Every believer has the gift of faith, albeit they are in different measurable levels, hence the historic 'I do believe: strengthen my weak faith' plea

What is the name your mother tongue is called? Is it a gift of speaking in tongues or not? Where did your gift of speaking in your mother tongue come from? Is it from God or from the devil?

It seems you don't know the distinction between the Gift of Faith and the Operation in Faith!

Every Christian is commanded and expected to have Faith
But
Not every Christian have the Gift of Faith

The Gift of Faith is a Supernatural Ability given by the Holy Spirit to a Child of God to be able to TRUST God's position in exceptionally difficult and naturally impossible situations.
...it will rain today when there is no sign of rain (harmathan)
...you are healed ---when the man is medically dying
...he is not dead---when the doctors have pronounced him dead

Faith is just trusting God's Word and His integrity: even an unbeliever can have faith on hearing the word of God for salvation


Finally, all spiritual gifts of the same kind do not have the same operation neither do they have the same magnitude (size).
My gift of healing may be able to heal the sick but another Christians gift of healing can restore eyes to the blind from birth. Every Christian act according to their level of faith, use (experience) and devotion to God with respect to their spiritual gifts.

I will advice you to pray to God to give you the ability to speak in tongues infact just pray to God to give you the holy spirit even if you think you already have him

Continue to desire the holy spirit in your life once you do this he will give you the tongues and you will understand more of how awesome God is

You need to stop comparing speaking in tongues with other activities

You can't force the gift it best you desire it it not wrong to want this power gift

Praying in Tongues is not a power gift. Thes below are examples of Power gifts. They are called power gifts not because of anything but because they are undenyable gifts when in operation (they change things directly in the Physical realm)
Healing, Deliverance, Faith, Miracles, Discernment of Spirits, Prophecy

Tongues when the hearers hear in their own language is the only spectacular side of the gift of tongues


It is not wrong to pray in tongues BUT praying in tongues is NOT a spiritual gift.

I have been talking to a guy recently..We have known for years but lost contact and reconnected again 3months ago and I honestly do like him alot(I think he likes me too)....

now every gift you see in the Bible you have it once you believe in Jesus

Now when you preach if people need teaching more than healing that is what God will bring upon you to use it to help them

If it healing they need in that place that is what God will impact on you to use to bless them so it actually what the people need that comes upon you for that period

Like I said there is no formula God can switch healing power to teaching power in the same service if two people need healing God can use you to heal them and after that switch to teaching those who equally need teaching
