From what he said in the interview, they are waiting till the bill progresses to the serious stages before it will be thrown to the dustbin where it belongs.

This social media bill would eventually lead to a duplicity of our legislation, if we already have a Cyber Crimes Act that covers social media related offences like Sen. Nnamani pointed out, that would be a good place to start. Our Democracy should be top priority to our leaders.
