Stumbled on this article on the blog of this new Bitcoin Exchange. My people wetin una think. Should I sell there? Link to post https://blog.bitkoin.africa/bitkoin-africa-better-localbitcoins/ 1. Escrow All Bitcoin and money in Bitkoin Africa are held on Escrow. On LocalBitcoins, only Bitcoin is held in escrow. This means you cannot get paid fast enough and unscrupulous users can act iffy and decide not to pay you. Several sellers have noted getting many SMS and Emails about getting paid when they did not in fact receive money in their account. This can never happen on Bitkoin Africa. 2. Complete Verification Bitkoin Africa verifies as much about the user as possible. Localbitcoins does not Every user on Bitkoin Africa is verified by phone number, BVN and bank account. This is a Know Your Customer(KYC) requirement for us to increase the level of safety. This means Bitkoin Africa literally knows each person and can trace them in case of any fraudulent behaviour. On LocalBitcoins, the only verification is phone number except the seller requests for another level of verification. We carry out all these by default. 3. No need to be online 24 hours Because your Bitcoin trade already has all the details needed to make the sale, you do not need to be online all the time like on Localbitcoins to make a trade. Once your money/btc is escrowed, anybody can click on your trade and buy/sell without you haven’t to be available to verify anything. We have done all that work for you 4. Instant purchase of Bitcoin If you already own a Bitcoin wallet, you can instantly buy Bitcoin from a seller without any signup. You select a seller you want to buy from, enter your Bitcoin address and receive the Bitcoins immediately you make the payment via your bank or ATM Card. 5. Buy Bitcoin with Bank or Card One of our goals as a company is to allow everyone buy Bitcoin. We believe it is the future of currency and financial technology as we know it. On Bitkoin Africa, you can make payment with your card by entering the details securely or pay with your bank account number. Each transaction can only be approved with an OTP for second level authentication. The OTP is uniquely generated by your bank and sent to your phone to approve the transaction. We have enabled this feature in partnership with Paystack. Paystack is a popular online payment provider in Nigeria and they are verified by the CBN to provide payment services. This means they have fraud detection, SSL Encryption and have passed several other security tests. All your payment details are secure. 6. Credit alert upon sale Thanks to Paystack, we can credit your bank account as soon as you sell your Bitcoin on Bitkoin Africa. Due to certain clearing delays, it might take a few hours for you to get the credit alert. 7. Easier to use Bitkoin Africa is easy to use. Our software development team has years of experience developing software for Africans and ensures the website is up to speed. It loads in less than 5 seconds. We’ve also made it easier to use with a beautiful and yet simple user experience. |
Sempumping:Well nobody can carry out any transactions with just your BVN. So there's no need to panic |
Bitkoin Africa is also a great place to buy and sell Bitcoin. The money and Bitcoin is placed in escrow until the transfer is absolutely complete. This means no need to stress yourself and contact buyers or sellers like on Local Bitcoin. There is also 0 risk of fraud as every user is verified by Phone number, BVN and Bank account. Watching ‘Tales by moonlight’ on NTA was a Sunday night ritual for many Nigerian kids in the 90s. ‘Tales by moonlight‘ brought the ancient tradition of storytelling at sunset to television. The stories were told by an elder who has children sitting at her feet and many Nigerian children were transported into a world of folktales and the animal kingdom. Puppets usually enacted the stories, and the children got to sing along too. The most important part of these folktales were the rich moral lessons. 1. Rushing to get a good spot in front of the television on Sunday night. 2. The joy of hearing the Tales by moonlight soundtrack. 3. And being jealous of the kids who got to sit at Aunty Nkem’s feet. 1. Ojota Ojota used to be a military settlement in the late 18th century and soldiers practised their shooting there. The area had several gun firing spots and became known as “Oju Ota” in Yoruba which means “Bullet spots”. It later metamorphosed into Ojota which it is called now. 2. Abule Egba This area is on the outskirts of Lagos and got its name from the early settlers who were Egba people from Abeokuta. The area was first called “Abule awon egba” in Yoruba, which means “Village of Egba people”. It later became “Abule Egba”. 3. Apongbon Apongbon is one of Lagos’ most popular markets, and it’s also quite close to the popular Oke-Arin market. It got its name from the then acting governor of the Lagos colony, William McCoskry, who had a Red Beard. The Yorubas who couldn’t pronounce the colonial governor’s name decided to describe him by his red beard and started calling him “Oyinbo to pon ni igbon” meaning a red-bearded man. It later became Apongbon. Is there any area you know the meaning of? The news came as shock to many RCCG members as well as the Nigerian general public. Pastor Adeboye who had headed the church since 1981 named Pastor Joshua Obayemi as his successor on Saturday at the Annual Minister’s Thanksgiving service in Ogun state. Although Pastor Obayemi is the new GO of the RCCG Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye remains the GO of RCCG worldwide. The church has branches in about 190 countries in the world.
