President of Nigeria and no Igbo man will ever rule Nigeria. Will a yoruba man rule Nigeria? |

Just submit your school certificate thatz all but just because they want to feel big they will submit what is needed and not needed,,, the fools should be sent packing I don't have sympathy for any political leader in this country they are one and thesame thing... Walahi when I want to contest election, even though I have my WAEC, B.Sc, M.Sc and a Doctorate, I am submitting my secondary school testimonial, that Supreme court has settled it that all is needed as minimum qualification is evidence of attendance of secondary school, there is no mention of WAEC as pre-requisite. A Secondary school testimonial is an evidence of attendance of secondary education. Minumum qualification is what I will be submitting to INEC. I don't have time for all these political hullabaloos. |

Politics › Re: Why Are Igbos Afraid Of PDP Presidential Nomination? by Sctests: 8:50pm On Apr 27, 2020*. Modified: 9:23pm On Apr 27, 2020 |
kayfra: It rather seems illogical that the Igbos that have invested a lot emotionally, financially and psychologically into PDP since 1998 conventions are not embracing the perfect opportunity to be the party's flag bearer.
Out of all the deserving ethnic groups in PDP, the Igbos not only deserve the nomination, they have earned it with reliable support and votes. They have over 90% stakeholder participation in PDP. It's amazing why there's very little interest in seeking for that ticket with a Northerner as VP. If there's any ambition expressed, it's the illogical demand for APC, a party that they loath and never vote for, to nominate an Igbo candidate as the flag bearer. Isn't that upside down warped logic?
What's the matter and please don't come here with Biafra rants. We know that's a gimmick Why didn't SW contest against GEJ and Buhari in 2015, 2019? We know that you yoruba have been having sleepness night since the SESS region made it clear they'll vote North if yoruba contests 2023 which is rightfully the turn of the East based on zoning (turn by turn). No amount of goading, mocking, insults or shouting slaves!' will stop you from facing the North+SE+SS if by chance, APC gives you yorubas the ticket in 2023 instead of the East. We are not emotional yorubas. Thank God you know you don't have the numbers, especially since you are the persona non grata of the south. Your defeat will be thunderous like that of Awo at the polls since you guys hate equity and justice. You will not be allowed to jump the queue. It is the rightful turn of the East, support it and wait for your own turn or contest and lose to the rest of the country. You will not be allowed to grab power before your rightful turn so that you can taunt and insult us the more. |

I'm professionally trained to be skeptical about news like this. And I'll ask the right questions before celebrating.
- What is the name of the kit and has it passed through clinical trials to ascertained it's diagnostic value, sensitivity and specificity?
- Are the result for the clinical trials published online for scientists like us to peruse? |

No she died of a superficial mycotic infection (craw-craw) which progressively became sub-cutaneous and proliferated invasively and progressively into systemic mycosis. She already had an underlying ailment which was occasioned by her poor mental health at 59 years of age.
These factors combined with other factors such as her sero-positive status in retroviral assay, ensure that she died of the opportunistic invasion by mycotic infection.
We lost her yesterday. RIP Kemi!

We will continue to hammer the truth without being apologetic about it. Yorubas have done their turn, if there is zoning (which means turn by turn). It will be the turn of the Igbos.
If the yoruba cannot wait and queue for their own turn after turn, let them forgerrit.Justice and equity.
The PDP will wait for APC to reveal their flagbearer, if the give it to the SW, then the North+SE+SS will team up in PDP and meet them at the polls. God so good, yorubas don't have numbers to make themselves president just as they have mocked the East. They have only helped others to win 2 out of 8 presidential elections in the history of this country and have never made themselves president.
The only equitable thing to do is for both parties to zone it to the East. Those hypocrites shouting and crying about unity on TVs, Radios and social media should walk the talk and insist that the East gets the presidency.
There can be no unity without, equity and justice. |

McMayor: Mine happened in year 2010. I went to visit a friend in Benue state(Otukpo). I board flight landed in Enugu then another 2hrs road trip to my destination. It was a round trip. On the day I was supposed to head back to lagos... I had #7000 I paid cab guy that took me from Otukpo to Enugu Airport I think #3500. I had #3500 left but there was robbery along the way which delayed my journey,... long story short, I missed my flight. I was told by Aero that I would have to wait till the next day for another flight or I would have to make it to Owerri to catch another flight. I boarded bus headed Owerri. Enugu to Owerri I think its about 2hrs trip but bus broke down, I spent 3hrs. I saw the plane took off. I just felt sorry for myself. I asked around if I could book a new flight that would leave same day, I was told... That was the last flight for that day. But I needed to get to Lagos that day. I had to board bus which I 8 doing when traveling long distance. Ok I swallowed my pride, I boarded executive bus. I bought a pack of Gulder I sha started drinking. The drink was causing me to pee which I kept stopping the driver just as we got to ore, I told driver I wanted to pee... Guess what? Driver drove off!!!! God . But I had just #500 on me as cash. God, what am I going to do? I have to get to lagos that same day. I boarded bus headed to ijebu Ode i trekked from ijebu Ode Express to Ibadan garage before i could get a working ATM machine. Ok I got enough cash but they said last bus already left for lagos. Infact I was just about crying but this small car came shouting lagos lagos... The way I got into it, till today I dont even understand. I sha got to Beger almost 12am. You are a very careless human being. |
Travel › Re: Have You Ever Been Stranded While Travelling? How Did It Go? by Sctests: 6:43am On Apr 27, 2020 |
Jaeis: You can be stranded even with loads of cash on you.
I was traveling back to Calabar from a funeral at one village in Ebonyi state. The vehicle I boarded got stuck in heavy traffic somewhere in Cross River. Due to ongoing road repairs to the main road, we had to use an alternative seemingly bushy road.
There were loads of vehicles stuck on that road, including trucks. The road was narrow and wasn't made to carry dual vehicular traffic, so drivers had had to manage to pass through, without rubbing against themselves, movement was very very very slow.
It was a sunny day so it was discomforting staying seated in a packed vehicle moving at snail speed. Occasionally I had to alright from the vehicle to stretch my legs and get refreshment from hawkers.
At some point just a few meters ahead, a caterpillar and a truck were stuck tying to pass side by side since the road was really narrow.
I just strolled forward to get a better view and see how things would be resolved. The issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes and cars began to move freely again and before I knew what was going on, the road became empty.
The vehicle I'd boarded had driven off and left me stranded, I didn't even know when it passed
Luckily I only had a back pack as luggage and I was carrying it, otherwise I would've lost my stuff.
Apparently, the main road had been opened so vehicles didn't need to use this alternate route anymore.
I had a loaded wallet but no vehicle to board
Around 7pm I was able to hitch a ride with a bus carrying farm produce to the city I was going to.
It was one heck of a ride, the bus had no seats and no headlights, at some point it began to rain and the roof was leaking so badly that you'd think there was no roof.
I eventually got home at 11pm with several several hard lesson learnt. You are one of those annoying passengers that always jumped out of bus at every slight traffic during interstate journeys to 'stretch your legs'. Una no dey keep nyash one place and always end up wasting other passengers time after every little stop or traffic jam. Served you right. |
