The best his family and his legal team can do for him now is to approach the office of the AGF and see how they can reach a compromise to transfer him to a closer Correctional facility maybe Kaduna or Kogi.
But running to the media will not help him...

And Kanu will still appeal to the Supreme court, he can be lucky to get the sentence reduced to life. And who knows pardon can come his way one day.
