The moment you entered this thread, sanity escaped.
Goosethetruth: Stop telling lies... In 1966 before the civil war, Ibos consistently slaughtered Hausa/Fulanis living in the Eastern region. In some instances as first attack to stop the Hausa/Fulanis from escaping back to the North. In other cases as retaliation. In fact the Ibo gave as good as they got in blood shedding. There are so many testimonies of witnesses at the Oputa panel of Ibo genocidal attacks on fleeing Hausa/Fulanis.
They never admit to anything but always cry wolf. They have long pushed the victimhood narrative in Nigeria while cleverly hoping that the rest of Nigeria forget the role they played. They are a very dangerous people. Very, very dangerous.
IGBOPROMISE1: ….As if they actually needed any ‘reason’ to go out on the streets looking for Igbo to hack and butcher to death! Any Igbo that still feels safe and comfortable sharing the same country with two ethnicities in particular (one in the north and the other in the south) needs to have their head checked! Naive peeps see the bile and vitriol aimed at Ndigbo on this forum, and think it’s just play or banter!
It is what you give that you will receive. Law of karma. Capishe?
gidgiddy: It's funny how unity beggars go back 60 or 70 years ago to find reasons to protect their useless 'one Nigeria' that has never worked
So now we are the unity beggars. Whether you like it or not, you're an extension of your history and we will continue to shove it down your throat. It's convenient for you to not forget the 1966 massacre of Ibos and their bitter defeat in the civil war but the other parts should be forgotten by us, abi? Hypocrisy.
AntiZikist: The original plan was only to liberate old mid western region and minority areas of the old eastern region.
It was your parasitic elites led by Azikiwe that lobbied Gowon to bring you back.
The case of Ojukwu going absolutely mad in seeing Sabos everywhere in his own cabinet and army proves that you Ibos sabotaged your Biafra when the SS was liberated from your Biafra.
You had a golden opportunity to leave Nigeria by negotiating an end to the war after the Niger Delta areas were liberated but instead of doing that you went back to meet Gowon to bring you back to Nigeria and help drive the drunkard philandering Ojukwu out .
Gowon being a super minority in the minority groups in the north, agreed to allowing you back because he and his fellow middlebelt Christian officers saw a bigger Nigeria as a check mechanism to the Fulani Islamic agenda.
I dare you now to do the right thing via your elected leaders and legislators and see if anyone from outside your yeast will oppose the secession of Biafra .
All this your Biafra agitation online and it's terrorist offline activities targeting your own people is all a ruse as we both know from obi's presidential bid that you guys are not ready and will never ever be ready to leave Nigeria. So save your bullshit Biafra crap for the idiots you scam regularly to contribute money for your dead end Biafra scam.
This hate-driven lie of ‘Igbo greed and domination’ may have flown in the 60s, 70s, 80s and even 90s, but discerning and neutral observers now have the benefit of hindsight to know just who the greedy and domineering ones are! Try another gimmick!
Ok. Whatever makes you happy. But history will not change for you. That you're not well informed about your past is not anybody's fault. 😉
gidgiddy: Yes he Zik should have known that Nigeria would never work, but it is not for the present generation to continue the mistake he made. We should dissolve and go our seperate ways, we don't need secession clause for that, there was no unity clause before the British merged us together
Then go back to the British to dissolve us since they started it
gidgiddy: Then admit you can't do without Igbos. If you could, allowing them to go their way wouldn't be a problem
You have cognitive dissonance o. Because if not, you should have understood that he has told you to go back to your land locked ancestral homes but leave the SS out of it. Now do you understand?
gidgiddy: Just goes to show the catastrophic mistake it was for the British to have created Nigeria, and why we all should have gone our seperate ways long time ago
At least Zik should have known that before completely scuttling every attempts to make provisions for secession in the constitution which would have paved an easy way for a quiet break away. His fake nationalism was actually a supremacists agenda.
DomPerignon: Well it didn't help you guys by mocking the murder of prominent northerners like the PM, Sarduna and military officers of northern extraction.
I heard Ibos in Kano went about telling their northern hosts that they were now fully in charge of the country.
There was even a record released celebrating the murder of the Sarduna.
Ibos even printed and circulated banners and calenders mocking the Sarduna being slaughtered with Kaduna Nzeagwu portrayed as Angel Micheal standing over a dead Sarduna that was depicted as Satan.
You brought this to yourselves.
But let's not ignore that Ibos also began murdering northerners in the occupied Midwest and across Biafra. The Ibos also systematically were murdering and genociding entire minority people in both the Midwest and occupied coastal lands of Biafra.
You were no saints.
What happened was simply instant karma in the form of FAFO (Fck Around , Find Out).
I used to have some pity for you guys over what transpired in the north but the hidden atrocities you committed on my people in the SS has made me come to realise that whatever the northerners did to you was justified.
And from the fact that it's only Aboki you guys no dey carry Una madness join body shows you only understand violence to reset your brains.
gidgiddy: But Igbos were being massacred in the North long before that. Google the 1945 Jos Massacre and the 1953 Kano massacre
The Kano riot of 1953 refers to the riot, which broke out in the ancient city of Kano,[1] located in Northern Nigeria, in May 1953. The nature of the riot was clashes between Northerners who were opposed to Nigeria's Independence and Southerners, made up of mainly the Yorubas and the Igbos who supported immediate independence for Nigeria. The riot that lasted for four days claimed many lives of the Southerners and Northerners and many others were wounded. The last straw that broke the camel's back was the tour by a delegation of the AG and NCNC led by Chief Samuel Akintola. That tour which was aimed at campaigning for self-government acted as the immediate cause of the Kano riot. It sparked off a chain of disorder that culminated in the riot. The riot took place at Sabon Gari an area predominantly occupied by southern Nigerians. (Culled from Wikipedia)
The 1945 Jos riots were a series of ethnic conflicts which occurred in the city of Jos, located in Plateau State, Nigeria, between ethnic Igbos and Hausa-Fulani.
The 1945 Jos riots were fueled by a combination of factors, including competition for political power, economic resources, and disputes over land and religious differences. The conflicts have mainly been between the predominantly Muslim Hausa-Fulani ethnic group and the predominantly Christian Igbo ethnic group, although other groups have also been involved.
Misconceptions: Contrary to popular beliefs the 1945 Jos riots was a potato market riot,[1] and not a massacre or religious war. Though the death toll is unknown, multiple reports put the figure of not more than two people dying.[2]
(Culled from Wikipedia).
Stop spreading lies and making it an Igbo thing alone.
T9ksy: Op, am not trying to hold btief for the perpetrators of that dastardly act in kano in1966 however, i can bet my bottom dollar that these guys don't give a flying ph.o.c.k whether you forget or not.
My point is, wtf are you igbos gonna do about it? Remember, last time you attempted to do something about it, you went on to lose 3 millions more........
Apart from wailing and gnashing of teeth, whatesle can you all do?
See, they never even lost up to that number. What we fail to recognize is that the Eastern region of then comprised of other ethnic nationals that makes up the SS and parts of middle belt of today, apart from Ibos. I am talking about the Ibibios, Anangs, Ogoja, Ika, Ijaw, Igala, Idoma and so on. These peoples were mostly affected by the war but Ibos are acting as if they were the only ones affected. The Ibos actually oppressed and dominated these groups, forcing them to join Biafra army and killed so many of them within the Eastern region during the war. Their elders will tell you about the atrocities of Ibos during the war. They entered the Mid West and massacred Binis, Esan, Urhobo, Ikwere and Isoko peoples, forcefully occupying their space. Yet the Ibos have been crying like they were the only victim of the war. They tried to dominate but failed and everything boomeranged on them.
GMIS: because of a coup that happened by some senior Military men. It was referred to a Whole Tribe?
See, you need to look at things holistically. Prior to the coup, an ethnic group in Nigeria was recognized by other ethnic groups in the same enclave as having a supremacists and expansionist ideology which was regularly touted by a certain leader of that ethnic group, identified as Zik. Infact, Zik said in a newspaper publication that the Ibos were primed to rule the rest of Africa. Imagine making such a careless statement in a country, albeit, a continent with a myriad of cultures and ethnicity? This mentality was objectified by the activities of this same ethnic group in that, despite trailing behind the Western region in all things, they had the highest number of personnel in the federal civil service, most senior army officers, highest number of VCs in Nigerian Universities, and the list goes on. They dominated everywhere. This was not because the Ibo had the most talented peoples. It was simply because of nepotism and graft fueled by the Zikist agenda. He was so greedy that he attempted to become the Premier of the Western region. He was booted out by Yorubas. Zik then went back to the Eastern region to unseat the Premier who was an Ibibio man and installed himself as Premier. Zik later became president and he used all his resources to fight Awolowo after even betraying the latter. He used his position as president to make the aforementioned nepotism and graft an endemic which propelled his ethnic group to the forefront. The other nationalities saw this but kept quiet, not until a coup was executed by predominantly Ibo officers. The coup was unnecessarily bloody. Top ranking Yoruba and Northern officers were killed. Somehow, Ironsi and other Ibo officers were spared. The Premiers in the North and West were killed. But somehow, Michael Okpara, the Eastern Premier went on vacation moments before they struck. The Prime Minister, Balewa, was killed, but somehow, Azikiwe, the president went on vacation a day before the coup. So who is fooling who? Then Ironsi took over and instead of meting out justice on the coup plotters, he kept them in a lounge in Dodan Barracks, pretending to imprison them. Instead of executing Zik and Okpara, to make the equation balanced, he went about imposing a decree that concentrated all powers to himself. As if that wasn't enough, Ibo residents and traders in the North, in their characteristic arrogance, disrespect and disdain for their hosts anywhere they go, even up till date, started mocking the Northerners, making jest of their killed leaders (the Sadauna and the Prime Minister) and drawing their caricatures with a goat head. They mocked them to their faces and bragged about their now established dominance in Nigeria. That was what culminated to the bloody retaliation from the North which Ibos can never forget till today.
He who breaks the wasp nest must not complain about being stung.
UltraSolid: Abi OO. There is always a laughable disconnection between how the Igbo man percieves himself and the reality on ground.
According to Azikiwe "Igbos are destined to lead black Africa" yet illiterate cultist killers are subjugating and killing world class professors and technocrats in the SE because Igbos, from their professors to illiterate Market women, decided to bow before a London Yahoo boy called Nnamdi Kanu.
Still, they will never reflect on their self-inflicted problems. It is to blame Yorubas and Fulanis for all their woes to then be shouting Biafra. Is it not why their region is a death and terror camp today with Kanu convincing a people who are supposedly intelligent that they must fight Fulanis bloodily by killing and terrorising fellow Igbos?
These, according to Azikiwe, are the people "destined to lead black Africa" when they cannot even lead themselves productively or exemplarily ? Laughable.
It's just crazy how someone will just sit down and arrogate a characteristic and position for himself and his people without any concrete evidence. The supremacist and expansionist ideology is what the Igbo tribe is all about since the inception of this country. They started nepotism, stealing of public funds, and other forms of corruption. But the Yoruba will continue stopping them like they stopped Zik and his corrupt tendencies.
tundegan: They should build more in the South East.
The people need all the help they can get.
You mean the richest people in Nigeria? They need help? You must be kidding us. Their region is already "devil-loped". That is why they are helping to do same in Lagos.
SadiqBabaSani: As ffg is planning to construct 6 7 new dams to encourage Agriculture, they should remember to construct same in the South East to encourage Agriculture. This will boost food security and create employment in the region
So that erosion can finish the remaining real estate there, abi? De play. Yinmu.
obasanjonews: Spiritual leader Mahara Ji cautions Primate Ayodele against making negative predictions about President Tinubu and Nigeria, urging for positivity in guiding the nation’s future.
Satguru Maharaj Ji, the founder of One Love Family, has strongly warned Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church to stop making negative prophecies about President Bola Tinubu.
Maharaj Ji also cautioned Ayodele about making predictions regarding Nigeria's downfall.
Maharaj Ji stated that Ayodele's predictions of doom and disaster will not come to pass.
He encouraged Ayodele to take lessons from Primate Olabayo, TB Joshua, and others whose negative predictions eventually led them into trouble.
Responding to Ayodele's claim that Tinubu's administration lacks a solution for Nigeria’s economic challenges, Maharaj Ji questioned why a spiritual leader would consistently predict negative outcomes.
Remember that Ayodele recently referred to Nigeria's economic situation as hypertensive, indicating that Nigerians will face ongoing hardship until there is an economic reset—something he suggested the current government might not be capable of implementing.
In response to Ayodele's statement, Mahara Ji remarked that the religious figures in both the Bible and Holy Quran are recognized for their devotion to a God who embodies peace, unity, love, and happiness.
He believes that Primate Ayodele's negative prophecies are tantamount to treason.
Maharaj Ji stated: "Even when negative aspects about their nation or individuals come to light, they pray against such occurrences. Anything contrary is seen as deviant and ungodly because darkness vanishes in the presence of Light."
They should be immediately recognized as acts of Divine intervention.
Through these and similar prophecies, Primate Ayodele often gives the impression of being a politician in clerical attire.
Upon examining the prophecy in question, it becomes evident that it represents a personal and politically motivated opinion from a religious figure. This perspective is being utilized by marine forces to destabilize both the populace and government, steering them away from their path to greatness. It appears to be a neo-colonialist tactic designed to incite conflict among the people, which equates to an act of treason.
If his past predictions as a proponent of colonialism have not materialized, he should reflect and return to the righteous path of religious integrity.
Maharaj Ji suggests that if Ayodele's negative predictions result in the country's downfall, even the prophet of doom will face consequences.
Satan Guru Maharaj Ji is looking for relevance. Hunger don finish am.
