It is a difficult one for Wike I agreed with you. Unfortunately among them they don't thinkers who factor in every matrix of reasoning to agreement. The Chairman of APC has said there is no automatic ticket for anyone. This is one hurdle. There are so many I won't mention here.

If there's no automatic ticket for anyone as the chairman said, who's that person in Rivers State they want to give the ticket to against a sitting governor? That's a risk too high to take, and Tinubu as I know him wouldn't want to take that kind of risk The APC chair is just bluffing! He will be made to fall in line later on. Wike seem to be in panic mood, and it seem the presidency is willing to throw him under the bus. Tinubu is doing everything right now to get all the votes he can from the south and he wouldn't want to hand APC ticket to someone who's chances are slim.

Fubara as usual reneged on all their agreement. This is the place I have problems with him. Why agree in what you can't fulfill? Why enter into agreement even in the present of the president and later reneged?
Does it mean that the president has a hand in all these? There is no way a president will broker a peace deal and someone reneged on it and still be a friend to the president. Wike is insisting Fubara honour the agreement he had with him before the state of emergency was lifted. Those who support Fubara say that the agreement was reached when he was in PDP.

But you don't expect that agreement to still stand now that he's in APC na! Even the president knows this. How do you stop someone who's now in your party from re-election, when APC is doing everything possible to bring other governors to its fold. Wike doesn't want Fubara to contest, and the president is not buying that at all! Where do you think Fubara is getting the audacity to re-contest from? He has obviously gotten strong assurances from the presidency!
