However my point actually was not solely about language, it was more about the artist being himself and not changing his style of music to become international, because when you're good at what you do, everyone(no matter where they are in the world) will appreciate it.

you have answered your question. what made you say rihanna is better than wizkid by every standard is because she an international artist. The truth is that rihanna would not go down singing in Igbo language because that would be low of her. but if she was also from Nigeria, she would try and attempt international ground. the truth is that every Nigerian artists want to be recognized internationally. they are all praying to be like wizkid
