Yay profit-wise. But I didn't necessarily do same thing as last week so not too comfortable. Maybe I over-optimised and then found myself going a whole Wednesday without trading.

I couldn't handle it and turned to discretionary trading a lot this week. I went after the market with my powerful edge and it went well sometimes and less others.

I could actually run this way with improved sharpness and always having a clear and reasonable thought process.

Some more backtesting raised some issues that may arise with my most preferred system from last week. So I am still looking at beating that before it causes problems later.

I have finally shorted AUDNZD; enough is enough...

I am sure you had a wonderful conference too...

I think knowing key levels can greatly help with, eg, range trading at lower TFs...

GladMan hope XM restrictions are not disrupting your week man? How is it going?

As for trading, week is actually much better than last week at this point. Though I took a big hit on Monday as I continue to try and optimize stuff.

I may not post results again as I don't think it's really beneficial to anyone. What's beneficial is what will help people to trade well and earn money.

Okay. Maybe I am just speaking for myself. But once I do that I know it won't be largely luck. Thus repeatable for myself or I could access much more than 7 mil in investment without privately showing anyone my actual trades. That's my point...

Okay. So I have attached the promised support and resistance script to this post. It is for mt4 since that's the platform on which I developed it. If enough people want mt5 I might just try to create that version also.

You just extract and copy the script to your mt4 scripts folder. I attached a small help file to describe how things work. You can still ask me questions on any areas which are not clear. Hope it helps...

Feedback/advice is also welcome.

I haven't noticed any terrible changes in spreads. Been mostly seeing the same thing or just failed to notice any changes...

Cheers and welcome to XM. I am using a very small XM account for now where they gave 50% bonus. Their way is generally to not lose any money. As you withdraw they are gradually removing their bonus. Its been a while since I checked but that's what I remember.

Though the spreads are low they don't allow very tight stops and tps...

Second week of trading this account and have almost doubled it. Will be starting a new demo account for this strategy with 100$ next week

Done. So today was like over 10% to bring the week to over 20%.morw on the table; let's just be content and grateful.

I'm still in ,of course alot of patience can be quite fustrating,I could have take my small profit and leave jeje intially but with this setup ,I believe it will definitely go down, anyway the market will go wherever it's want to, but stop loss will be waiting just in case.my week is in profit but I took about 12% shark bite to my account yesterday no thanks to gold.

The thing is, I don't want to be seen as hinderance to someone's journey. Why I actually mention more time was because they need to experience different market phases. To learn if they stand a chance, a month is just too short but that being said, it's your call. If they can stick with the (good) money management, even better.

Live account- the greed and fear comes to fore like big time. You can see that playing out with Awesomeduru, entering more trade in his live account compare to the demo acc he started out with. My fear now is that he has run into hot waters with his account but I do hope not.

So ultimately, it's your call, I can't tell you what to really do.

Its been a fruitful week. Very good for learning again.. And some nice profits. Hopefully and prayerfully it only gets better going forward.

I still learned a lesson today. Remember to add the spread to any buy limit orders determined. It can make a difference... Also be patient for your setups (unless the conviction is overwhelming). It is particularly hard for me to just sit and wait. One loss was a failed attempt to trend-trade while waiting for my trade to come. Still better at counter...

Don't worry GladMan. It's hard but it just requires restraint against repeating mistakes. Like sub-optimal entries...

Insist on great prices, like you do in the market bro... It will still get to your best entry point . Happens to all of us...
