Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, a Filipino-German actress and model, was announced as runner-up to Miss Colombia at the Miss Universe Pageant, before host, Steve Harvey announced to the audience that he had made a mistake.

By this time, 21-year-old Ariadna Gutierrez Arévalo, of Colombia, had already been crowned.

The crown was then removed from Miss Colombia and given to Miss Philippines. 27-year-old, Olivia Jordan, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, finished third.

“It was my mistake, it was on the card. Horrible mistake,” Harvey said in an apology to the contestants from Colombia and the Philippines during the live broadcast. “The first runner-up is Colombia”, he said.

Back home in Colombia, the residents were not happy at all.

Former beauty queen, Paula Correa, said: “We were clearly very excited. We could not believe it.

Honestly, we were happy because Ariadna marvelously represented all of us from Colombia. It all of a sudden went from a moment full of joy and excitement to a moment full of humiliation and sadness for us. It really seems unfair to me.”

While in the Philippines, it was joy all the way.

Presidential spokesperson, Herminio Coloma, said:”The triumph of Miss Philippines, Wurtzbach, in the Miss Universe pageant is an honour that is shared by the entire Filipino nation.

“She is the embodiment of the Filipinos intelligence, talent and skill that has also gained recognition in many fields of endeavor by the global community.

“Her victory is a most welcome Christmas present to a grateful and hopeful nation”.

Wurtzbach was the third Filipino to win the Miss Universe title, following Margarita Moran in 1973 and Gloria Diaz in 1969.

Honestly, I think every girl is a pretty healthy mix of all these types of girlfriends but I thought it would be great to separate them into 10 different types. Here they are:

1. THE SOCIAL MEDIA GIRLFRIEND: This girl is very obsessed with putting her relationship on social media. She can't afford to have her phone battery dead. Give her a surprise romantic kiss on the cheek and you will have to do it again because she needs to either be recording or taking pictures. 

2. THE MOTHERLY GIRLFRIEND: The motherly girlfriend treats her boyfriend like her son. She is always keeping up with him, knows his whereabouts at all time of the day, tells him what or what not to wear, where or where not to go.  She practically mothers him. 

3. The DETECTIVE GIRLFRIEND: She is always checking to see what he is doing without her knowing. Always checking his phone when his not aware, checking his pockets just to find clues on what's up.

4. THE JEALOUS GIRLFRIEND: This one is jealous of anything and everything involving her boyfriend. He dare not talk to a female dog. They love all the attention you want in any girl to come from them alone. 

5. THE BOYFRIEND TALKATIVE: Everything seems to remind this girl of her boyfriend so she talks about him in every subject matter.

6. THE RELATIONSHIP NOVICE: This one just really doesn't know how to do relationships. She feels it's weird to hold her hand in public. 

7. THE CLINGY GIRLFRIEND: The clingy type needs to always be in contact with her boyfriend. She wants to go everywhere with him, even to go hangout with the guys. She knows how many times she calls and texts all day and how long it took you to reply each.

8. The SENSITIVE GIRLFRIEND: She is very sensitive. She gets offended by everything. Its takes a lot to cope with these type.

9. THE HIGH MAINTENANCE GIRLFRIEND: This girl is very expensive to keep. She wants what she wants and doesn't care the cost or how you get them.

Five ships laden with petroleum products and foods have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday in Lagos.

NPA stated this in a document, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The document stated that the contents of the ships were petrol, diesel, crude palm oil and rice.

NPA noted that 36 other ships would sail into the ports with various consignments from Nov. 24 to Dec. 18.

The consignments are petrol, diesel, crude palm oil, rice, bulk gypsum, general cargo, containers, bulk salt, bulk sugar, steel products and buck wheat.

NAN reports that 14 other ships are at the ports, discharging buck wheat, bulk fertilizer, general cargo, soda ash, containers, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, petrol and bulk gas

Im very sure Buhari tot it was a child play when he was campaigning, now im sure he is feeling the heat and if care is not taken, the same way he campaigned abt it in GEJ tenure, maybe another Presidential aspirant will use it against him.
