Trapping:It's glaring from your previous posts that the latest word you just learnt is 'DUMB'. No surprise...keep it up! |
jnyuwa02:@jnyuwa I have been seeing your comments on this forum for a long time now, before and after I got my approval, but chose to mind my business. I did not mention you in my comment, yet you chose to antagonize me. You are one to say someone is on a high horse, when all you've done here is exude irritating pride. I believe those who knew you on this thread as at last year can also attest to this, and we know you suddenly became 'humble' because of the over 1 year timeline on your application. I have seen you deceive a lot of people on this thread with your lies! Enough with that already! Please, stop coming to lie on this thread. I've done my in-depth research on you and your files are very readily accessible online. Well, nothing in the Western world is hidden. All the court cases you've had, motions filed, and those dismissed. I've read your files! You're one heck of a case! And you've come here severally to deceive people that you never had issues in the US and you are 'clean as a saint'. Please, stop deceiving people on this thread! "Mr. J.A.N." aka jnyuwa |
Cherryola:This email composition is really disturbing! Sorry to say, but I can't help but wonder how you'll actually write your final thesis for whatever program you're going for. Also, I can't fathom how you'll cope with rigorous assignments that are meant to demonstrate your critical writing skills. Honestly, if I could get a 'headache' reading this, I only wonder how the recipient felt. I think you should work on your writing skills and I believe you pretty much speak the same way you write, so, work on that as well. Trust me, it'll go a long way here in Canada, especially when you speak in class discussion sessions or conferences or on a day-to-day basis. Issues such as this, for example, are part of the reasons a VO would question an application (e.g. how's it that you got an admission if you can't write properly in English, which is your 'national language'?) OR most likely shove it aside because it is too complicated to understand what you're trying to convey in your SOP (if you had one - I didn't bother checking your previous posts). Sorry, but I just have to say facts here! Even ESL students here in Canada write and speak way better! Dude or dudette, whichever you are, you've got to work on yourself. I'm not bashing you in any way, I'm just letting you know facts. Trust me when I say this, you'll command attention speaking eloquently here. I know how far my speaking and writing skills have taken me since I got here, and how many opportunities I've had, just by that...not to mention my performance as well. So, you just imagine. Food for thought...same goes to anyone else struggling with English, perfect yourself as much as possible! If ESL students can do it, how much more a Nigerian with English as first language! Have a nice day! |

Mikelincoln:Oh nice! I was there as well and was told it's still in transit. They really do have a slow delivery system. Thanks for your response. |
Hello, morning house. I'd like to ask, who got his/her passport dispatched on 31st August and has collected at the VFS office in Lekki? @gbsunmonu I remember you mentioned collecting yours on 31st August. Kindly confirm. Thanks. |
solastar2:Hello, My overall CGPA was 4.23, however, I had 4.85 in my last 2 years of study. I never bothered converting using the WES Scale. To be honest, securing a supervisor/advisor is a daunting task. I sent emails to several, got responses from few stating they weren't taking graduate students for the session, but I didn't let that deter me. I sent to a few more and eventually secured one. So, keep sending, ensure you tailor your message to their research. Focus on the summary of any publications they have, and when you secure one, you can read the publications in full to get a good grasp of their research. Thanks. |
@petlaz, @abiriba, @bronze25, @glam444 Thanks guys, appreciate! |
EZEUDENE:Hello, kindly read through part 12 of the thread and page 0 of this current session has a summary of important steps to take in applying for a study visa. If you have any challenges with what you've read, do not hesitate to contact members of the forum. Thanks. |
Hello everyone, This thread is quite resourceful, I must admit. I am posting this to encourage someone out there. The wait isn't easy, no doubt, but keep the faith, stay strong, above all...pray and praise! It may sound ridiculous especially when you see people who submitted way after you getting responses, trust me, just rejoice with them, key into that great news and watch God work for you. But I also need to mention this, do your research, be ready to know the "ins and outs" of visa application, even the bible says, "Study to show yourself approved..." Many a time, God wants you to take action, before He can begin to work for you. Kindly see below my timeline: Application submission date: 1st June, 2017 Medicals: Upfront - Passed 19th June, 2017 Additional Documents Review: 21st August Review of Eligibility: 23rd August Approval: 25th August (Morning) Master's program with full funding. To sum it up - Habakkuk 2:3 Have an amazing day! |
maziude:Perfect. You're welcome and thanks for the break down of fees. |
maziude:Hello @maziude, congratulations! Pretty sure you can't contain your excitement. I'll be contributing soon for others to benefit from, however, I've got a quick question. I noticed you tendered your financial offer document as proof of financial support. Do you mind telling me how you filled the "cost of my studies" section in the 1294E form based on your funding offer? i.e. 4,5 and 6. Furthermore, I'd appreciate if we can exchange emails or any other preferable means of communication you deem fit. I'm new here and haven't acquainted myself with navigating the forum dashboard, but I intend to in a bit. Thank you. |
