I spent over 30k in total for just WAEC, and i still mourn that wastage till now.
Only send ur highest qualification, or if u have 2 degrees, send the two of them... Please no need for WAEC

It's quite brief and very alerting to those of us that are very open to social media and aren't concerned or disturbed by what we share regularly.

1. PHONE NUMBER OR E-mail:

If it's your mobile phone number, i see no reasons on why you should share your contacts on Facebook with the public.
Prank callers, stalkers, identity fakers, email spammers and contacts seekers could seek to exploit you with such advantage by doing all sorts of things to ridicule your social and personal circle.
If you love talking/mailing to friends on Facebook, try restricting your contact info to friends, school colleagues or only friends of friends, it will minimize vulnerability if your friends are somewhat trustworthy.

2. WORKPLACE:

Why on earth would you want to share your work information if you love privacy and fear Kidnappers. It's scary but they have been cases of people being kidnapped for letting their jobs life go public without proper caution. If it's not a Facebook Page don't share, except you're a public figure.
Next time you think of sharing your workplace, think again.

3. HOME ADDRESS:

No one would love surprise visits from unknown or untold guests, especially if you stay with your parents or otherwise.
I hate surprise visits and so would some of y'all, except sanguine ! To halt such visits, make sure you never share your home address(es) on Facebook except otherwise.
Who knows whether poachers are looking for who to visit!!! Don't be a victim.

4. RELATIONSHIP STATUS OR INTEREST :

If you're married or single, it should stay private, except you don't want poachers trying to sway you to their tune - try keeping it private.
If you are interested in Women or Men it should stay private, except you wanna get hooked up or do something like that.

5. YOUR BIRTHDAY

I actually mean the date like 1989... 1993... everyone loves good birthday wishes. If you don't like amebor analysts crawling your profile for your age information, make it private or restricted to your circle of friends, classmates and families who you trust.

You can create two profile based on your score or who you think would be most qualified based on the parameters of AGE, Education etc....

You can access 25% of your fund, I think is an international law. You can still continue contributing to your RSA fund even if you are outside Nigeria, you can be doing that through your employer. I got to know recently from my pension manager. I have been out of the country for over 4 years now, and the last time I contributed last was when I left Nigeria, to my surprise the fund keep on increasing every month, I mean the interest keep on increasing, and the value is whao now.

I think is worth an investment even if you are out of the country, as Yoruba will say '' ile ni abo isimi oko'' (literary means, no matter how long one stay out, one will still settle back at home).

Just my view.

@bolded: IMO, it may be used as a supporting but not as the primary POF. At least, the applicant can access the fund after 4 months of being unemployed in Nigeria.

I think it is high time Nigerians who have relocated abroad permanently and who are contributors to the pension fund set up a lobby group to make a case for an amendment to the Pension Reform Act (as amended) that would allow people in their category to access 100% of their RSA since they are no resident in Nigeria.

The current regulation did not seem to take into consideration Nigerians in diaspora.

You can elect to be assessed alone. But, your POF must cover 4 people. You won't need to evaluate your husband's credentials and he wouldn't need to sit the IELTS. You can invite him over when you are settled.

However, since you are considering PNP, you could as well guide him to write the IELTS if he offers to pay for it. That way everyone and everything is fine.
The Nova Scotia Demand is currently closed; the one currently open requires that you secure a valid job offer. Follow PNP threads on canadavisa.com forum for updates on open Provinces.

I think Pension Fund cannot be used as POF, is a money that cannot be withdrawn until you reach a certain age, like 50 years and you cant withdraw all, just part of it. And Canada has one of the best policy on retirement, so they must be aware of how the system works.
