matthew080: But I think I prefer tomatoes biz than this, Buy tomatoes and sell on arrival to lag without delay, tomotoes it's perishable goods,it used to bring money but it's highly risky, grain is better than tomotoes and fresh pepper.i have friend that lost almost 3million in that business last year.do you know how?.he load full one truck of mitsubishi canter, unluckily for him,the truck spoil on the road for 2days! And all the goods spoiled. |

Onlinefarmstore: Op you are wastingoney traveling anyhow, if you need grains, travel to North East, because the insecurity most people aren't coming to their markets and this has driven the food items price down!!!! Nd made people to visit other states making their own go up. Go Numan for Admamawa you go see corn run or Mutun Biyu or Tundun Hatsi for Gombe or Zamfara he is not wasting money,he has just started the business of buying from the northeast and I swear even me iam learning alot from him.No matter how goods are cheaper In maiduguri,I willnot advice him to visit maiduguri.Numan is in adamawa state but if you are going to taraba from gombe, you most pass through it.In a nutshell,no knowledge is wasted and traveling is also part of knowledge.I may even joing him go in his next trip. |

Profmaojo: Good evening Mr sheriff.
You said December is harvesting period of some farm produce, I am surprised that some of this things are usually costly during that December as a result of festivities.
Why is it so? during December ending everything farm produces is cheaper because that's the haversting time.In ur side it may expensive because marchant willnot tell you the prices have drop from the source easily.lolz |

Teetee777: Truly, North is very big compare to other southern states, yes, securitiy personnels is too small for all northern state. From my opinion, terrorist, bandit can easily transport weapons with no problem. yes ooo and this bandit used only motorcycle and bush path. And nomarly in the north you will not meet any security man in the bush path, only in the high ways.lolz |

Teetee777: The next day, I entered yobe state. On our way going I was terrified when I saw good road but no motor coming and going except our car, I wanted to stop the driver that I don't want to go again but I summoned my courage, I now understand why bandit were operating successfully, we only saw 3 road blocks for almost 100km journey, no searching, no anything, just greet and go.
I realized that this is where most of our beans in bodija were coming from when I entered market. I saw Banjaras beans which is olooyi and I asked for the price but they told me that, this Banjaras were going to bodija market and if I want to get it I must travel to maiduguri.
If you don't have mind pls don't ever travel to that side not because of anything but the bad news we heard everyday in the media from those States north is too big and I think the security personnels is small compare to land mass and the population. This make me to remember one of our family friend from jos doing her NYSC in maiduguri, she has been kidnapped since December last year on her way from Yobe-maiduguri.Yet no any news about her where about! |
