olenyi: like they say, u dont have to fix it if it aint broken. U dont need to upgrade a receiver u havent even bought yet. Upgrade is a matter of necessity not just because u want to or someone told u to.

On the link i gave u, dia's atleast two oshogbo based numbers dia. So hit them up and take it from dia. Ur installer should be in a better position to get u an original machine though the 4922A is still new and i dont think the fake is yet in the market.

olenyi: For astra with 60cm, about 20 or so.
For amos 5 with 90cm for optimium signal reception, upwards of 70 to 100 channels.

The best connection now is

1 nos 60cm dish on intelsat 20ku for mytv free channels.

1 nos. 60cm on Dstv position for cnn/silverbird/etc with another lnb attached for multitv.

1 nos. 90 cm on amos.

Dat the best in town now.

Though one can use only 1 nos. 90cm to pick both amos, Dstv and multi tv.

It all boils down to how proficient u or ur installer is.

What's ur location. Shout out to the house and see if anyone is near u who can help u out.

olenyi: 4922/4922A = 10500 /11000
60cm dish with lnb = 2100
Diseqc = 400
f connector = 10 or 20
90cm dish with lnb = 3500 to 4000
Wire = 20 /25 per yard
Labour = 1000 or 1500 per dish

So be guided.

Except the 22k is for two dishes and everything with labour. If not, kick him out.

Pls o, i heard that srt 4940 is nt good for fta unlike 4922A. And my worry is dat i wana go for mytv and othe fta dish on the same srt 4940 which mytv authorised,and ask them at dealer that 4922a shld also work for mytv and he said no. So pls which way?

I used n3 before selling it to buy the said p3. I sold my p3 a week after purchase, now I'm back to n3. so I stand a chance to tell which was better.

dont mind them. I told them that n3 performs better than p3 they didnt agree,I had the two phones, before i sold the p3, because it coudnt perform to my expectation. Let them get the two phones, and know what am saying,for my area n3 is still costlier and still a hot cake than p3. P3 can never be sold as n3, depite p3 flash light,front cam and home buttons light. n3 is best selling of the year. FACT!

HOLLASLYD: Yep I've run the benchmark. They both have the same performance.
Regarding quality, n3 is a bit superior notwithstanding the extra added feature which don't really count. I've always told people. P3 is not worth ditching the n3 for. Literally the same device

U are really correct, I told them on p3 thread that both of them have internal spec,but when it comes to real usage the n3 performs better. the ram of p3 quickly goes down to 160 but n3 never went down below 200. I have used the two phones,but i have sold the p3 out,cos n3 is better in gaming. Thanks boss.

to be sincere I was in love of p3 that was why i bought it cos it has same spec wiht n3 but after having p3,I realised that n3 my older phone is more rugged than p3 but if u are nt sure try it,even in multitasking

23jerryking: n3 has gps, it was my first before p3. and for the ram issue they're the same and even p3 is more radio sensitive than n3

u can only use ur gps through the help of gps on/off app on google to enhance u to open ur gps and i did benchmark for both and they have the same spec with available RAM 412, but on usage of both, go to running app and check free RAM u wl see that n3 wil never get nothing less than 220 RAM free and 180 RAM on usage,while p3 have 160 RAM free and 160 RAM on usage so where is the remaining 100 RAM to make it 400 RAM for user?.NOTE i have the two,i must to tell u fact that n3 is more rugged in term of running games,cos i have Nintendo 64 emulator on my n3 which i play mortal kombat 4 etc and i have play station 1 emulator on my n3 which i play dino crisis 2 etc but on my p3 is nt rugged to do it much even when calls come in and if am listining to radio it off the radio after call,and multitasking is nt much smooth on p3,i wl sel it soon.

Both dont support gps.i have handled both i must tell u.they both have same spec,but if nt for flash light,front cam and home buttons light.i must tell u n3 is more rugged than p3,my reason is that n3 ram never gone down less than 260 free under use,but p3 ram goes down to 160 when the two have the same ram usage of 165
