Question 2
2x + 32{2(-x)} - 12 = 0
Rearranging gives :::>
2x + 32(1/2x) - 12 = 0
Put 2x = s
Substituting into the equation gives us::: s + 32/s - 12 = 0 s2 + 32 - 12s = 0
:. s2 - 12s + 32 = 0 Factoring gives :::
s2 - 8s - 4s + 32 = 0 s(s - 8 ) - 4(s - 8 ) = 0 :. s - 8 = 0 or s - 4 = 0
s = 8 or s = 4
Recall that s = 2x Putting back gives :::>
2x = 8 or 2x = 4 2x = 23 or 2x = 22
Thus ::::>
x = 3 or x = 2
Question 4
{3n - 3(n-1)}/{33× 3n - 27 × 3(n-1)}
Let's first apply the law of indices ::::
3^(n - 1) can be rewritten as ::: 3n ÷ 31 = 3n ÷ 3
So that the expression becomes :::
{3n - 3n ÷ 3}/{33× 3n - 27 × 3n ÷ 3}
Then let's put 3n = s
Substituting 3n = s back into the expression will give us :::
{s - (s ÷ 3)}/{33× s - 27 × s ÷ 3}
Factoring s in both the numerator and denominator, gives ::::
s{1 - (1/3)}/s{33 - 27/3} with s cancelling out, leaves us with:::: :. {1 - (1/3)}/{27 - 9) = (2/3)÷18 = (2/3)(1/18) = (1/3)(1/9) = 1/27 |

Omotayor123: True! Education has nothing to do with Age. But Noun was specially founded for working class Adult. Check out Jamb brochure * Noun was listed under specialized institutions. That's Why I Made d earlier comment. The Youths in Noun should av known Better..... Oh well; I don't know about the bold, but I still believe that it's wrong and unlawful to exclude NOUN youths from serving the Nation! NOUN is an accredited Federal University; so, it's graduates should be accepted into the NYSC just as graduates of other accredited institutions abroad are accepted for youth service regardless of whether the college is for youths or working adults! And to be sincere with you, I have never heard anywhere in the world that a school is founded "specially" for working adults; even if there is, it will be illogical to deny youths who attend it youthful privileges because it's a working adult University. It's only in cases of Military Universities that age requirement is applicable for those who intend to serve in the Military after graduation! I believe NOUN like other distant learning centres/institutions was NOT founded "ONLY" for working adults but was created to help working adults study at home as most of their lectures and exams are delivered online! This can as well help youths who want to work full-time handle their studies at the same time; so it's not only meant for working adults! |

Last I checked, it was the Federal Government that created the University and accredited it in the first place; so, why unjustly exclude those who graduated at 30 years of age and below from serving the Nation? That's utter lawlessness! Let them obey the laws of the land and do justice to this issue...that's all! Lawless Country! Smh... |

IJMB's standard is way better than UK A-Levels! I passed Cambridge A-Levels with distinctions in Chem, Phy and Mth studying at home the same year I took JAMB so I know their standards! If your sister is spending 4 years, it's probably because she started with foundation course or maybe she's studying a professional course like Engineering, Pharmacy etc.. Generally, if it's not a professional course, most UK univs are six semesters (3 years) for students with 9ja O-levels and good IELTS or TOEFL scores. Heck some colleges squeeze the 6 semesters program to less than 3 years for courses like computing, IT etc... I have seen IJMB past questions and If not for expos in 9ja and all? You can't compare IJMB with UK A-Levels. Serious students who passed through IJMB are way better and cannot be compared with some UK A-Level dudes! The irony of the whole thing is, after wasting years studying professional courses in 9ja Uni, your counterparts in other Countries that spend a few years studying the same thing would be better than you! sukkot: ahhh but see, the bible backs me up. lets see what jesus means in the bible and lets see how many christs there are and what christ means
FIRST LETS GET THE MEANING OF JESUS
REVELATION 19 VERSE 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. <<<< JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD. ITS NOT A HUMAN BEING. ITS THE NAME OF THE BIBLE. SO GOD CALLS HIS WORD JESUS. IN FACT GOD IS HIS WORD. SO GOD IS JESUS
JOHN 1 VERSE 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. <<< SO GOD AND JESUS ARE THE SAME ENTITY. HE CALLS HIS WORD JESUS BUT HIS WORDS ARE REALLY A PART OF HIM SO HIS WORD IS GOD AND HIS WORD IS JESUS. NOW WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THAT LETS GO TO THE MEANING OF THE WORD CHRIST
CHRIST MEANS TO SEAL THE WORD OF GOD IN SOMEONE. IF THE WORD IS SEALED IN YOU THAT MEANS YOU HAVE BEEN ANOINTED WITH JESUS AND THAT MEANS YOU HAVE BECOME JESUS-CHRIST WHICH MEANS THE ' MAN ANOINTED WITH THE WORD OF GOD ' .
SO JESUS CHRIST ARE THE SAINTS OF GOD WHO ARE MEN ANOINTED WITH HIS WORD SO THEY CAN GO OUT AND BE HIS REPRESENTATIVES ON EARTH. SO NOW LETS ESTABLISH THERE ARE MANY CHRISTS
1 CORINTHIANS 15 VS 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. <<< SO FROM THIS VERSE IN THE BIBLE WE ESTABLISH THERE ARE MANY CHRISTS
MEANING JOSEPHUS AND ALL THOSE GUYS YOU MENTIONED WERE LIARS LOOKING TO GET FAME FROM WRITING BOOKS, NOT UNLIKE PEOPLE TODAY WRITING BOOKS ABOUT JESUS LOOKING FOR FAME.
