Is this an ml350 2013, I’ll suspect a connection issue with it instead of a failed component ( I’ve personally tackled gle350 and it was the junction connector to the blower that got burnt, pretty common on the ml series 2013-15

Engine is between 500k to 800k. But if you are buying around 500k it will be borale (meaning no AC compressor and some other things attached) just engine only. But want I want to do is swap the engine. The mechanic said that I should not use Mobil 1 again that if I don't use the car often the oil will dry up,that was what happened in my own case. The oil we bought now is Mobil XHP 45k for two(8 liters). We must be changing it every month according to what he said. This is just for w211 engine o

The engine cost tho, make I dey maintain mine dey go, e never gave me issues and I use Mobil xhp 8 liters as well and I change it every 6 months. And I change gear oil every year.

I use the same car m112 engine, can I ask how long b4 u service and whst oil u use… you have idea how much the engine is?

Pls whenever I lock my car, after like 10 to 15 minutes, the alarm will start shouting, but once I open the car and leave it open, the alarm will not disturb. The car keep disturbing everyone in my compound in the night so I decided to stop locking the car with key or remote but this is not safe.

I have taken it to my mechanic who took it to an electrician who worked on it but the issue persists. The electrician later suggested I should be removing the battery head before locking it since he did not see anything wrong with the alarm system but I am not still comfortable with that.

Please speak anyone have alternate solutions to this please.

Get a scanner and put off the security alarm, you can only turn it off with a scanner

Youll need to change shifter, and. Sometimes it will enter limp/emergency mode when driving

Finally lay my hands on my first benz (Benzc200). It has been a smooth ride ever since, but my major constraints now is the AC, it's working perfect before now but the coldness has dropped, bought a new gas, and after 30 days d freezing will drop again. Was told the compressor silt has issue and that I will need to change the compressor. Pls I will need your advice on the best AC compressor I will need to buy for my c200.

Congrats, ur AC probably is leaking somewhere, ur compressor is good , just try change the shaft seal first nd if it persists, make sure the hose isn’t leaking . If still persists then it’ll be the evaporator in the dash

I drive a 2006 Toyota Corolla and scared of the cost of replacing an engine when it goes bad which is about N900k to N1.3 if you can even see a direct toks, so all pointers are on selling my corolla and going for a good and low maintenance cost Car especially engine and gear.
I was advised to go for a Mercedes Benz C320 not the 4matic or compressor by a friend who is using one. He said the engine is moderately OK to buy and maintain.
So I want to know if its as good and affordable to maintain as he said.

The c320 uses M112 engine a v6 engine and 12 plugs, it’s a very reliable strong engine. I have it in my e320 and been using it for two years now , no single work has been done on the engine , I just change engine oil every 6 months and I use 8 liters of Mobil xhp. Youll enjoy it and stay away from 4matic as he said

gear selector fixed

It wasnt alternator issue it was EIS
Electronic ignition switch
Was fixed normal


The gear issue was that even after changing position it still stays in P or R on the instrument cluster its not recognizing moving the gear lever


Now works fine

Lol if u want repairs it may not take long b4 it goes bad anyhow sha. I don face am too i have replaced alternator, battery but na u go still enjoy am

hey fellas

Im driving a c230 2004 model white top engine v4

Recently the issue I'm facing is sometimes the gear not entering park from drive when i want to shift to reverse if i want to reverse in a street. It will stop in neutral until I turn off the ignition before I can shift to park. And if I turn it back on, I can do it freely until another time. Randomly it will stuck again till i turn off ignition


Someone said its electrical issue and someone said it may be brake switch fault


My auto gear is shifting smoothly only face issue of getting stuck when going to R or P sometimes


I need ur input pls

This happened on my 05 w211, i can surely and guarantee you it’s 99% gear selector that needs to be changed, it’s not electrical at all. Just change the gear selector and use scanner to remove it from limp mode when changed. No let anyone tell u anything else

I currently used Peugeot 307 but considering Switching to Mercedes Benz. So I have this Neighbor that imported a Mercedes C230 2002/2004 model not sure of the year actually but it's a 6-cylinder engine.

Now my question is what will the fuel consumption ratio looks like looking at wia I was coming from.
This was the picture of the engine when I went for inspection.

This is the m112 v6 engine 3.2 capacity 12 plugs. Very reliable and strong . I have the same in my E320 nd never done anything except oil service and it’s more than 2years now

S or C mode, which do you enjoy driving with on ur w211. I use S always but heard pple say C is slow and starts from gear 2
