"I don't live in comfort and I go through stress like everybody else in the whole world
So please tell me why am I still being called an aje butter"

If you are living anything like me it is definitely not in the lap of luxury. I think what people don't understand is that, comparatively speaking, you have to have alot more money to be aje butter in America. So people think you are living like the stereotypical 90210 lifestyle but in reality you might be living worse here than you did there. It's all relative. Explain that to them next time someone calls you aje butter.

I think Aje Butter is the same as ajeboda which is sort of like spoiled but more negative for some.

So, in order to renounce what the West is brainwashing the rest of the world to think. What do you love most about Lagos? What is there to do? How easy is it for an outsider (I don't like the word foreigner smiley ) to find a job?
Romance / Re: Interracial Dating & Marriage ("Jungle Fever") by Shani(f): 4:39am On Mar 03, 2006
I think we can all agree that love is blind. People are all built with the same "ingredients" it's just that some were blessed with darker skin than others.

But, in Nigeria would you say there is a negative connotation associated with interracial relationships? What do you think the general population thinks when they see a Nigerian with a spouse of a different race?
