You'll receive two emails; the first containing your application code, username and password is sent after filling your name, valid email, state, LGA etc
You'll visit the website again and login this time using your username (registered email address) and the password sent you, which is your application code.
After logging in successfully, to the top right where you see Home, Applications (located under the logout button), click the latter and select 'My Applications'.
The rest should be easy from then onwards.
Once you've successfully completed the process - upload of passport, selecting yes/no to the question have you worked with the FRSC before and checking the box confirming all the information you've provided is correct - you should receive the email thay reads "Your application has been s uccessfully submitted and is pending review..."
Hope you find the information useful.
P.S: I used Chrome on my mobile phone (desktop site) during the entire process without a glitch.
You should also resize your passport photograph to between 50 and 100kb but not more or less than the minimum size. Pls what should I do, mine is saying access denied after I log in to continue my application |

The statutory requirements for the recruitment into the Nigerian Prison Service are as follows: –
1. Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
2. Applicants must possess the requisite qualification and certificates. Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment centre shall not be accepted after the recruitment.
3. Applicants must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from Government recognized Hospitals.
4. Applicants must be of good characters, and must not have been convicted of any criminal offences.
5. Applicants must not be members of any Secret Society, Cults or Drug Addicts etc.
6. Applicants must not be financially embarrassed.
7. Applicants must be between ages of 18 and 30 years
8. Applicants heights must not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60 for females.
9. Applicants chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men.
10. Computer literacy will be of added advantage.

 The online portal of the Nigerian Prison Service has been temporarily shutdown, findings by DAILY POST have shown. The development came barely one week after the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointments to fill existing vacancies into the service.  Candidate were asked to log into the website www.prisons.gov.ng fill and submit the application form online. Applicants were also advised to print out the Referee forms which must be duly completed for submission during screening. All applications are expected to be completed and submitted within six (6) weeks. However, a check on the official website of the service on Sunday showed that the portal was unavailable. The site had a short message on its homepage that reads, “WE WILL BE BACK SHORTLY.”  Meanwhile, a quick tech check on the site by this reporter shows that the site was created on December 25, 2008 by National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and was last updated in August 2014. When DAILY POST reached out to the Registrant, Agi Edegi, he did not respond to our calls. Meanwhile, the board is yet to explain the reason behind the unavailability of the portal.  |
