Adamuchitimu: See yorubas
Wike's influence ends in river state and other few Niger delta state. Atiku's vote bank is in the north, so how is wike going to stop Atiku from winning the majority vote in the north? You see how Atiku got 80% iof the total votes from the north in 2023? You better wake up and stop dreaming.. Atiku himself know that the PDP ticket is not sure for him in 2027 |

DMerciful: Provide source to this fake news!
Only the local govt portion of Lagos allocation was withheld.
Rivers case is allocation from the Federation and not their bank account. Ironically, you getting the oil from Rivers state. Its like somebody harvesting your crop and tells you he'll seize it unless you behave. If Nigeria were to be practicing true federalism, all Rivers money will belong to Rivers. Nigeria is a fraud Don't mind that person... They are the ones spreading fake news everywhere... How can Supreme court freeze IGR account that is not coming from the FG... |

Pierocash: i can see you just want to argue, i live in Port Harcourt ,don't ague what you don't have knowledge about. oga the entire account is frozen no way to pay, this is not about igr, or federal allocation, it is about accounts of the state frozen by cbn. Are you not seeing the tension, if it is about just federal allocation, will there be this level of tension in the state, aren't you aware of the state wide broadcast by Fubara? stop arguing Oga and you think I am commenting from outside port Harcourt? Please provide anywhere the supreme court said the whole state accounts should be frozen... Just this morning I was at the Revenue house at Rainbow town. I am telling you that the IGR is not affected. |
Politics › Re: How Will Rivers' Civil Servants Cope Now? by seanfer(m): 1:06pm On Mar 18, 2025 |
Pierocash: stop arguing, federal allocation was halted before the local government election by federal high court, the state government was running the state with IGR. this is different, it is not about federal government with holding allocation this time, it is about the entire bank account of Rivers state government been frozen by the court. Tinubu's case is different, it is federal allocation that was siezed by Obj led federal government, the state account wasn't frozen so Tinubu could still make withdrawals from state account due to IGR. the current case in Rivers is different, the entire account was frozen. why do you think there is tension if igr account can be accessed? You're wrong.. In Tinubu and OBJ's case the LGA funds were stopped because of the creation of LCDAs.. In Rivers state case the Allocation coming from the FG to the state and LGAs are the only ones affected by the Supreme court ruling.. The state IGR is not affected. |

Penguin2: Martins Amaewhule and his co travelers are engaging in a jamboree.
Take it from me that Fubara will not be impeached.
Now they’ve roped the Deputy in to clear the way for Martins to become Governor should they succeed in impeaching Fubara.
Tinubu’s chances of re-election is already slim, now he wants to dim every ray of light left of his chance of re-election by setting Rivers on fire.
We will be watching and waiting to tell the fools rejoicing here that “we told you so”. This is not about Tinubu, this has been the game plan from the beginning by Wike to have another Ikwerre man from same LGA as the Governor through the back door. |
Politics › Re: Allegations Of Gross Misconduct Against Rivers Dep-Gov, Ngozi Odu (Full Text) by seanfer(m): 3:13pm On Mar 17, 2025 |
The plan from the beginning is to bring Amaehule an Ikwerre man in from the back door as the Governor of the state.. Wike only try using Fubara to get the votes and also to make it look like he supported someone from another tribe in the state. Wike want the power to remain with his tribe and now the plan is coming out in full glare. |

Now will the Chief Judge whom this same 27 assembly members accused of age falsification carry out their bidding?
What they're trying to do now is to create crises in the state and the FG will now declare state of emergency in the state.. Fubara is ahead of them in the game. If a house that is on indefinite recess is now issuing impeachment notice, that says alot about the integrity of the lawmakers... Wike want to install another Ikwerre man in to that sit, I pity those from Ijaws in the house supporting this. |

Omo-Agege was suspended by Saraki led Senate and he went to court to get a ruling that over turn his suspension. Akpabio apologised for his unruly behaviour on the floor of the Senate and he was pardoned. During the last senate under Ahmad Lawan, Senator Ali Ndume was removed as the chief whip of the Senate and also was suspended for 6 months, He had to beg through some political and religious leaders from the North before the senate recall him back.. And he was not given back his position as the Chief-Whip of the Senate till the end of that senate.. Even under Akpabio few months ago Senator Ireti Kingibe of LP walked out on the whole senate during an argument and the next day when her matter was raised on the floor of the senate, She apologised and the who senate forgave her and her matter was settled.. Senator Natasha just want to be the focus of attraction and she is getting it now at the detriment of her constituent. |

The chibok girls saga and the 2014/2015 boko boys interference in GEJ's government was sponsored by the APC and by then, Bulaba was the APC national leader.
The Donald Trump's government just exposed this during their recent USAID audit. Obama's Gov, used USAID funds to sponsor terrorism in Nigeria against our Gov in 2015. Your problem is tou read and comprehend what suits your believe.. can you show us any proof released by Trump's to back the accusation that Obama funded Boko-Haram. Also you did not point I raised that BH has been on rampage in the North right from Yar'adua time. We may not like the person in the office of the president currently. We should all know that no matter where we go, Nigeria is our country and we should not continue peddling false rumors against the country. |

Ofemannnu: It is a spiritual phenomenon.Yorubas will always have emphaty for the Igbos, help them and participate in whatever venture Igbos indulge in I mean like 1/3 of Yorubas always have that brotherly love and "I want to assist and support them" spirit towards the Igbos.
In the history of Nigeria,we have seen this up t[sup][/sup]I'll date.Have read the history of Nigeria and concluded that it is a kind of shared destiny. Yorubas always acting the senior brother. Biafra war,we have Banjo,Wole Soyinka,Sam Aluko,Fajuyi etc ticking out their necks for the Igbos
Obasanjo,Adebanjo,Farotimi and a host of millions of Yorubas having soft spot for the Igbos. The funny thing is,most Igbos are always against Yoruba. I think it is mostly an envy thing because Yoruba have always had the upper hand in most affairs. They have always been the superior almost in everything.I think they should work together for their combined progress. As things stands now with these current generation of people, I don't see any political alliance between the SW and SE. It has been on record how the SE have always wanted to be force themselves as the southern leaders and anytime they can't have their way, they will resort to calling the SW all sorts of names. This has been happening since 1940s and there's no sign they're peddling down. Imagine some people coming out that it was only their votes that made LP win Lagos and started insulting people. |

If Tinubu do anyhow, enough yansh go open and "everywhere go smell". According to your comment, Tinubu went from the SW to sponsor Boko Haram in the NE/NW? Are you aware that Boko-Haram issue started during OBJ's tenure and it escalated after the death of Yaradu'a? |
