Car TalkShould I Change The Engine Or Do A Rework On It? by shadowripper(op): 9:53am On Jun 29, 2015
Hi All,

I have a honda city vtec 2005 and the problem is that after running it for like an hour or over 30 mins, it gets so hot and if it should stop while maneuvering cos it is manual, it wont start till after like 30 mins of cooling. The kick starter has been changed and the mechanic said I have to change the whole engine that it also leaks oil.

I saw another mechanic and he said I dont need to change the whole engine that all we need to do is for him to work on the engine and then see how it goes... that we will need to wash the radiator too, which seems never washed when we went wash it.. we had to remove it to wash tho using steam.

What do you think?

Do you know what? You look alright because the ones you have taken are still working in your system. Its like prayer, if you stop praying, the ones you have prayed will still be working for you till it drains out.

You need to start using ASAP to avoid what we all dont like experiencing.

Take to your doctor again... or go to Sickle Cell Foundation at Idi-Araba for more talk

With our road enforcement agents, they would always find a document you don't have ie receipt for the spare tyre, receipt for car stereo, why is inner light not working huh Etc etc etc
Yes. They are fond of that. But what about the legal papers that are meant to go with a vehicle/driver to avoid the necessary/proper embarrassment.

You need the customs papers, Vehicle license, Road Worthiness in case of Pre-owned car, Police Report (CMR), Insurance (Third party is ok), Drivers license, Fire Extinguisher, Extra Tyre, C-Caution.
Thanks so much. Do I need custom papers cos the person I got it from bought it new. Its the Honda City VTec Manual Transmission and you mean Vehicle License as in the plate number cos its got one. What do I need a police report for?

Hello,

I just got my first car, which is a manual car that I wanted so I can be perfect with driving as some say...

I should start hitting the highway by next month and would like to know the documents that will/should be required for a hitch free ride in Nigeria so I wont have issues with VIO/FRSC/Lastma/Police people dem...

I should start with a Learner's Permit before I finally get the license.

Regards
