The only issue is that the loudspeaker sounds bursted and gives a lot of distorted sound, when the volume is high. You may need to change the loudspeaker module or you may need to change the audio IC. Outgoing and incoming phone calls are not affected, only ringtone, movies, and music, and any audio that goes through the loudspeaker are affected.

Hello bros, the screenshot you posted is the reason I said that you should read the entire thread. Indeed, the OP started out by posting vehicle prices alongside their shipping costs only, and the buyer was the one to take care of the clearing expenses. That is, the amount posted only landed each vehicle at the ports, it doesn't include money for clearing.
However, after some potential customers started requesting for clearing agents, and it seemed that getting a honest agent was like looking for water in the desert, OP decided to upgrade/update his services to include clearing of the vehicles.

So, if you take some time to read the thread, you'll find some of those messages by OP. The car deals posted on the first 5-20 pages are super cheap, because clearing was not included.

Now, the posted costs include car, shipping, and clearing costs.

You should try to read the thread, from the beginning to the end. It's just 160+ pages. It will answer all your questions. OP's WhatsApp number is also on the front page and in his signature, so you can ask questions and request for specific vehicle deals.

To your question, the price quoted per vehicle includes cost of the vehicle, cost of shipping, and cost of clearing at the ports.
All you'll do is to pay the OP for any vehicle of your choice, and wait for it to arrive. Then, you go drive it home, from the ports.

Apart from being fuel efficient and having readily available parts, the 2003-2007 Corolla is also a major magnet for thieves.

I remember reading a newspaper article, earlier this week, where a car parts robber said that Ladipo market traders are their major patrons, and they tell them which car parts to 'bring' (steal) to make fast cash.
I'm sure Toyota models, especially Corolla, Camry, and Highlander top the list of their requests from the thieves.

The Toyota Corolla has nothing on the Toyota Prius's fuel efficiency and value for money. But, it's not popular in Nigeria, because of the bland, hatchback design.
Marketing and ride-hailing services have really helped the Corolla brands, in Nigeria.

The Toyota Camry brand, on the other hand, is Toyota's most popular model as a whole, and it blends affordable luxury, fuel efficiency, elegance, aesthetics, and affordable price.

So, when you talk of value, the only Toyota that is perceived to give the best value at an affordable price is the Toyota Camry. Not the Corolla. ABSOLUTELY, NOT THE 2004-2007 Toyota Corolla.

Besides, the poverty-induced mentality I'm talking about is this- why would some of you (Corolla fanboys) prefer to buy a 2004-2007 Toyota Corolla to a 2008-2009 Toyota Corolla, even with the 4-year difference and + or - N500k between them? Why don't you like to enjoy your life?

Hello bro. I admire how detailed and thoughtful your submission is. Usually, i love to sit back, read and learn from more experienced folks regarding the age-long tradeoff between fuel economy and luxury of cars in Nigeria. But i am now compelled to lend my own voice.

First, my own definition of a luxury and pocket-friendly car is a Honda Pilot 2004 and above model or an Acura MDX 20404 and above model. Of course, our comparator will be the almight Corolla.. . My research so far has been centred around them, so i have a little theoretical knowledge about them.

This fuel economy issue is usually blown out of proportion by us. As long your Acura is bought tokunbo with no issues reported, the fuel consumption will not be significant at all.

Let us do a little maths. If we were to buy the Acura and Corrolla from Amdman, the difference between both 2004 models will be around 300k in favour of the Corrolla. Then lets say the cost difference between weekly fuel purchases is 2k extra for the Acura

So, it will take 2 years of having to buy fuel on a weekly basis before we expend 208k from that 300k extra we would have spent in getting the Corrolla.

Lets look at the maintenance. Assuming we spend an extra 10k on the Acura (in relation to the Corrolla) for bi-monthly general maintence, it will take us 2years to expend 120k. Total of 328k.

So it will take a whole 2 years of enjoying your Acura before the overall cost of ownership equates with that of the Corolla.

Now, lets look at the luxury aspect. It is a very subjective thing, so i will speak from my own aspect. Luxury begets productivity. If i am well comfortable, my productivity will be very high. All my travel time will be spent in my car, and thanks to Lagos traffic, travel time will run into several hours. So i deserve to get maximum comfort during those traumatic hours.

Finally, lets look at societal perception. E get the kind car wey you go use enter area like this, everybody go dey hail you anyhow, dem no go know sey brother Kazeem Corolla fit buy the motor get change sef. But my own full ground remain...lol. even for express sef, danfo go dey fear to scratch you gaaan coz sorry fit no end am...lol. Corrolla just dey everywhere. It is just too common jare.

Summarily, i will choose luxury over fuel-economy anytime because the Nigerian bias has made fuel-economy expensive. You will find yourself spending more in the short time as against the luxury option where you will spend it in the long term at your pace.

God wey give us money to use buy car, go give us money for fuel.

The Corolla is overrated, in my opinion, and even the 300k+ difference, as analyzed, in its favor is simply because it is in high demand. The car shouldn't be more than N1.2million, like most of the cars in its category, going by @amdman's fair TLC prices .

They can afford a 2010 Camry Hybrid with thumbstart ignition (which has similar or better fuel efficiency than the 2003-2007 Corolla), but they're afraid to spend or enjoy money or look rich, not just for family or friends that may come to them with financial requests, not because of 'village people', but because they have a poverty mentality. 'Shebi car is car. Make e just carry us from point A to B', they say. They're afraid that the money will finish soon, or that they will die sooner than later, because they 'dared to enjoy life'. Nobody is pursuing them, they're the ones, deliberately, limiting themselves.
When you, eventually, realize that this life is actually too short to make shitty Corolla choices, you'd adjust your mentality, and buy what you know that you'd love driving, a car model you'd love to be seen in/that can go places, and can still afford to maintain. No be say you go buy your Corolla kon dey admire person wey dey drive Nissan Rouge, Infiniti, Honda Pilot, Ford Edge, Acura MDX, Honda CrossTour and the likes, and you still need to park your Corolla some miles away from an event, make e no be like say na Uber you carry come. People don't even desire to take pictures in/with your car. Because.... Fuel efficiency and spare parts. LMAO.

You're right. Initially, clearing wasn't included in the price. It was just price of the car and shipping to Nigeria, But, people kept asking for trustworthy clearing agent and for total costs including shipping and clearing. Hence, Amdman adjusted his offerings, to include shipping and clearing.
Then, there were requests for more cars, above the #1.2 million range
Actually, he created a new thread to accommodate the demand for more expensive cars. But, he later said that he could not properly manage both threads effevtively, and would just do everything here- that is, offer cars beyond and below N1.2 million and (plus shipping and clearing).

So, that's why we wear where we were where we're were we.
