GladmanGoddey:Fantastic change of mind bro. Enjoy your weekend... |
Happy weekend good people. Hope everyone had happy pipping this week? Please who has checked out SnR2 script (probably forgot to change the name to something cool)? What say you? |
GladmanGoddey:Yay profit-wise. But I didn't necessarily do same thing as last week so not too comfortable. Maybe I over-optimised and then found myself going a whole Wednesday without trading. I couldn't handle it and turned to discretionary trading a lot this week. I went after the market with my powerful edge and it went well sometimes and less others. I could actually run this way with improved sharpness and always having a clear and reasonable thought process. Some more backtesting raised some issues that may arise with my most preferred system from last week. So I am still looking at beating that before it causes problems later. I have finally shorted AUDNZD; enough is enough... I am sure you had a wonderful conference too... |
I think knowing key levels can greatly help with, eg, range trading at lower TFs... |
GladMan hope XM restrictions are not disrupting your week man? How is it going? |
redsox11:Cheers boss. Will you still trade this week ? |
As for trading, week is actually much better than last week at this point. Though I took a big hit on Monday as I continue to try and optimize stuff. I may not post results again as I don't think it's really beneficial to anyone. What's beneficial is what will help people to trade well and earn money. Cheers... |
Donvic4u:LOL never mind boss. Thought it might have been the script in action. It draws yellow lines too. It's just somehow no feedback after I posted stuff I think should be helpful to many. But, well... Cheers... |
Donvic4u:Those yellow lines tho ![]() |
4q:Let's use Nairaland email service. I will send you a message shortly... |
4q:I am here. PM me... |
alphaNomega:I think its typo. Check out the time of the post and where the chart was then... There is not hard SL. So some patience here... |
infofirst:You guys always the bosses; wen senior me here and in life. Cheers and good luck on the trade... Hehe I always love the idea of withdrawal... |
@Infofirst, sorry about your red month. Next one will more than repay by God's grace. That's how it goes in this business. Cheers... |
JerryQ:Okay. Maybe I am just speaking for myself. But once I do that I know it won't be largely luck. Thus repeatable for myself or I could access much more than 7 mil in investment without privately showing anyone my actual trades. That's my point... Great results... |
JerryQ:Someone who will use that kind of proficiency in such a manner; shall we say (s)he is alright? |
GladmanGoddey:Thanks bro. Mostly self-taught over many many years. Wow since you use S&R for your work I guess you will find this very handy. Hope it really helps and I would value feedback on how it's doing... |
GladmanGoddey:YES... |
Okay. So I have attached the promised support and resistance script to this post. It is for mt4 since that's the platform on which I developed it. If enough people want mt5 I might just try to create that version also. You just extract and copy the script to your mt4 scripts folder. I attached a small help file to describe how things work. You can still ask me questions on any areas which are not clear. Hope it helps... Feedback/advice is also welcome.
|
GladmanGoddey:I haven't noticed any terrible changes in spreads. Been mostly seeing the same thing or just failed to notice any changes... |
GladmanGoddey:Way to go bro. I wish you the very best. Please oo don't get complacent and keep working at it. Cheers and welcome to XM. I am using a very small XM account for now where they gave 50% bonus. Their way is generally to not lose any money. As you withdraw they are gradually removing their bonus. Its been a while since I checked but that's what I remember. Though the spreads are low they don't allow very tight stops and tps... |
redsox11:Thanks boss. A lot is down to your efforts. Cheers. Hope you had a nice day as well? |
GladmanGoddey:Obviously the improved version of that your method. And you haven't thanked me yet. Not fair . Nice work... |
Done. So today was like over 10% to bring the week to over 20%.morw on the table; let's just be content and grateful. Fantastic journey and great fun this week sharing experiences and learning much along the way. I wish everyone a beautiful weekend... Cheers...
|
seyiade26:About 7.2% profit based on some dangerous CAD trades already closed today. EURCHF trades still open and in nice profits. It's almost surreal... Cheers... |
AK284:Nice find. Good luck on the trade and congrats for your week. Sorry about the gold. Buy EURCHF now (with sl oo)... |
I think people should look out for eurchf perhaps turning soon (if not already). But I am not a seer of course... We may be seeing a fresh uptrend on AUDNZD (if it keeps going up) or it may suddenly shoot down. See how I'm speaking lol ... I am impressed. Good morning... |
Okay looks like enough interest. So God willing I will keep my pledge . Cheers... |
So AK how did your AUDNZD trade go man? I entered both ways yesterday. But only when I was on your side was I rewarded a little. How did you handle it? Or still in it?? |
redsox11:Its been a fruitful week. Very good for learning again.. And some nice profits. Hopefully and prayerfully it only gets better going forward. I still learned a lesson today. Remember to add the spread to any buy limit orders determined. It can make a difference... Also be patient for your setups (unless the conviction is overwhelming). It is particularly hard for me to just sit and wait. One loss was a failed attempt to trend-trade while waiting for my trade to come. Still better at counter... Cheers... |
femora007:Femora again. Well done man. Yes got some terrific stuff going. Cheers... |
GladmanGoddey:Don't worry GladMan. It's hard but it just requires restraint against repeating mistakes. Like sub-optimal entries... Insist on great prices, like you do in the market bro... It will still get to your best entry point . Happens to all of us... |
