Because we live in a marriage mad society. We allow what people think to be a factor in our lives. We pretend to be something we are not because we want peoples approval or recognation. And we lack the conviction to stand up to popular opinion on how we should live our lives or how it should be.

Yes, I will use condom with my boy friend or husband. And it has nothing to do with love or trust. It has everything to do with me being responsible for my self. If anything happens, I cannot turn around and blame either of the. But for my husband, it would have to be in extreme case of my body not being able tolerate multiple contraceptive measures available and we are not looking for any more children. For my boy friend, it is the only pratical thing to do even if I am using other contraceptive measure. It is not him I don't trust, it is other women and lolita's out there. And let's face it, he is a man after all.

And no I am not insulting you just stating a fact. Forget the candles and the prayers. No man can make your decision for you. You have a choice so make it. Your parents are not going to leave in the mariage with you. Do you trust and respect her? Can you see your self with her 25 years down the road knowing that life will not be easy, but you will be there for each other? Remember that there is no gaurantee in marriage. Those that have the blessings of their parents have been knowing to part ways years later. So grow up and step up!

It's not for the faint hearted. Very very difficult. To make it work, you need to have 100% trust from each other. Not even love can make it work without trust.
