Travel / Re: Can We Build This Rail System In Nigeria? by segebobo: 10:47am On Mar 22
God1000:
The upside-down or suspension railway

It's an elevated monorail, wherein the vehicle is suspended from a fixed track, constructed right above waterways or roads. The train dangles beneath a track and carries loads or people. Construction of this monorail started back in 1898, and the train started functioning in 1901

Japan and Germany are the two countries with such railways.

Here are pictures of some train in Japan.

Some of us will not enter. We will be scared it can fall at anytime.
Nevertheless, in no distant future, it is a possibility to have it in Nigeria.

Car Talk / Re: I Went To Driving School Today And I'm Really Giving Up. by segebobo: 10:14pm On Feb 08, 2023
AutoManual:
I went to driving school today and meant with the guys there. I told them I want to learn manual. Even when some of them was telling me manual is fading out that majority of people are preferring to learn auto and they said some people who learn manual also came back to learn auto.

My reason was that if I can learn manual I can learn automatic, because I have heard that from people, I choose 5 days learning and they said 30minus & 1 hour has different prices, but I choose the 5 days 30 minutes, although I bargain the price. I filled the form and the driving session started.

Few minutes that we started I already giving up, I feel like not learning again. My concentration was not even there it was tidius to remember all this I need to do. Because I was forgetting all the things the guy told me before we started.

Here are my problem.
1. Understanding the pendel. Little press the car if jecking. When I applied brake it stop sudden and the vehicle will off abruptly.
2. Losing focus and what to do when I'm tens specially when I am approaching junction or a big car.
3. I am more concerned with the cars at my back or around me because I was moving slowly. The guy keep telling me to forget about them and focus on my side. Is document I filled said I will be the one to pay for damages incurred during the session.
3, knowing how and when to change the gear. I haven't mastered it and I feel it's too hard with the calculations. When I was filling the form there was some disclaimer on the document that I will be held responsible for any damages. I also learnt that the break is sometimes press. It was then I understand that the guy can press the brake from his own side of the car. Although I didn't tell him but I know.

Handling the wheel. To make a turn accurately on the road or control the wheel is really off.

Look like driving is really hard with manual

I was saving and planing to buy a Nigeria use car and I was focusing on manual because I heard people saying it easy to maintain but right now with the look of things I don't think I can buy manual again oh.

The two things I thought today while on the wheel is to buy auto and a small car.

Tomorrow I will go there again to learn and keep this thread updated.

Locate a fairly big field, and start your lessons from there. Place objects to mark obstructions on the road just like in the attached pic (you can use bottle water). Do this before hitting a major road, it will certainly help you.

Boss!!! Haar!! this go hard o

Please let her be if she has chosen to be with the other person.
I just went through your other threads. I saw she's about 7 years older than you... This is a factor you should carefully consider (it works for some people though).
A point I can't ignore in this issue is that she told you she will fund the wedding... Hmmmm, when a woman tells you this, be careful o. Will you be comfortable with her wearing the trouser in the house?
You are probably angry you lost something good. I learnt a lesson that “when something looks too good to be true, then it is actually too good to be true”

Howdy! I want to note that shopping on the Alibaba Group marketplace is very simple and safe. You can be completely confident in the quality of the product and the security of your personal information. If you read the Alibaba Group reviews here https://alibaba-group.pissedconsumer.com/review.html you will see that their Trade Assurance program eliminates the risk of a failed transaction for both seller and buyer, and transactions are almost always perfect.
My major challenge with Alibaba is how to receive my goods. The only time I ordered through them, I had to request refund after waiting for about 3 months with no receipt of my order

No I did not update it l, I also did not install any software recently.
It fell from my hand about 2 weeks ago but there was no malfunction after the fall… I picked it and it was working normally.
I just plugged it in power (about 64% battery) when it suddenly developed this issue.

BREAKING: Triumph for Biafra as UN tells Nigeria to unconditionally release, compensate Nnamdi Kanu
July 23, 2022

The United Nations, UN Human Rights Council Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, has indicted both Nigeria and Kenya Governments for the arrest and extraordinary rendition, torture and continued detention of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, without due process.

UN therefore, asked Nigerian Government to, “immediate release Kanu unconditionally” and pay him adequate compensations for the arbitrary violation of his fundamental human rights.

It also recommended that Government officials responsible for the torture meted to the IPOB Leader be investigated and punished.

The UN body further directed Nigeria to report back within six months of the transmission of its opinions on Kanu’s matter, steps taken to comply with all the recommendations thereof.

It referred the case of Kanu’s torture to Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment for further consideration

The UN Working Group also threatened to take further action to ensure the recommendations are complied with, noting that both Nigeria and Kenya are signatories to the Convention and should comply.

The 16-page report dated July 20, 2022 was adopted on April 4 by the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention at its 93rd session, held between March 30 – April 8, 2022.
