I have sent u PM. Can you repky with ur number. Thanks. nefertitiram: Depends on your pocket and stress threshold. It's easier and more expensive to buy from Lagos to Phoenix directly via BA or KLM.
It's cheaper and more stressful to book from Lagos to NY, then take a connecting flight to Phoenix. Most local airlines (except southwestern) will charge you for your check in luggage. Usually in the range of $25 and $35 per bag. Not to talk of the wahala of changing terminals at JFK or changing airports if your local flight is from LGA. PM me if you need assistance |

I was at the US embassy last week and I was given an admin letter to come back with my corresponce with the doctor and a birth plan. I've gotten the corresponce but I feel its not detailed enough. I got a reminder from the doctor about my upcoming appointment and I also replied. Is that enough to take back to the embassy? Also, I'd like to know what a birth plan constitutes. I'm planning on using MIHS. |

Hello, Please I want to ask this question, is about MIHS.
Is the Appointment Letter sent by Francisca enough for visa interview, as the letter states meeting with Financial Counselor not Doctor.
Please shed more light on this especially people that have used and still using MIHS.
Thanks. |

Like what Shawbabe said, no one is a visa officer here, but to me I think your salary is okay, based on what you wrote, I lived in GCC too, and that salary is a good one for an expats from Africa, which of the middle east are you from, if you are based in GCC, either UAE, or Qatar, or KSA, those are the 3 countries your salary can be up to what you said...(14k) you are good to go based on the conversion rate to Naira, your salary should be almost 759k/month that is if you are in UAE or Qatar. Do your home work by contacting the embassy in your country of residence, and have enough fund to cover all your expenses in the states, with God on your side, you will be given. Best of Luck.. Hello good people. I have been a silent reader here. I live in Middle East and working. I want my wife to give birth in US. My salary is over 14k and company provide accommodation and transportation. The only but there is dt I just joined ds company in mid December 2014, though I have been working in living and working here since 2012 dec. When I joined ds company I closed my former salary account and transferred to the new company bank. I want to apply by May. Then my salary would have been 4 month with d bank.
My question is. Can I apply with it been 4 month bank statement? And is d salary okay for yankee visa? Pls my people. Advise me.
Thanks. |

Here also, if you have a good job history and you family is here with you, they don't need much from you before they give you visa, just because most companies pays their staff tickets for vacation, so if you can prove that you have a profession as your status and good salary above 10k per month you are good to go and above all God favour. mom2015: Yes Justwise, i was granted a visa with less dan 250k in my account. Combination of what myself and hubby earns is more dan 1.5m per month including benefits. I was thoroughly advised by people who know me not to put any other funds in my account (even though we had in some other account as we had withdrew some money at that moment) all he checked was my job history and our annual income and my account to prove I received such amount on a monthly basis. I must tell u that I know more than 3-5 families that has done this in mine and hubby's office that were also granted a visa. Like someone rightly said, maybe I was lucky. That means the luck runs amongst my friends and families then. |
