What do you say of a situation where someone's husband donates blood and still paid ₦7000. At the end of the day, the woman was delivered of her baby and never needed blood transfusion. Money was not refunded, and donated blood would have used for someone else. This happens in Island Maternity.

They are going to group and cross match the blood you donated, they will screen the blood against hiv, hepatitis b and c and other infections and store it properly. You are paying 7000 naira for this services

We are told to do lab test, after d test they did mistake by detecting wrong blood group which we already knew d right one. Now had it been we did nt check d result d doctors will makes a lot of mistakes. Tnx

Blood will be crossmatched with the donor. A reaction will come up if different blood group.
Where I work we prefer to use only blood group O tve/- ve to avert such error.
