U have not received ur cos ....no wahala....
Tell ur employer about the situation....they shoukd know that will be an issue...they will update it on ur COS when assigning it to you and give u a new offer letter ......

This is how COS works.... employer request for COS slots from home office....they can get 5 or 10, or wateva....this is the part that takes time
It can take 3 to 6 weeks before home office responds....
but once they get it.... assigning it to an employee and approval after it flows to home office doesnt take more than 24 to 48 hrs.....

So u technically dont have any issues if ur COS has not been assigned to ur name and passport number ..

@ AdvanceDNA please i need your advice.

Please i got an offer letter since February 17 which the pay is 10.42 per hour,although am yet to receive my Cos which they applied for.

Please my question is now that the new minimum wage has increased to 10.75 what can be done about my offer letter which has 10.42 and the already applied COS?

Please guys i need more explanation.

Statutorily, your hourly rate should match the Uk minimum wage so it is highly likely that the rate will be increased.
It is an offence for the company not to pay the statutory wage unless you are underage

u dont know if ur employer has applied.
.home office be like weather...u cant predict their delivery time....so just go and praying
