A French lady identified as Ivanna Bay, has taken to social media to reveal that she is pregnant with Davido’s child.

This comes hours after a US lady Anita Brown shared several screenshots and clips accusing Davido of impregnating her.

The new development has gone viral on social media, stoking the fire of the already-scandalous situation.

Ivanna took to her Instagram Stories to share the shocking revelations.
Shortly after Anita Brown set the internet ablaze with screenshots and videos backing her claims of being pregnant for Davido, Ivanna took to her page to speak up as well.
Although the Stories have since been taken down, a screen recording by Tosin Silverdam showing Ivanna with a pregnancy test reading positive as well as screenshots of her conversions with the singer, have gone viral.

The conversation also shows the singer being made aware of the pregnancy and Ivanna’s decision to get rid of it.

N50million Bribe: Appeal Court Jails Two Chinese Nationals Six Years Each

Justice Abubakar Mahmud Talba of the Court of Appeal, Sokoto Division on Friday, 31st March 2023 convicted and sentenced two Chinese nationals, Meng Wei Kun and Mr. Xu Kuai, to three years imprisonment for each of the two count charge for offences of Conspiracy, Money Laundering and attempted Bribery to the tune of N50 Million (Fifty Million Naira) brought against them by the Sokoto Zonal Command of the EFCC.

The judgement is sequel to EFCC's appeal brought against the judgment of the Federal High Court Sokoto, which discharged and acquitted the accused persons on all the three three count charge.

Delivering the unanimous judgment, Justice Talba berated the respondents that tried to frustrate the appeal through maneuverings stating that, "gone are the days of technicalities in law". He further emphased that going forward, courts must allow cases to be heard on its merits.

Justice Talba further explained that the EFCC had proven counts one and two of the three count charge before the Federal High Court beyond reasonable doubt but agreed with the lower Court on count three and accordingly struck it out because a similar charge is pending before the High Court of Justice Sokoto State.

According to Justice Talba, "the respondents are charged with Conspiracy and making a cash payment in excess of the threshold provided by the Money Laundering Prohibition Act 2011 as amended in 2012 to Abdullahi Lawal (then zonal head of EFCC Sokoto) which was established beyond reasonable doubt before the lower Court. But surprisingly, the trial Judge summersaulted in his judgement and recanted".

Justice Talba added, "I regret to say that the judgment is like a fiction by the trial judge who created doubts in his mind while discharging his responsibilities. Without doubt, the trial judge grossly misconceived that no offence was committed"

The Judge said further, "conspiracy is a distinct offence even if the commission of the actual offence is aborted, and in the instant case, there exists positive cogent inescapable evidence the offence was committed".

While he maintained that the appeal is "immensely meritorious", the judge convicted and sentenced the Chinese nationals to three years on each of the two counts with an option of N10 million fine each on each count.

On a final note, the judge said, "before i draw the curtain, the respondents are Chinese and an offence of this gravity in their home country attracts the death penalty, yet here they are corrupting our country. The courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will not condone corruption in any way; as President Muhammadu Buhari has said 'if we don't kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria".

An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered the remand of one Chinasa Michael, accused of setting fire to a BRT bus terminal at Oyingbo in Lagos during a protest in year 2020 over alleged police abuses.

The defendant, 21, who is unemployed and resides at No. 21, Ilogbo St., Apapa Road, Lagos, is being tried for conspiracy, arson, and causing breach of peace.
The Magistrate, Mrs M.C. Ayinde, who refused to take the defendant’s plea, ordered that he should be remanded in Kirikiri Correctional center until Sept. 1, pending legal advice.

Ayinde ordered that the case file should be duplicated and sent to the office of the Lagos state Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for legal advice.

The Prosecution Counsel, Insp Segun Oke, told the court that the offences were committed in October 2020 at the Oyingbo BRT bus terminal, Lagos.

Oke said that Michael and others at large set the BRT bus terminal on fire during the #EndSars protest.
The offences, he said, contravened the provisions of Sections 168, 343 and 411 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015

Six students of Government Day Secondary School Salihu Dogo in Jalingo, Taraba state have been expelled by the school management after they staged a protest over the lack of basic learning materials in their school.

The students were said to have staged the protest in front of the school principal's office last week Wednesday, accusing the school management of corruption.

In a viral video shared online, one of the students could be heard saying that they do not have a laboratory for science classes and that the teachers never conduct practical tests for them. They also lamented the lack of seats in their various classes as they are made to either stand or sit on the floor.

According to reports, the school has a population of about 1,000 students with N4,800 paid as school fees per term. N500 out of the N4,800 is earmarked as furniture fees, while another N500 is feeding fees.
