Hey guys,

I got my entry clearance and I used a fixed deposit and a letter for my maintenance. Just wanted you guys to know fixed deposit is accepted but you need a letter which includes the term of deposit, the date of the letter, the account number of the fixed deposit, the account associated with teh fixed deposit as well as a statement that the fixed deposit can easily be liquidated to cash, and the funds can be accessed by the student.

i have a quick question for justwise and the others

1) I plan to sit the american GRE in France but I have to apply for a schengen visa, is it possible for me to apply for this visa when i get to the UK. I will only be in france for three day maximum

2) If I get into a school in the US, can I apply for a US student visa in the UK or is it advisable to apply in Nigeria. I dont want to spend money going up and down but I want to do the right thing

Tomorrow is another day again, after public holidays, mine will be 15working days excluding the holidays, if not it suppose to be 17th,
I pray for success at the end. I felt a kind of relief during the holiday and the weekend, because any text msgs on my phone always make my heart beat increase.

@Justwise and the whole Nairalanders, My, friend was refused based on the reason that she did not have access to her uncles fund of which the whole statements both here and abroad show like 700k pounds. but they said she did not have access to it, it was refused after 8working days,23-07-10 to 05-08-10, and she got the text on the 9-08-10.
now she has filed an administraive review as advised by her uncles immigration lawyer.
How long will it take for the result o come out from the Review? kindly reply, and should she defer her admision because the lawyer said she will still meet up since the last date of resumption is 08-10-2010.

@Justwise and the house pls advice on this: my friend have an act with microfinance bank and his step-father would be sponsoring him he had already deposited 2.8m into ds act. Does he need to present his step dad bank statement with his own to show d evidence of where d mny came from.
Also, what r the document dt he must include to show where the money came from.
