Crying voices Crying out loud to the world outlarge, i feel my voice sink,like some sailors in a wrecked vessel. The smile on my face all wiped out, like greens unwatered in the summer. How then can some voice reach the world? Feeling my dead tongue buried, all because it lost its strength. Does that now mean dead soldiers have no honour? Deep in the sleeps,i feel my dreams buried, like castles hanging in the air. Where then did love go, or Should we then call him a fairytale? I thought i once heard life say love lives, but today i see love lived. No wonder why my voice keeps to cry, with no ears close to ground. How then can my voice be heard, or should it be buried because its orphan's. poppylove...... |

It is quiet now. The nameless officers for State Security shrug on their overcoats and head home through pre-dawn streets. Oiled locks turn, then turn again. The general snores. You will think it cold, the way it fingers open eyes, the darkened cheekbones, the blood between the legs. You will think it deaf as generals the way it stands beside the ones still dying and moves on. But see how weightlessly it gathers them, the gold curl and the ebony, with what tenderness the folded silence of the ribs. |
