I thin they said no more cash payment again from June 1, how come you pay 35k and additional 10k..... If it's the same procedure DIY that is fill it online.... Why collecting 35k from you and 10k again making 45k.... Wetin and upon that 2 month ... For that she may not even do anything and even ask for more money again and again

I want to change my full name on my passport due to family lineage. I have paid the change of data administrative fee online and have receive the acknowledge slip. I also have all the requested documents with me, so when I check the status it shows "your Payment has been received but waiting for approval" , so I asked NiS servicom when can I submit documents to back it up, is it after approval or prior to approval but I was told to submit the documents even before approval and after approval, I will go to headquarter again for biometric and payment of new passport. Has anyone experience this before and how long does it takes. It is DIY especially with the new rules of NIS . Anyone with similar issues?

I used my card to pay online.
It's 31,900 but If you pay on counter, that is 30,900...any one that is ok by you.

Go to the website and follow the necessary procedure, pay the administrative fee and vice versa. .me too ....I want to change my full name...I asked series of questions here ..no one responds they are only after their own stuff, so is better not to waste your time asking here cox they won't respond and careless. Contact the servicom for any other information needed. People here won't answer you that is why those officer also treat them bad..... � �

No one even respond to my post. I ask that after making payments online for administrative fee for a name change, how long does it takes for approval or will I go straight to submit the requested documents at HQ? PLEASE GUIDE ME THROUGH. I only have the acknowledge slip showing that the payment has been received, waiting for approval so I don't know whether I will need to submit the other documents before approving it or will wait for approval First. Anyone that pass through this stage should please guide me through.

Look for Schools that offer GA from the off. Some will require you to write standardized exams, consider your GPA, work experience, video interviews with Faculty etc.
Looks for those schools and apply to them and fulfill their requirements. Finito.

How does one get a graduate assistantships, because most of the school I contacted so far told me that I will need to be admitted and enrolled before getting graduate assistantships, and not even instant but after first semester or a year, please is there a secret passage to get graduate assistantships or does it mean that some school can give when applying.

I filled the name change online and paid.
So seems it's going just waiting for approval.

You cannot even apply for a new passport until June 1st 2021. They are clearing backlogs. And honestly, I do not know how it is going to be after that date or else I would advise you not to DIY

I even contacted the payment department but was told the payment didn't appear from their end, therefore I contacted my bank for refund/charge back since that is payment error.
I am waiting for the refund.

Not at all..it freeze up after showing processing but my money was deducted, so I refresh the page but return me back to the form page.
What should I do now and how can I get the reference because it seems like it was processed but freeze along the way.

Only Lagos, Abuja and PHC have 10 years passport seems other state don't or hardly have. I contacted an officer yesterday to confirm this

I think it worth it rather than staying for several months, come and go for checking.

The servicom told me that I don't need guarantor.
I have one immigration officer at osogbo, he told me that no booklet in most of the state presently that only a few state have booklet.

The name on your NIN must be correspond with the one on your passport application. If you haven't done your NIN registration this is the first step. Having obtained your NIN number, proceed to the Immigration website where you'll fill out your details. Once done, you'll be prompted to print the application page and proceed with payment. I used the InnovatePay payment platform where I printed a slip that I took to Zenith bank (I think it's indicated on their website that they support Card payment but I couldn't find that option). I presented 17500 Naira for a 32-page passport and the slip generated on the payment portal to one of the tellers (not sure, but I think official payment is 23000 Naira in Ph, Abj & Lag). The teller in turn gave me an evidence of payment. I proceeded to the cafe to print payment slip which contained my interview date. I proceeded to High Court where I paid 150 Naira for signature and stamping of my Guarantor form (I had downloaded this from their website). I also bought a seal of 50 Naira still within the court premises for the Guarantor form. I took the signed Guarantor's form affixed with a passport of the Guarantor--alongside other documents like state of origin cert, Nat'l ID, birth cert, application page and payment acknowledgement slip--to the Immigration office. This is where things get easy or complicated depending on the DIY-friendliness of the center; Ilorin in my case wasn't. Assuming your chosen center is DIY-friendly, you'll tell the officer(s) you meet at the gate that you came for capturing. You'll be directed to a room where your documents will be vetted. Thereafter you'll be taking to another room for "interview" where the officer will ask random questions like date and place of birth and occupation. Again, if your center is DIY-friendly you won't be asked to pay other than the fact that your documents will be filed and your payment confirmed. Once your payment has been confirmed, your file will move to the capturing stage. Your face and thumbprint will be captured and you may be asked to confirm some details like your name and date of birth. Having done this, you'll be giving a slip that contains the date of capturing, your name, enrollment number, and tentative date for collection (applies only to a few centers like Lag and Abj).

For you to be eligible to apply via Cotonou,you must have their resident permit and it must be at least 6 months from the day it was issued.
You made a mistake during your booking.You should have shifted your start date to September or October.
If your school started this month,it means your interview invitation mail should have come in March and your interview in April,if you were to be given an appointment.
If you're in category B,it won't be possible for you to get interview mail and be interviewed in the same month of May.
If at all you were interviewed this month,what of the 4-8 weeks of processing your visa?
You should be in Germany before your start date(except last year that corona virus interrupted that)
These are the things you have to consider before booking.
That's why they stated categorically that once your start date comes closer,you should forget about being invited for any interview and cancel your booking appointment.
From experience,mails for interview dates for category B applicants are received from the end of July and all through August (NB:this time frame might change for the better and i don't know when) for winter semester.
If i were you,i'd cancel immediately,rebook and use October/early November as start date.
Start online for the time being.

From your post I can tell you don’t have residence permit in Cotonou so therefore you can’t apply for visa through Cotonou. Correct me if I am wrong.
