The freed Chibok girl says she is unhappy to be separated from the man - identified by the military as a militant Islamist - who fathered her four-month-old child while she was held captive by Nigeria's Boko Haram group, Reuters news agency reports. In her first interview since being rescued in May, Amina Ali, 21, told Reuters: "I want him to know that I am still thinking about him. Just because we got separated, that does not mean that I don't think about him." Ms Ali is the only Chibok girl to have escaped since the high-profile abduction of more than 200 of them from a boarding school in north-eastern Nigeria in 2014. She was found by local people in a forest with the suspected militant who identified himself as her husband and their child. The Nigerian government kept her and the child in a safe house for a "restoration process", while the whereabouts of the child's father are unknown. Ms Ali told Reuters: "I just want to go home - I don't know about school. I will decide about school when I get back, but I have no idea when I will be going home." http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-africa-36883415 |

Some posters above me indirectly hoping for a win for Nigeria because of their tickets.....but it is hard to see Denmark winning this one but then, this is Football! Anything is possible....Wish the Eaglets best of luck. |
A Friend of mine showed me an epic response of someone whom he knows to a fraudster.....see picture below

halfricanadian:People are so different and handle issues differently. Some love so much to kill when dumped: a FACT! But I like your line of thoughts |
Topestbilly:it hurts a lot because I have experince it. But one thing is this: Life is full of ups and down. We just have to understand that. |
naijaboiy:Ehen! Nah now you come ![]() |
naijaboiy:I ask again, what would you have done? Beaten the girl? Killed her? Beaten up the prophetess? Refuse to leave her alone even when she clearly does not want to be with you anymore? Force your sorry self down her throat? I don't get your point here |
naijaboiy:you sound so worrying to me. Listen up, the woman didn't call me aside to tell me this, she didn't even mention my name. She gave out a prophesy about the girl DURING a service which I was present. Guy fish never finish for ocen nah so why should I create a fuss? Morever, she isn't just the one for me..PEriod! |
naijaboiy:What would you have done in my position? |
TrapQueen77:Honey you have to learn how to have patience...its a virtue ![]() |
TrapQueen77:hope you learnt a thing |
naijaboiy:Nope she didnt...I was there when the words came out from her Prohetess's mouth |
I have countless times read on social. Media how people ( Ladies esp) have been mudered in cold blood by a fomer guy whom claimed to love them for for some reasons she couldn't continue with the relationship. The problem is that most females just don't know courtesy and would blab their mouth at the slightest opportunity. For your info, never underestimate the influnce of emotional truama of the victim of a broken relationship. Reason is that sometimes these people see in their future and make certain sacrifices ( spiritually, physically and emotionally ), and ending such relationship makes them feel they have been maltreated and the only thing they look out for is REVENGE! Remember sometime ago when a lady ended a relationship I had believed so much in was going to lead to the altar. I invested so much of whatever I could afford in it to make her happy. I saw the signs but I hoped it would change. But one thing I liked about her was her diplomacy. She always took her time to talk about the possibility of things, even while we were dating. So she took her time to explain to me why it wasn't going to lead to marriage ( her Prohetess said so). She was very calm, respectful, understanding about the whole thing because she knew what that meant for me. Most girls don't realise the power of diplomacy and respect to feelings of others. I understood her, although I felt so bad but I had to move on ( she had given me a good reason) with my life. So if people can learn to respect the feelings of broken hearted guy ( esp those without the fear of GOD), then they would be saving themselves some troubles. |
richylee:And " impregenate her too"....you left that part out |
melejo:I am not saying she isn't also at fault for the confrontation, but what I am saying is that Dino should have been very mindful of his choice of words. He would have called her all sort of names and I tell you bro no one would have blinked an eye, but to have used the word " impregenate" on a married woman is a no- no. I can't even imagine myself in the shoes of Tinubu cos I seriously would have been tempted to wipe that guy off the face of this earth and serve a lesson to people like him that you know when not to cross a line. Get this clear : Mrs Remi also acted and behaved wrongly towards Dino |
omogerohprecious:If someone stood up to your mother in your presence and say to her " I will beat you up...and impregnate you", what would be your reactions? Please I am thirsty for your reply |
OZAOEKPE:Pls use that thing called a "brain" in you when typing. You should speak for yourself cos I strongly condemn the words ( if true) used by Dino on remi no matter how she may have provoked her! You don't cross the line cos if you do you might get hurt and he did that exactly. It is a known fact that women have a way with their mouths but you have just ggot to understand that is the way they are made. I tell you that a lot of strong men have been brought down to earth just by a woman and am afraid if this is not looking like one of them. Please count me out on support for Dino based on his occurent indiciplined, shameful, disgraceful behaviors since he got into the " Big Boys political cacus". Just count me out! |

The UBA boss, Tony Elumelu, expressed his admiration for the security guard, whose behaviour offers encouragement that there are still some who value honesty. Mohammed Ibrahim Ogbanago, a security guard who works at Nigeria’s top financial company, United Bank for Africa (UBA), has received recognition for returning a sum of $10,000 to the bank. Ogbanago, who works at the bank’s branch located at Oba Akran, Ikeja, Lagos, reportedly found the money in the premises of the company. Surprisingly, he decided to return it to the bank management. This has earned him the attention of UBA boss, Tony Elumelu, who took to his Instagram to say nice things about him. Elumelu wrote, “When I heard about this story, I knew I had to meet the man who despite facing rising petrol & transportation prices and “tomato ebola” returned such a huge sum of money without recourse to himself.” “It was a pleasant surprise to hear him tell this story and about how he came to be in the board room with us. Even more surprising was hearing him speak about his passion for governance and integrity in leadership.” “Mohammed Ibrahim Ogbanago is an exemplary ambassador of the UBA spirit and it was fulfilling to meet and reward him for his conduct.” “The @UBAGroup management is proud to have this caliber of staff at all levels. Congratulations to Mohammed and keep up the good work”, he concluded. http://pulse.ng/gist/honest-man-uba-security-guard-returns-10-000-to-bank-id5220630.html?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=gist&utm_content=all-over18-mnf-ff&utm_campaign=cat-entertainment

abbeyty:let me educate you abit: The Govt created the NDDC sometime ago through which it has continually improved the life of the South-East Region. A lot of NDS were sent to school, taught several jobs, royalties being paid annually to host communities, job and educational spots offered to them in universities and coporate organisations....What else will do you want the Govt to do for these people? Are we all not Nigerians? Even though I don't get such opportunity despite am from the South-East, yet I ain't complaining atall. These Nd people are so lazy you could cry for them. Although not all of them are lazy though, esp those opportune to have being alittle exposed. But those ones that have never left their village will keep ranting our oil...lubbish |
