Hello Gurus, I'm done reading the thread from part 2-3, it's an everyday motivation however, I will be applying in December as im taking my time to build my bank statement. Here are the questions I want to ask for now; 1) Is it okay to book a hotel 8km away from where tourist attractions are? 2) I have other source of income which is my land that generates income, can i explain to the ECO in an additional box or do I have to write a cover letter in a company letter headed paper? I intend to stay for 7 days, my monthly salary is 200k after tax and the account balance should be 1.1M. Won't it be a problem if im spending 2 and half months of my salary on the trip? Pls advice me |
justwise:I want to book the hotel for 5 days to cut the expenses. And come back to Naija |
justwise:Thanks brother, that means in will book a hotel. Is 5 or 7 days trip okay? Because i dont want to spend too much of my income on the trip. My monthly salary is N200k after tax. I should be having 1.2million as a closing balance on my bank statement. What do you think sir? Thanks |
justwise:@Justwise I meant i will applying for a visa in January and my in-law is inviting me this time. Won't it look unrealistic because the last time i applied I stated that I didn't know anybody in UK I hope you understand my point, brother? Thanks as always |
justwise:Thank you @Justwise, one more question brother, i was refused almost 2years ago becuase I didnt state places of visit. And I stated in my visa application that I didnt know anybody in UK Now my in-law wants to invite me over on a 7day visit. Will that jeopardize my chance of getting a visa? Looking forward to reading from you. Thanks |

Hello Gurus, I want to apply for a visa in December. Please I'd like to know if UK embassy accepts affidavit of land documents as my first name on the documents is different from the name on my travel passport. Please advice. Thanks |
Thanks for getting back me, cash payment was only paid in June, I want to apply for a visa in December quote author=askari01 post=48134304] Ok, when was the very first time cash payment was remitted into ur account and when do u want to apply? How much is ur Salary...[/quote] |
Thanks @FrontPageLawyer for your swift response, there are no inconsistent deposits, but i sure receive funds from other clear sources into my account and which i have evidence for it. Also i'm sure my company will explain the cash deposit properly to the ECO when it's time for me to apply. I will be keeping in touch if i have more questions Thanks and more power to your elbow. Hello @askari01 @justwise and other gurus, Please I would like to know if a bank statement has to show 6 months salary payment or it should only be 6 months transaction history? Reason is because the small company I'm working once paid my salary via cash deposit and right after that it had been paid via company bank transfer and I don't want the cash deposit to reflect when I'm printing out my bank statement when it's time to apply for a UK visa Please advise and God bless you all |
What a good forum, i'm always learning here and I hope to ask more questions when it's time for me to apply for UK visit visa. God bless us all |
@askari thanks for your response, my monthly salary is N200k after tax. And I have other source of income which the money goes into my salary account and I have proof for that. Kindly advice me of what more step to take. Thanks |
Good morning everyone, I'm new on here and I would need to be advised on this, I work in a company of 7 workers, 2months ago my salary was paid in cash into my bank account by the company and last month salary was transferred from the company's account.
