That's a wrap for the day. Approx 8% on the day and 10% for week.its working. Took quite a while to reach. And even had a nasty drawdown. But composure is at an all time high now. Cheers...

Okay can't help it anymore. But if there are people here who are really into support and resistance and still manually draw them on their charts I might have something for you. A support and resistance script to just draw everything for you once. If 5 to 10 likes, then there are people; so I will share. Else no need of course. Cheers... |
redsox11:They always bring it. It's what the market simply has to do lol. Always à smooth and steady week for you. That's perfection ![]() I have pm for you... |
redsox11:For the trend entry it helps to counter-trend and suffer enough in the hand of that kind of setup. Plus there were other pointers that created a kind of confluence. The buy was just my regular counter trend setup. One of my battle lines ...Its looking really good now. Thank God and thanks again for your fantastic shares... |
Week back in some profit after a really strong trading day. There was every opportunity to earn lots more on the trades I just closed. But I just want to wait till tomorrow to bite again. Nice to be able to both trend and counter-trend EU today (sold in the morning and bought near current bottom. I still expect more upside but I am done already)... |
Awesome Duru... What's happening man? Since he stopped chatting I think I saw him online at least once. Was he banned?? |
redsox11:And I got a pm for you boss... |
Dang I left this to go rack up losses on EA yesterday . For the sake of learning outcomes...
|
redsox11:You know like drawing a battle line. I waited for price to cross the most extreme line. Then go to lower tf and look for wammies etc. It didnt work for this guy. The kind of trend you want to join instead . Mercifully AUDCAD did some great good overnight. Lessons learnt... |
redsox11:Already had enough of EA for one day. Turning a profit week to red currently. Worse part was it totally captivated my attention as I tried to use PA at lower tfs for entry. Lesson: I go back to set and forget entries with calculated sl and if necessary tp. Missed profits elsewhere and racked up losses fighting a really really powerful trend... I didn't wait long enough nor entered very limited times; sorry . But which fundamentals happened to euro again today that was so bad?? |
obakovich:Thanks. Keep looting chairman. This is the correct way to trade ... |
redsox11:That's their own problem. My system eyes are on CAD instead... I have pledged to use just one particular setup out of the many I am evaluating this week. It creates enough signals already. Will see how it goes... |
obakovich:Hope H1 is not a snail here? Can't go under H1 because of spreads... |

redsox11:You are the real boss of a truth. I enjoyed more than a fair share of the usd rally yesterday but it was still not a profit week (though a fantastic one of learning) . I get in and out of far too many trades impulsively and just spill money unnecessarily... Also, maybe I am being too flexible, but as I trade my method I continue to try learn what the market does under different circumstances and improve, adapt or even reverse my play depending. Afterall I am not trying to boss market but utilize it... There are also other areas in which I am looking to improve my approach. These things tend to cloud the mind at first. But eventually become clearer with more experience. I don't think what I have is a system. More like a concept with many parts which I am still striving to put together in a solid and firm manner. Still a lot of work to do with exits no doubt. I must start to leave trades longer... |
redsox11:I second. And Femora the silent killer. I think I have some idea about this guy's personality. But I might be wrong, again. Hope your week was solid boss? I was hoping to announce wild profits this week. But it is what it is ... |
Truest:Very touching man. One of the things I have been trying to say here we seriously risk on many accounts. So that we should have a backup (or better co-running plan). I really wish I could help. All I can say is you should probably stop blaming others your your situation and just get ahead with it. Many things you can just do to get starting capital and go from there. Continuing to blame others will not help you to forget unneeded baggage which will definitely hamper your progressive thinking. Just get ahead with your life and forget the past... You just need to look inward and find your best and get on with that no matter what anyone says or thinks or does. You should not need others to act well before you survive sir... |
GladmanGoddey:Nice work. Keep it up bro... I envy your week small ... |
seyiade26:Okay. I think I was probably right before. Maybe it's like BB but not BB ... |
redsox11:Okay I think I have some idea the kind of BB settings to look like that! Old reply was a bit forward. It's EMA right?? Cheers... Week has not been very rewarding mostly because of indiscipline again. With such a small account you are in a hurry to amplify things quickly. But will end up with opposite if not careful... |
Tunderr:The probability is even higher now. Cheers... |
alphaNomega:LOL. Are you saying what I think? |
Yes I am wondering too whether Tunderr is naijababe on FF. But I doubt... |
Lol . Happy weekend everyone. Enjoy and recharge. Cheers.. |
AwesomeDuru:You did probably worse to AK284 the other day and here you are . He made a very respectful and harmless suggestion and you just went rampant. You almost had a good point. But even then there is a way to put it... |
redsox11:Always on point my boss. More power... Indeed yesterday I made enough profit by mid-asian session to close shop for the day (almost night-owling . But I regretted closing the trades before tp (previous bad reversals were hunting). Woke up to find price went beyond most of my tps and regretted the lost potential profit. So what I did (since I just had to trade and no new setups were forming) was trade against my system (based on the premise I knew I was likely to lose if I tried entering in the same direction). As you might expect it was just back and forth with no real gain or loss... I just have to chill... |
infofirst:Boss I think you are right. Maybe my comment was maybe impulsive. I entered gbpchf at the top Tuesday or Wednesday when it dropped massively but I totally missing out on the drop because I set breakeven too quickly when it was ranging after the first drop at the start of the day. The brief rally just took me out before the eventual big move down. Great inefficiency there. Also today I was a part of the first big drop in the morning. By the end account was at around 20-30% increase for week and I did get out near the bottom before the rally again. After that I kept re-entering at meaningless points expecting the drop to resume quickly (terrible judgement entirely removed from my methods). That's where I screwed up not just today but many times this week. The 'gamble' itself that was one of the final trades today was GJ sell. There were many other inefficiencies this week; like reversals at points where I knew price could reverse on me, but just hoped it would pass and reach my tp. Price ends up reversing there. Other times the exact opposite happens. I do use split trades but there are so many levels so this area can never be an exact science. Bottom line is entry is not my problem, since I have done my homework there . I just need to improve discipline and trade management...Finally my system finally started picking up gbp pairs en-mass around mid-week when most of the big dips had happened. I am continuously tweaking stuff because of the way I trade. Lines or parameters can be changed and the results can be slightly or very different. I am still expecting, specifically GU, GJ and gbpchf to drop some real distance soon and was hoping to get in yesterday or today. As it is I may still get in today if... |
So one complains about some shady action by my broker and the next thing is ban for a week. It is well. Anyways I am not trading again this week as we had enough for 1 week. GBP refusing to go down meaningfully all week and coupled with much indiscipline and half-developed skill in entry and exit, I was staring another losing week in the face today. Just had to enter gambling mode to get around 10pct for week (it was a lot more yesterday before the crazy GJ and GU losses today). It's not really gambling as it was justified trade. Just about twice the usual size. In all we thank God for the week. Learnt big lessons for future. The key thing to learn is to wait. Let the trade chase you and not the other way around. If you are not getting enough trades for your enthusiasm with a system then learn more systems to create more triggers. Cheers... |
infofirst:What if you make your own indicators like I do?? This is not to brag; but maybe to find a bit of side work. Now that all the bosses in the house... ![]() |

I'm not, I don't know who that is. Is she a good trader?
