Yeah, Ghanaian, Liberian, and many other African food stores are everywhere in both state Virginia and Maryland! Only Nigerian food stores are not found anywhere.

According to the author of Carribean cookbook where I found from google, she created all recipes marked "bold content" of book page stated that those recipes are come from Nigeria, you can buy all Nigerian ingredients at any Carribean food store in the USA. It does not say it found in Virginia or Maryland.

I will not answer which state I live in. By the way in my university alma mater in Washington DC, there were largest number of deaf black students are from Africa- - -most West Africa, East Africa, and South Africa. They all were clingy together all through their undergraduates/graduates studies earning either Bachelor/Master/PhD degrees to return their motherland in order to establish their own business or deaf advocate helping other deaf Africans.

They (deaf Africans) were the ones has STRONG VOICES about fighting against the human rights of deaf African at their motherland on our university blog/newsletter/e-letter VERY POWERFULLY.

I am myself neither Nigerian/African nor live in Nigeria/Africa, but I am black American. I eat American food, Italian food, Chinese food, Ethiopia food, and German Food I love any exotic foods. I will someday to visit Africa.

All Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC are the largest multi-cultural diversity everywhere I bump into different people with different races, ethnic, and nationality.

i feel you. when i use to live in MD, my school had nigerians, liberians, seirra leons and alsmost every african people. That school was the best. AMERICA IS DIVERSE, especially if you live in DC, MD or VA.

Why wont tell me what state you live ini promise i wont stalk you.

The Wire - Season 1 to 5 (Brilliant show, realistic and humourous, one of the best shows to have come out of the HBO stable behind the Sapranos (and maybe SITC) ).

Nip Tuck - Season 1 to 5 (a bit jaring, but quite humourous, copied some stuff from SITC, but still original. Quite realistic on the vanity of beauty and how many folks are not happy with their inner self).

SITC and 24 are shows that need no mention, as i am sure that everyone has had the chance to watch either 1 of these shows.

I am sure you plan to ask me why choosing Ethiopia food stores to get similar ingredients for Nigerian foods.

Because last year in Washington DC, my New York-born male friend who resides in DC took me out for exotic dining I liked to try out myself. He was the one introduced me entering Ethiopian restaurant that find me interesting to eat.

It was so delicious with Authentic Ethiopian food! Wow! I also fancied with all waitress/waiters---all American-Ethiopian physical looks I never seen HOW BEAUTIFUL they are.

It was located in Adam Morgan area in Washington DC---very popular international diversely suburban nearby few popular universities---easily accessible to just like Greenwich in NY.

I wish for my rural hometown, it need more African residents to live there to break their misconceptions about Africa. I am tired of seeing too many Mexican everywhere in my rural town, WHERE ARE AFRICAN ones?

My rural hometown has only 11,000 population with approxiate 800 business---35 miles southwest driving distance from major big city. (Famous Slavery/Civil War battlefield historial tourism) It is also 3 hours driving to Washington DC. It has no public transportation---bus, taxi, subway/rail/train between rural town and major city----most of us rural residents are commuting their own cars to major city for jobs round trip 70 miles in 5 days a week, not bad for them.

Low crime rates but heavy on domestic violence arise because of isolated rural town that make lot of youth/teenagers feel boring to death to hurry up graduating high school to get out of there. Majority residents are elderly and retired professionals---relaxed quiet environment.

what state do you live in Maryland or Virginia. I use to live in maryland and i have never seen a nigeria food store, only ghanian and liberian.

~I had this craving to eat cassava leaves,i have watched it been cooked so many times,i felt confident i can pull it off cooking it myself Soo i went the whole nine yards bought all the ingridients,blended oninons with pepper,boiled the chicken,meat,then it was time for the cassava leaves to boil,i think at this point i was feeliing a little bit over confident,so i poured the leaves to boil with what seemed like just the right amount of water, but i soon found out it was more like i'd pored a bucket of water after the pot must have boiled for an hour,and there were no signs of the water evapourating this particular leaves jumps and bubbles over when its boiling too,its like a volcano about to explode i kept thinking okay am sure it didnt take this long to cook over the many occassions i'd watched it been cooked the leaves were practically drowning in that pot,i just gave up and poured it down the sink! i was so gutted,i was really craving for that soup,cleaning up the palmoil with leaves off the cocker,floor,walls that bubbled out whenevr i checked to see if the water works was dry didnt make me feel any better either, however over the years i kept hitting and missing till i got it right ONCE

Ooh BTW SeanT21 been Liberian i suppose you know "Toboorgi",hope i got it right i had a bunch of Liberian Plas, i tried it once,i absolutely looved it,do you know the recipe?! im not sure if its aubergine or Mattigualla

All of the guys I list there won multiple championships as lead dog. Both LeBron and Kobe have NEVER won championship as the leader.

Bill Russell won championships 11 straight times as lead dog. Even he college, he led his team to the championship twice. He has also done a lot more things that neither Kobe or LeBron can even touch. The Melbourne Olympics, his season as both a player/coach, his defense, etc,
We all know what Jordan did.
Magic johnson was a 3 time MVP and won 5 championships, can play all 5 positions, and won the Finals MVP as a ROOKIE. LeBron and Kobe do not have the resume that these players have, INCLUDING Shaq

Shaq won MVP, was a runner up for DPOY, won 3 Finals MVP and won 4 championships. He had the most dominant prime in this generation.

You can't beat the Americans. The best in everything including the good the bad and the ugly. Go to any movie store in the Britain, all you find there are American movies.

Go to any movie store in America, Bristish movies are "quarantined" in one shelf called "foreign" productions.
