Anybody inbetween them became the organizers enemy, even when it was obvious Erica never had romantic interest in him. Anytime laycon sang or does anything, the camera shows erica with her gorgeous smiles, Anytime erica gets close to kid she is portrayed as a LovePeddler, Anytime kid gets close to Erica he is portrayed as a sex predator who wanted to take advantage of her. Don't forget the damaging article against kidwaya on African magic website which they deleted and apologized. The article portrayed him as sex predator and even praised laycon for their attitude towards Erica. One SM influenza even gained access to the video of Erica's night with kid and used it against her. When that failed, they tried using 'strikes' to separate the two. The same way they tried to use strikes to separate Ozo and nengi by pushing the narrative that Ozo was bugging her. They fell for the public sympathy for laycon from outside arising from his lack of companion and wanted to free erica or nengi for him by force.

considering it was a first time rule, sleeping halfway outside the HOH lounge should have earned Erica a warning. But they chose a strike, not just a single strike but an additional one for a minor offence like whispering which could have attracted only a fine. Ozo also got a strike same day for an offense they called whispering. That was when I knew they were targets because if she didn't get those strikes she would only have gotten two strikes after the Saturday incident.

Ceecee during the last two editions got two strikes after a terrible verbal confrontation with Toby similar to Erica's own. But they were cancelled. Mercy got a strike and several warnings after many infringements. she even smashed a phone. They were cancelled before she got two more strikes after going physical with tacha. But she ended up winning. Tacha quarreled with almost everyone in the house, broke rules countless times and got two strikes. The two strikes were cancelled before the physical brawl with mercy which lead to her disqualification. Venita last year after Saturday party said "Bleep you biggie" but she was ignored. Even ike was so angry about his nomination by frodd that he told mercy he would "deal with frodd in and outside the house" but he wasn't punished. But this year the bar for punishment was lowered for all the housemates marked by the organizers for elimination this edition, they went hard on them, issuing strikes on them without cancellation and ignoring other housemates. Vee and neo are couples, they've broken several rules yet walk free because vee is sympathetic to their anointed one laycon. lol

Well my conclusion on this! Kidd's action is not because he was not loved growing up but rather so many things are at stake in his life. Someone like Kidd won't want to commit to any girl without his family consent especially his father. That's why he doesn't want to commit! And he knows he doesn't have the clout and capability to go against his father and infact he has been careful not to give any insight into his family life. For me he is bidding his time until when they are out of the house to see how things will go I.e whether his family will be in support or not and that accounts for him saying his love process or cycle is slow. Be that as it may, Kidd loves Erica a lot but he can't do much about it unless his family is in support and he wouldn't know until he leaves the house. So he doesn't want to let Erica go neither will he commit now!
