Tbh, I am in-between.
I can't totally criticize those leaving nor call those staying back stupid.
Moving has it's merits and demerits just like staying back.
It is just for someone to weigh his options and know the pros and cons of their actions and ready to face it but generally, the advantage of going to western countries is -
1. Foreign certificate gives you better job with higher earnings.
2. Strong passport that won't make you to be wasting money on visas or delays or visa denial.
3. Their economy is so developed that you can virtually work in any sector and live a good life and can easily get a good job without connections or letters from kings/senator/governor/local government chairman just to get a decent job.

What is stopping you from getting the foreign certificate from here by studying on distance learning

Ask Nigerians that did their Msc here in the UK, how many of their course mates were British?

Anyone here in the UK with a NVQ Level 3 Diploma (equivalent to OND) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering ·will get employed before a Nigerian who obtained Msc Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Go to many factories and warehouses in the UK and see many Nigerian Msc graduates working as packers to earn their honest daily bread with Eastern Europeans whey no enter university for one day, as their supervisors and managers. ·

Is this what our selfishness has led us to?

What is stopping us from using our brains to make our own communities and country better, as Britons have done and Asians who were colonised by Britain

I don't think so, its nearly impossible for someone not in their cacus or corridor of power to come out to contest and win election or be a serious contender or else the person was sponsored.

That's why it's difficult for Good person to lead this country

So how do you expect this to change?

What efforts did the oyinbos make to get situation in their country better

Nigeria cannot develop with almost all the set of people at the corridor of power. They don't have or know what's take to turn around a country for better than flexing

How did they get there if not for the more unserious masses letting them

If serious investors went near the state when non-twerking APC governors were in charge, why did they end up owing pensions and half salaries

Majority of our people are not smart

Foreign airlines have been riping you off for years charging exhorbitant price

Air peace entered the market and crashed the prices

Now the smart foreign airlines now remembered that they can now slash there prices

I know Nigerians
They won't do the right thing

They will still follow there oppressors

But Air Peace should just continue there match

They will still grab significant part of the market share

Following foreigners and former colonial masters to the disadvantage of our own brands is our thing, even as we need to put up constructive criticism to make our own brands better.

Is this not what we are doing with English and other European football clubs? And then we cluelessly blame them for our failure to develop. No be juju be that

Yes, that should have been the right move. Air peace met some airlines operating from Nigeria to UK, it's insensitive of Air peace to slash the pice without no proper consultation with other airlines.

If Air peace ticket to London is $700, na to just drop theirs to $650.

Everyone is allowed to play the game

Can you please share verifiable information about how Glo consulted with MTN and Airtel before they slashed their rates, following the telecom industry deregulation of the Obasanjo PDP administration.

That would help us understand whether you are just doing balablu blabbing or you should be taken seriously.
