I have noticed a pattern..
When Iran attacked Israel with little damages to Israel, they shouted that Israel was badly damaged meanwhile the Iranian regime were busy showing fake images to their people.
Now that Israel has attacked Iran, they also claim the damages did not happen.
There is a conscious attempt to undermine the Israeli capabilities..

There is a reason these guys rush to push these misinformation. Because when it grabs the headline, people don't really stick around to hear the truth, meanwhile, their falsehood had spread everywhere. And then, it massages their ego.

You need to understand the sequence of events. After Iran retaliated, Israel said 99% interception. Nothing was hit. Col. Douglas McGregor said the following day in Twitter that Israel was hit really bad, that they are covering up.

Israel showed some fake pictures. It was immediately debunk. Then images started coming out of the impacts, and destroyed fighter jets. Even some mossad agent were blown to pieces that night.

Then days later, Israel now said they had 88%(or there about, can't remember exactly) interception. Then they started planning for a retaliation. US told them we can't join you in it.

So the whole thing was perfected curated to make Israel look tuff. US asked Iran to allow Israel blow up some empty building somewhere, Iran rejected and told US, we are not messing around anymore. Another clue was, the forex, crypto market didn't turn red during the so-called Israel response.

Inferiority complex afflicted air head.

Whose fault is that you are an empty head who doesn't know his history?

Who are you calling delusional?

Some of us have been researching African history since before you were born.

When we say the Chinese have a MAJOR and SUBSTANTIAL African heritage, we base it on SCHOLARLY FINDINGS.

In the famous 1836 book, Anacalypsis: An Attempt to Draw Aside the Veil of the Saitic Isis or an Inquiry Into the Origin of Languages, Nations and Religions, by English historian Godfrey Higgins, he wrote:

“I shall, in the course of this work, produce a number of extraordinary facts, which will be quite sufficient to prove that a black race in very early times, had more influence over the affairs of the world than has been lately suspected. And I think I shall show by some very striking circumstances yet existing, that the effects of this influence have not entirely passed away.’’

Higgins also repeated the contention of Homer, the ancient Greek philosopher, that there was in existence two major Ethiopian nations, one, Africa as a whole, and the other one, India!

In fact Herodotus, the legendary ancient Greek scholar known as the ‘father of history’ referred to India as ‘Eastern Ethiopia!’’

According to Higgins, ‘’there were two Ethiopias, one to the east of the Red sea, and the other to the west of it: and a very great nation of blacks ... did rule over almost all Asia in a very remote era, in fact beyond the reach of history or any of our records’’
.
He went on...’’We have found the black complexion or something relating to it whenever we have approached the origin of nations. The Alma Mater, the goddess Multimammia, the founders of oracles, the Memnons or first idols, were always black. Venus, Juno, Jupiter, Apollo, Bacchus, Hercules, Asteroth, Adonis, Horus, Apis, Osiris, Ammon, in short, all the ... deities were black. The images remain as they were first made in very remote times.’’

Godfrey Higgins the writer of Anacalpysis wrote:

"the originals of all the Gods have always been of the black race." The ancients viewed the sacred image of the Divine as Black. And woolly hair [kinky hair] was a sign of divinity - called "the hair of the gods."

'In my Essay on The Celtic Druids, I have shewn, that a great nation called Celtæ, of whom the Druids were the priests, spread themselves almost over the whole earth, and are to be traced in their .. gigantic monuments from India to the extremities of Britain. Who these can have been but the early individuals of the black nation of whom we have been treating I know not, and in this opinion I am not singular.'

You can still find their statues and paintings wherever their settled.

This is CAMBODIA, where Africans established the Khmer Civilisation.

So, no, we are not ''delusional''.

It just seems that way because you don't know your history.

Of course nothing lasts forever. Every civilisation rises and falls. African dominance lasted for thousands of years in these places, and must be acknowledged, celebrated, and learnt from.

Those statues and paintings they made there were for POSTERITY.

So that generations down the line would know the reach and scope of African majesty, which brought civilisation to the world.

You are just delusional

I am Yoruba and I know my history, so you don't know who you are ?

If you are not suffering from inferiority complex you wouldn't be so eager to discard your history and be claiming chinese because of some conspiracy theories and propaganda.

If you were great you don't need to claim something far away to prove that, your achievements where ever you are should be enough testament and proof, most of you are just delusional and suffering from inferiority complex.

If you were that great but everyone were able to oppressed and enslaved you then it mean you were not really that great as you claimed you are just deceiving yourselves.

Nigeria can't even build a single developed city that's self sufficient with so many resources and money at our disposal all being siphon by our politicians but idiot like you keep blaming others for your backwardness.

So many things happen in Africa that won't be tolerated in China but you think you have some semblance with Chinese and Japanese and even trying to claim their history, you are just stupid.

Foreign Affairs / BBC Report : Israel Iran Attack: Damage Seen At Iranian Air Base In Isfahan by SeeThisLoser: 9:37pm On Apr 21
Satellite imagery released over the past 24 hours has revealed evidence of probable damage at an Iranian air base following an Israeli strike in the early hours of Friday morning.

BBC Verify has analysed two images showing part of an air-defence system at an airfield in Isfahan was damaged.

US officials say Israel carried out a missile strike although there has been no official Israeli confirmation.

Tensions between the bitter rivals intensified in recent weeks.

An earlier, suspected Israeli strike on an Iranian consulate in Syria at the beginning of the month was followed by a retaliatory attack by Iran on Israel on 13 April.

Ever since news of Friday's Israeli strike in Isfahan - the cradle of Iran's nuclear programme - there has been speculation about the likely target and extent of the damage.

Iran says the attack involved drones that were neutralised by air defences.

While it remains unclear what weapon or weapons were used in the attack, satellite imagery has detected evidence of damage at the air base.

BBC Verify made this assessment through analysis of optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite imagery captured over Isfahan on Friday.

Optical imagery will be familiar to anyone who regularly uses tools like Google Earth - essentially a photograph of the land below.

SAR technology uses radio waves to build an image of the Earth's surface. One advantage it has over more conventional satellite technology is its ability to capture images at night or through cloud.

The imagery it collects is rendered in black and white but at high resolution.

It therefore cannot detect changes in colouration on the ground - such as burn marks - but can display material damage to structures, vehicles etc.

One such image captured by Umbra Space on 15 April shows an S-300 air defence system located at the north-western corner of the Shikari air base.

The system comprises several vehicles equipped with radar, distinctive missile launchers and other equipment.

An Umbra Space image captured after Friday's strike shows damage and debris around one component - probably a radar - which has also shifted position slightly.

Other vehicles have been moved away from the site.

This assessment was confirmed by an optical satellite image captured by Planet which, despite low resolution, shows a scorch mark at the same location.

This mark was not evident in images captured on 11 and 15 April.

The military base itself does not show any signs of material damage in the available imagery, but further analysis of higher resolution optical captures will be required to make that conclusion.

As yet there is no available imagery from Isfahan's nuclear facilities.

The UN's International Atomic Energy Agency has said there was "no damage to Iran's nuclear sites".

“Breakthrough” episode of the summary channel... Know the story from the beginning Subscribe ► @SummaryEgypt
New information about the Iranian-Israeli conflict presented by this episode of Samri Channel.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation revealed the type of missile that Israel used in its attack on Iran, which is the Israeli-made Rampage missile, whose speed exceeds sound. She pointed out that this missile is difficult to detect by air defenses and reached its target successfully due to its ability to correct its path. She said he was carrying a warhead weighing 150 kilograms and had a range of 145 kilometres.

The New York Times newspaper, citing officials, revealed that the weapon with which Israel targeted the air defenses of the Iranian Natanz nuclear site carried technology that enabled it to evade Iranian radars. Western officials said the strike was intended to send a message to Iran that Israel could bypass Iranian defense systems without being detected, and paralyze them.

Two Iranian officials confirmed to the newspaper that the Israeli weapon hit an S-300 anti-aircraft system at a military base in Isfahan province, a story supported, according to the New York Times, by satellite images it analyzed that show damage to the S-300 system’s radar in 8th Shikari Air Base in Isfahan.

Two Western officials stated that a missile was launched from a warplane that was “far from Israeli or Iranian airspace, and neither the plane nor the missile entered Jordanian airspace, in a calculated step to distance Amman from any possible repercussions of the retaliatory strike after it helped shoot down Iranian missiles and drones on its way.” To Israel a week ago.

The two Iranian officials confirmed that the Iranian army did not detect intrusions into its airspace on Friday, including drones, missiles and aircraft. The official Iranian news agency, IRNA, reported that there were no missile attacks, and that the Iranian air defense system had not been activated. It was not clear what type of weapon targeted the Iranian air defense system. Three Western officials and two Iranian officials confirmed on Friday that Israel had used drones and at least one missile fired from a warplane. Earlier, Iranian officials said that the attack on the military base was carried out by small drones, most likely launched from inside Iranian territory.

Western officials noted that “Israel’s use of drones launched from inside Iran and a missile that it was unable to detect was intended to give Iran an idea of what a large-scale attack might look like,” and added that the attack “was designed to make Iran think twice before launching an attack.” Directly on Israel in the future.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian downplayed the importance of the attack that was attributed to Israel and targeted central Iran on Friday, comparing it to a children's game and stressing that there will be no Iranian retaliatory response unless Tehran's "interests" are targeted. On Friday, Iranian official media reported that explosions were heard at dawn near a military base in Isfahan province, after the Iranian air defense system “succeeded in shooting down several” drones.

American media quoted American officials as saying that Israel launched a strike on Iran in response to the unprecedented Iranian attack that targeted it on April 13. Amir Abdullahian said, on Friday, in an interview with the American network NBC, “What happened last night was not an attack.” He added that it was "two or three drones, the ones that children play with in Iran." He continued: "As long as there is no new adventure (military attack) by the Israeli regime against Iran's interests, we will not respond."

Foreign Affairs / Russia Enters The War And Sends Egyptian Su-35 Fighters To Iran To Strike Israel by SummaryChannel: 12:41pm On Apr 21
Russia officially enters the war and sends Egyptian Su-35 fighters to Iran to respond to Israel in depth.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxVeuaJc1Tk?si=guO6Yv_0caRvZzD5
New information about the Iranian-Israeli conflict presented by this episode of Samri Channel.
Iranian media reported that Iran will receive - early next week - the first batch of advanced Sukhoi 35 aircraft from Russia. According to a report by the Israeli Channel 12, the Iranians are expected to receive 24 advanced aircraft, compared to the current situation where the Iranian Air Force relies on very old aircraft such as the Phantom, which Tehran received from the United States of America in the 1970s.

According to the report, the Iranians use F-14, F-5, and F-4 American aircraft, in addition to MiG-29 aircraft, which is a Russian model, but it has become significantly outdated, compared to the Sukhoi 35 aircraft, which changes the balance of air power. The Israeli channel said that the F-35 aircraft that Israel possesses are already more advanced than the Sukhoi 35 aircraft, but this Russian offer certainly changes the current balance of air power.

According to the Hebrew channel, Israel will indeed remain more advanced, but the moment the Iranians operate Sukhoi 35 planes, the gaps between the two sides will not be those gaps in technology that have developed over about 50 years. Last week, The Washington Post reported that Russia is expected to soon supply Tehran with advanced S-400 air defense batteries.

Iran reported last November that it had completed arrangements to purchase Su-35 fighter jets and Russian-made helicopters, as part of consolidating military relations between the two countries. Mehdi Farhi, Iranian Deputy Minister of Defense, told the Iranian Tasnim News Agency that his country has completed the purchase of the Mil-28 attack helicopters, Sukhoi-35 fighters, and Yak-130 training aircraft for inclusion in the Iranian army’s combat units.

The American newspaper "The New York Times" reported in an analytical report that Russian fighters may have already arrived in Iran, and linked this to satellite images that show the stability of fighter planes at an air base inside Iran that Tehran did not possess before.

For his part, the Iranian researcher in military affairs, Muhammad Mehdi Yazdi, describes the talk about his country possessing advanced Russian fighters as “new and old” for years, explaining that the end of the restrictions imposed on Tehran to purchase conventional weapons has accelerated the pace of military cooperation between Iran and Russia.

Speaking to Al Jazeera Net, Yazdi explained that the Iranian Army Air Force seeks to diversify its military equipment from the industries of Western and Eastern powers, in addition to national industries.

He explained that his country had entered into serious negotiations with the Russian side to purchase Sukhoi-30 fighters during the past years, but it found in the advantages of the Sukhoi 35 model that were compatible with its plans to enhance its air capabilities. Yazdi stressed that the Sukhoi-35 has strategic advantages that make the Iranian weapons system integrated to confront potential threats.

Crime / British-Nigerian Man Jailed For 28 Years After Shooting Man Over £3.50 Drug Debt by Newlymarried: 12:22pm On Apr 21
An Edmonton man who attempted to shoot someone in retaliation over a £3.50 drug debt has been jailed for 28 years.

Marcus Adepoju, 31, of Claremont Street, appeared at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, April 12, where he was sentenced.

He was previously convicted of multiple firearms and drug offences following a trial at the same court which concluded in February.

In April 2023, officers were called to a house on Nelgarde Road, Catford, where a man reported he had been shot at through a window by a masked man.

The three shots had narrowly missed him but caused superficial wounds from glass shards, as well as extensive damage to the property.

Detectives immediately began an investigation which included extensive CCTV enquiries. This showed the suspect walking to the scene from a house in Laleham Road, Hither Green, and returning there soon afterwards.

Officers focused their attention on those coming in and out of the property and shortly afterwards they saw a man – later identified as Marcus Adepoju – travelling from the house to a storage facility in nearby Forest Hill.

A search of the unit recovered two firearms alongside ammunition, drugs, cash and knives. Another storage facility they linked to Adepoju was found to contain more ammunition, cash and drugs.

Adepoju was stopped by officers in a car in Chingford, where he was found to be in possession of a bag which contained a large set of keys. These included keys for the house on Laleham Road as well as the two storage units.

Forensic enquiries carried out on one of the seized guns linked it to the shooting, as well as to another incident in March 2023 in which a bullet hole was found in a lorry in Forest Hill. Adepoju’s DNA was also found on both weapons.

His phone was also analysed and revealed several images of a third firearm.
Adepoju pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of a firearm, money laundering, possession with intent to supply class A drugs and posses

Politics / I Recommended Peter Obi To Atiku In 2019. Can’t Support Tinubu In 2027 – Reno Om by Newlymarried: 11:43am On Apr 21
[img]https://alexis.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/images%20-%202024-04-21T095112.365_1713689493.jpeg[/img]

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has revealed that he recommended Peter Obi to former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar in 2019 as a running mate.

Omokri said he recommended Obi’s name as running mate following a request from Atiku.

Reno vowed never to leave Atiku to support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election even though he has been in support of some of Tinubu’s economic recovery policies.

“Peter Obi can’t deny that I was the one who recommended him to Waziri Atiku Abubakar when he asked me to help choose a running mate in 2019." He said in an interview with Seun Okinbaloye via his podcast, Mic On.

“I called former President Jonathan and he told me it’s Peter Obi, but I told him I just can’t submit one name. We padded the list with others while making Obi’s name look very rosy.

“Atiku chose Obi so after a man had done me just great honour, I will now turn around and be supporting his opponent in the next election?

“I can’t do that, if Atiku decides to contest in 2027 and get the PDP’s presidential candidate, I’m duty-bound to support him.”

Religion / Re: Scientific Benefits Of Praying In Tongues by gohf: 8:29am On Apr 21
Now the term speaking is tongues is also known as glossolalia, is an activity or practice in which people utter words or speech-like sounds, often thought by believers to be languages unknown to the speaker. (according to Wikipedia)

NYtimes
Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania took brain images of five women while they spoke in tongues and found that their frontal lobes — the thinking, willful part of the brain through which people control what they do — were relatively quiet, as were the language centers. The regions involved in maintaining self-consciousness were active. The women were not in blind trances, and it was unclear which region was driving the behavior.

What this means is that usually when we speak or communicate our frontal lobes light up but when we pray in tongues those neutro pathways remain still like we are not speaking. Paul writes the one who speaks in tongues speaks to the Father but not he but the Spirit in him prays and his understandings profits not. To understand what Paul is writing let's continue the article by NYtimes.

“The amazing thing was how the images supported people’s interpretation of what was happening,” said Dr. Andrew B. Newberg, leader of the study team, which included Donna Morgan, Nancy Wintering and Mark Waldman. “The way they describe it, and what they believe, is that God is talking through them,” he said.

There's obviously a clear difference between those who pray, those who meditate and those who pray in tongues.

Contrary to what may be a common perception, studies suggest that people who speak in tongues rarely suffer from mental problems. A recent study of nearly 1,000 evangelical Christians in England found that those who engaged in the practice were more emotionally stable than those who did not.

If you pray in the spirit and have emotional instability, check what you may have received may not be the gift of the holy Spirit but a haughty spirit.

YES.

That poor looking shrine is a result of SOCIETAL NEGLECT AND SHUNNING OF TRADITIONAL RELIGION.

That is why it looks like that.

Do you know that JAPAN practices a religion that is virtually identical to Edo religion? (There is actually evidence of ancient Edo settlement there, but that's another story).

It's called Shintoism.

There are over 100,000 Shinto shrines in Japan today.

Many are directly funded and maintained by the government.

Here is what they look like:

This is what shrines LOOK LIKE absent of colonial destruction of traditional religion.

When we MAKE THE CONSCIOUS DECISION to recognise our traditional religion as VALID in its own right, and treat it accordingly, our shrines will start to look like the ones in Japan.

I've studied Shintoism, and it is simply Updated African Religion in everything but name.

Those images above are what African religion would have look liked today, without European and Arab invasion.

Just like Africans had changed their devotion towards African dieties over the years, You know, Africans were taken aslaves which also constitute societal change in America today, your write up is like saying, let all African Americans begins to migrate back to Africa which is not possible.

So, it is also not possible that Africans should begin revert into African deity devotion the way it was before they first interacted with Europeans, such that they now begin to build temples in their capitals, it's not possible.

See, what will be will surely be. Leave it the way it is.

It is also beautiful like this .

Variation is paramount.
Change is paramount is the evidence that GOD IS MOST POWERFUL, there is nothing anyone can do about it

In today's digital landscape, having a strong online presence is crucial for the success of any business, especially those targeting local customers. Local SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plays a pivotal role in helping businesses increase their visibility in local search results, driving more foot traffic and conversions. However, many small businesses may shy away from investing in SEO due to concerns about cost. Fortunately, there are affordable local SEO packages available that can deliver significant results without breaking the bank.

Keyword Research: The Foundation of Local SEO

Before delving into the details of affordable local SEO packages, it's essential to understand the importance of keyword research. Keywords are the phrases that users type into search engines when looking for products or services. By targeting the right keywords, businesses can attract relevant traffic to their websites.

For local businesses, targeting location-specific keywords is crucial. These include phrases such as "best coffee shop in [city]," "plumber near me," or "Italian restaurant [neighborhood]." Incorporating these keywords into your website content, meta tags, and business listings can significantly improve your visibility in local search results.

Affordable Local SEO Packages: What to Expect

Computers / 8 Things To Consider When Buying Laptop by Klogo: 2:18am On Apr 21
Aside your budget, there are certain specification you might need to consider when acquiring a new laptop. In order words, your laptop need to match your needs and job you want it for.

But sincerely, buying a laptop can be tricky as you can find it as an exercise confusing, because you might even know everything about what you want and how to get it, but finding it can be difficult. Heck, just navigating the manufacturers' websites or physical shopping to locate the model you want is frustrating.

We hope this guide will help you navigate the morass of modern laptops.

Let's patiently consider below a section on every major component you'll want to know about when you browse for a PC.

1. First, Make Choice of Your Operating System

The first step in looking for laptops is to figure out the Operating System (OS) that will work for you. Thinking through what software you need to run and which operating systems it runs on will help you determine the hardware you need. There are four major computer operating systems. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. Here's an overview of each:

Windows: This stalwart OS doesn't get much press anymore, but it gets the job done. It's the best choice if you need Microsoft apps like MS Office, Access, or Outlook. There are also more Windows laptops to choose from than any other OS. Read our Best Laptops, Best Microsoft Surface Laptops, and Best Cheap Laptops guides to see some of the choices out there.

macOS: Apple's macOS is a bit more beginner-friendly than Windows, but it's tightly coupled with the company's hardware. Your buying options are limited to MacBooks. Since Apple uses its own chips and Macbooks are really a different beast altogether.

Chrome OS: If you can do most of your laptop tasks in a web browser, Chrome OS is a good choice. Chrome laptops (called Chromebooks) are also among the cheapest (and least powerful) you'll find, so the OS is also worth considering if you're on a tight budget. Google recently rolled out a big upgrade called Chromebook Plus. The “Plus” stands for better performance—faster processors, more memory, more storage, and better video cameras.

Linux: If you don't need MS Office and don't mind a learning curve, you can install Linux on just about any piece of laptop hardware ever created. The catch is that popular apps like MS Office and Adobe's Creative Suite don't support Linux. However, there are free, open source alternatives like LibreOffice, Darktable (Adobe Lightroom replacement), and GIMP (Adobe Photoshop replacement).

2. Understanding Processor Names (CPUs)

Next after picking operating system, you want and have some idea of the software you're going to run, you can figure out the minimum hardware specifications you'll need. The first thing we suggest looking at is the processor, also referred to as the chip or the CPU. There are, for all intents and purposes, two companies that make consumer laptop processors: Intel and AMD.

Intel Processors

Intel's main processors are the Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9. The Core i3 is the least powerful, and the Core i9 the most. We usually drop the "Core" from the name because it gets repetitive.

AMD Processors

AMD's chip naming is just as difficult to decipher as Intel's. In the name AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, the “7” is the generation (how old it is; higher is better), and the “6” is how powerful it is. A “6” would make this example a medium-powered chip, whereas a 3 or 4 would be weaker (slower). The next two numbers don't have much impact on anything. The “X” at the end indicates high performance. Other letter designations include U for ultra-low power (for better battery life).

3. How Much Processing Power Do You Need?

For a typical user who runs a web browser, Microsoft's Office Suite, and perhaps even some photo editing software, I recommend a laptop with an Intel Core i5 10th-generation or later processor. That would be displayed something like “Intel Core i5-10350U.”

If you can afford it, an Intel i7 chip makes a nice upgrade and will make your laptop feel snappier. The extra power often means shorter battery life though, so you'll need to balance that with your needs. A gaming laptop, for instance, would use an i7 (or i9) chip, but an i5 is usually fine for less demanding tasks. Likewise, for the average user, the AMD Ryzen 5000 series will suffice, but the Ryzen 7000 makes a nice upgrade—again at the cost of battery life.

4. Consider the Power option

If you compile software, edit videos, or work with very large databases, you're going to want more processing power than the rest of us. I suggest an Intel i7 or Ryzen 7. You'll also want to load up on RAM.

5. What About a Graphics Card?

All laptops technically have graphics cards (also called “discrete” graphics and GPU), but most are bundled into the motherboard with the processor. This approach, known as “integrated graphics,” is fine for most users. You’ll be able to watch HD movies and even play casual games without issue. If you're a gamer or do a lot of video editing, you'll want a laptop with a discrete graphics card—a separate and much more powerful graphics card. AMD and Nvidia make most of the graphics cards you'll find on laptops.

6. Make a choice of RAM

The more the RAM the merrier! Random-access memory, known as RAM, is what your laptop uses to hold data while the processor does things with it. Think of RAM as your desk. All the things you're working on right now should be able to fit on your desk. If your desk is too small, things fall off and you can't work on them. In the same way, if you run out of RAM, you won't be able to open any more browser tabs or finish compiling your video. Eventually, your laptop will freeze up and need to be restarted.

Eight gigabytes of RAM should be plenty for the average Windows user, though upgrading to 16 GB will make your laptop much more capable (and is a necessity for gaming). One thing to investigate before you buy is whether the RAM is soldered to the motherboard. If it is, you won't be able to upgrade the RAM yourself. Again, if you're programming and compiling software or editing video clips, two tasks that require a lot of RAM, you'll want 16 GB at minimum, and you'll probably be happier with 32 GB if you can afford it.

7. Get To Know How Much STORAGE You Need?

The hard drive is where you'll store all your data. Think of this as the filing cabinet next to your desk. The most common choice these days is a solid-state drive (SSD), although some budget laptops still use spinning drives. We suggest avoiding those.

Go for an SSD if you can afford it, with at least 256 GB. SSDs are faster, especially if they use an NVMe connection, which moves data in and out of the hard drive much quicker than the older standard, known as SATA.

You may have noticed that your hard drive doesn't seem to ever have its advertised space. If a hard drive is labeled 512 GB, it may show as having only 490 GB available in Windows. You aren't losing space; this just has to do with the difference between binary and decimal byte size calculations.

8. Check for Ports!

While the CPU, RAM, and hard drive will have the biggest impact on performance, the amount and types of ports on your laptop are important. Ports are the various ways of plugging things into your laptop, like USB devices or charging cables. You will want at least one 1 USB-C, at least one 1 USB-A, and a microphone/headset jack. Make sure your laptop has an SD or microSD card reader if you're a photographer and need to constantly download images from your camera. Otherwise, you'll need to carry a dongle.
